Excellent service, accommodated a last minute weekday 5pm appointment with a smile. They clean the pedicure stations with bleach after each client. Employee cleaned the basin next to me with an unmarked spray bottle but I could smell the bleach. Employees are nice, talented, friendly, they take their time with your service as well. Me and my friend went in to get pedicures today, they did an absolute wonderful job at the pedicures. Our feet feel wonderful and look even better. However, the environment was not the most comfortable. As soon as we walked in, the workers led us to our seats and immediately made eye contact w one another and laughed. I could tell for the first 10-15 mins they continued to make comments about me and my friend considering the way they were looking at us and immediately smirking and laughing. I moved here about 3 years ago and it has been difficult to find a nail tech who I am happy with. I have been to a couple places in my area (gaithersburg) and have not been happy! I was recommended by my cousin who has been going to Mia for a couple years and her nails ALWAYS look perfect. I finally made the drive to silver spring (20 mins) and it has been worth every minute!!! Mia does an amazing job and I have not gone anywhere else for the past 6 months! I always get a full acrylic set with coffin shape and she does it so perfect! She does such a great job on the shape and my nails are not thick like how other places tend to do. She is also quick and efficient! My nails also last a very long time without lifting or breaking. I can go 3 weeks if I need to without any lifting. I highly recommend Grace nails! I haven't came here in about 3 years and finally came today. Still in love! I called and was able to be squeezed it (trust I know how tight weekends are!). NANCY did my pedicure and eyebrows! Grace nails is the #1 place to go as far as nails and waxing!! Service is impeccable and not to mention very clean and sanitized. I have been going to Mia and Mia ONLY for about 3 years now. I didn't like how she told me towards​ the end that, if wasn't going to get gel she wouldn't have allowed me to stay... Over all it wasn't a bad expect. After hours of searching for a nail salon, I finally stumbled upon Grace Nails. I got a gel manicure, pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. I was serviced by Kim and Tammy. I rarely come to get my nails done (maybe a few times out of the year) but after this experience, I will definitely do it more frequently. The salon is clean, friendly, and they engage in small talk with the customers. The salon is smaller than other salons that I've been to, but it compliments the comfy and relaxing atmosphere. My overall experience was great. I received a basic pedicure that was done by Kim. The water was set to a temperature that I liked and she was gentle throughout the entire pedicure. The massage chairs were comfortable, clean, and offered options to adjust the massage After my pedicure was finished I went to sit at Tammy's station. She did my manicure quickly and carefully. She also did a very cute and simple design on my nails. She handled the manicure with care and was very gentle. Tammy also waxed my eyebrows. I usually get my eyebrows threaded, but Tammy was able to maintain the shape that I wanted. The only thing I will change about next time is that I would bring cash for a tip. They accept cards for services BUT they only allow you to tip with cash. There were so many great things about my experience at Grace Nails. I will definitely come back! read more

I was in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure. The Yelp comments boasted only good experiences. The nail salon has a pleasant environment, the selection of polish is okay and staff is attentive. Upon entering the salon, the odor of chemicals was intense; however, once the entrance door was left ajar the odor dissipated. My technician was Kathy. When I entered the salon she was with another client but I was able to soak my feet for a while, which I love to do. Kathy listened to my needs and satisfied my requests. I liked that there was not pressure to upsell services that is so annoying. I enjoyed the service Kathy provided and my nails look good. Pleasantly surprised! This intimate shop offers individualized attention and truly cares about providing the best customer service. When I first arrived, I asked for Mia. Unfortunately she was busy for the next 2 hours. Instead of telling me to wait she asked that I come back for an appointment with her. I had no problem with that, I appreciated her respecting my time. Mia is professional, detailed oriented and has an amazing work ethic. Her work is beautiful! She was able to perfectly sculpt a short coffin shape for my acrylic fill-in which looked great. The shop is small and a little outdated in decoration. However, what they lack in appearance they shine in customer service. From the lavender sugar scrub to the hand massage, they truly care about the customer experience. Went there 4 times before leaving this review. This place is tiny, and most the time they only have 1 person that can do refills and stuff in the morning. I had high expectations before I started going there, but after 4 times of experience, I have to say there are better service nail salon then Grace. I had 4 different female do my nails all four times I went. None of them did my refill the right way. One time almost burnt the side of my figure with over heated file, one time they did my refill super thick, one other tried to soak off my nails when I needed a refill... enough said, guess it's just not a place for me. Nails salons can be a hit or miss but grace nails is definitely a hit! Everything from their customer service to the salon, to the overall experience was exceptional. I'm always scared of trying new nail salons, either you get bad customer service, or It's overpriced, or their delivery is average. Grace nails comes through with all three. Not only was a I greeted with a smile from all the staff, but they helped me get situated and took the awkwardness out of the sometimes awkward fist encounters. Everything was nice and clean and done in a timely manner. Now me being the klutz I am sometimes, after leaving the salon I had to run some errands and my toes had been drying for some time and were dry when I touched them so I figured it would be safe to put my shoes back on. After walking around for a little bit, my heart began to sink because I felt my nails sticking to the inside of my shoes. I HAD SMUDGED MY TOES! I quickly called them back and they politely told me to come back in and re did my toes for NO EXTRA CHARGE! They never made me feel bad about it either! Call ahead and book an appointment! Stopped by this Grace Nails after doing a quick search on Yelp for Nail Salons in the area. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how neat and clean the shop is...plus it smelled good! I was greeted by a nice lady and told the wait would be about 30 minutes, which was ok with me. All the staff are very polite and they did an amazing job with my mani, pedi and eyebrows!
