I can confidently say my experience has gotten worse since the last time I was there. The optometrist was always helpful and accommodating, even though a temp handled my eye check during my last appointment. The real problem is the receptionists working there. First of all, they need a separate worker to do small tune-ups of the frames, like tightening the legs if they're too loose, and has separate hours and wasn't there. All the time I've been to optical service offices, always they had one on hand. Furthermore, and I noticed this is a common problem, they do not notify customers when their glasses are ready for pickup even when they said they would. And when I got my new glasses, the lenses already had smudge on them. Thinking twice about coming back here. read more

I used to go here for my glasses years ago. They are greedy greedy people. They charge an arm and a leg. One time I wanted to leave a $60 deposit and Grace herself rubbed her fingers together so I can give her more money. Wow. The Indian chick there is not very nice. The only reason I liked this place was because of the eye doctors and the technician. But the women who are in charge of taking people's money are rude anD GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY! Mind you, I paid for everything out of pocket (glasses and contacts) my mother has been coming here also, but will no longer because of their greed. My mother had to call her insurance company and even her insurance company told the indian lady that she was wrong and even asked why they are charging my mother for things they shouldn't be charging for. Enter at your own risk. You have been warned. Be prepared for these women to say nothing is covered and drain your pockets. My experience here is great. I have been coming for years and I have always been treated with professionalism and courtesy. After years of getting glasses from here, I decided to take the plunge into getting contacts for the summer months as I am an active runner. Let's just say the fitting was not an easy task- but Zarina took great care of me. She walked me through everything and trained me on how to put in and remove my contacts for appx 3 visits for 3hrs each. She was definitely a major factor as to why I keep coming back here. To be entirely honest, the only reason why I'm giving this place two stars instead of one is because the eye doctors that have attended me have been great. That being said, in the 5 years that I went to this optical, I had three different eye doctors. They are not really consistent when it comes to staffing which doesn't bode well in terms of service. I used to go once or twice a year and, every time, I felt like there was completely new staffing; except for the now manager and the glasses adjuster. Which brings me to my next and most important point: the manager, an Indian woman who is always and has always been there, IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST AT EVERYTHING. Firstly, she has a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE PROBLEM. She always seems like she's on the defensive AND in a bad mood. No, I was not being redundant because I meant they are both caked on top of each other when it comes to her. She is not helpful and she's kind of lazy. I've had to call the insurance BEFORE going to this optical to ensure that I get the CORRECT information when it comes to what services can be rendered and what is or isn't covered. If it pops up wrong in her system (which is 95% of the time) she will refuse to check again. I've had to demand that she call my insurance, right there and then, to ask them to verify the information. I'm telling you this woman is the epitome of everything you shouldn't do and be in the workplace. And yet, they can change all of the other staff and doctors, except her. *exasperated sigh* You really are better off going someplace else. read more

My mother used to take me here when I was a kid. Now, if you go for an eye exam and are paying out of pocket it's $35 if you get the glasses there and $50 if you don't. I don't know if this is common practice now but it wasn't a couple of years ago. No thank you. read more
