This location is great since it's in the same parking lot as Petco and is drive through, so I didn't even have to leave the car! The baristas were warm and welcoming, and provided great beverage and food recommendations. They also have drink specials, which is nice! They were also efficient when making my drink and food. I appreciate that the ambiance is casual. To drink, I had their special Mexican mocha, iced. It featured a couple types of nut syrups and spices in addition to the chocolate. My name is Kati and I'm addicted to Iced Americanos from Gourmet Latte . They are always solid, haven't had a bad one. The americanos are different at these coffee stands than at coffee shops. They are less watered down but still creamy/strong at the same time (if that's your vibe). A lot of their drinks on the menu are very sweet. If you don't like that, ask for less syrups etc. I find that even tho their menu is kinda huge and overwhelming, if you know what kind of coffee beverage you like, they can easily make it to your tastes read more

Stopped through Gourmet Latte while out running errands. It was the first place I found, so I went for it. It's a cute little drive thru, and it's a chain. A smaller chain, but they've got a few locations around the greater Seattle area. The baristas were super nice and made our drinks quickly. I got the iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte and it was so good! It was a LOT of honey though. It made it a little too sweet and hid the lavender flavor a lot. That being said, it was still drinkable. Good experience. I'll return if I'm in the area! read more

TLDR: Drive through coffee shop with lots of variety and great coffee. Loved this little coffee shop which I randomnly came cross during a drive while craving a dose of caffeine. I totally was not expecting to see such a large variety of drinks on offer. I have added a pic of the menu so you can see for yourself! My favorite (and also the only drink I have had here) was the Dilettante Dark Mocha! I'm a big fan of Dilettante chocolates and this was just perfect. Their coffee always tastes consistent at each stand which says a lot about how well training is. Love their wide variety of menu items and would love to try the smoothies one day. However my one confusion about this place is why it is so much more expensive than all the other local shops I go to. I order a 20oz vanilla latte and it comes to $6.20. Most of my other shops charge me $4.50. So almost a $2 price jump! On the board it looks like it would be $3.95 with tax (around $4) but that is no where close to what I'm charged each time. After tip my coffee run is $8!! I looked at the receipt I got today since I ordered a 16oz island latte and they charged for each syrup flavor rather than per ounce which I was expecting. You shouldn't be using more syrup than normal right? The 3 syrups cost $1.35 added onto the latte price. I feel like that's a lot, as a prior cafe owner I'd never charge per flavor but rather per oz. (3oz of syrup would be sooo sweet). I'd love to come here every day but even with a good paying job, I can't justify spending that much read more

Personally, I am a barista. I work at a drive thru stand like this one. I work alone during shifts or with one other person. I understand being busy, getting flustered, totally been there. Here, you have at least two baristas and at max four. I come here because my stand doesn't offer white coffee and this is the closest a place by me that has it. Every time I order my white coffee americano with white chocolate, Irish cream and cream (I get that it's a complicated order), there is a layer of white chocolate left while I'm drinking telling me it wasn't stirred right. I ordered my drink again today, this time getting a second one as well. They had four people on staff today and my drinks weren't mixed nor white coffee. I test coffee at my stand, but when I go out to get my own coffee, I have to get white coffee due to weird stomach issues. In short, I'm disappointed that with four people on staff, no one wanted to make sure the drink was right. Make sure to really emphasize what you want in your drink to these baristas, they need your help. read more

Are you sure this drive-thru isn't run by a cheerleading booster club? Because it is staffed by some of the perkiest ladies I have ever met. The window is a little high for my sedan, making me feel like Oliver asking for more porridge every time I drive up. But no worries. Logistics can be a little tricky sometimes at this location during the busy times as the "other" window is a little hard to maneuver into if there is a line. The 16 oz drink does NOT automatically come with 2 shots! It is a single shot unless you specifically pay to add another shot. Consistent shots, nice tasting drinks. --The location in Ballard is a bit tight (at the small end of the PetCo store), so if the lines get more than two cars long, I bypass (too tight for my pickup to turn into). --Baristas are friendly, but not over the top. My drive through coffee stand options in my 'hood are limited. Maybe it's just me, but there's something not right about girls wearing next to nothing handling my drinks and food that I'm about to consume. Something not right as in ew, dirty. So, I was pleased to discover an alternative to the bikini baristas down the street. Thank you Gourmet Latte baristas for slingin' lattes with your clothes on. Gourmet Latte is in the parking lot of Petco. With a drive-thru window on each side of the stand, the wait seems to be minimal, whether you're getting your caffeine fix in the morning hours or grabbing an afternoon pick-me-up. If you don't like coffee (why do you live in Seattle?), they have plenty of non-java related drinks, such as jet teas, Italian sodas and smoothies. Pricing seems standard and service is pretty average (but they have clothes on, hallelujah!). So, if you're running on empty and in a hurry, Gourmet Latte can fill ya up. read more

I've gone through here a few times as it's super convenient on my way to work in the mornings but that's really the only plus for me. The baristas have been just short of rude the first two times I ordered coffee here. There was no huge line of vehicles honking and feverishly waiting for their caffeine infusion... it was just me patiently waiting to try out a new coffee stand. The last time I came through here the young lady was quite friendly and if she had been the one to assist me the previous times I would have a completely different view of this establishment because with me customer service and a good attitude go a long way. The other thing that struck me about my beverages from here, while being made exactly to my specifications, is that they weren't very good. I'm not sure what kind of product they use for their white chocolate mochas or what things could potentially ruin said productions (expired or spoiled?) but I have never finished a drink from here. I am fairly new to Seattle and have just grown to appreciate good coffee. I've tried a lot of the coffee places, including the drive throughs. While the weather may suck a good portion of the year, great coffee is a wonderful tradeoff. Gourmet Latte is my favorite of all the coffee places around. I have always had very friendly, quick and professional service. The coffee is always smooth and not bitter. I appreciate the card that gets stamped each time and the chocolate covered coffee bean as a topper. After only a couple of times of being there, they know my drink which is pretty incredible given the volume of people who go through there on any given day. I made this review on Google already, but I want to make it here as well: do not go here. The coffee was mediocre at best, but more importantly the person who was working stole my debit card information and used it to pay her $73 cable bill less than a day later. (I don't even have cable, or a home phone service!) I wish I had paid more attention and got her name, but I don't usually go to a local place to get coffee thinking that someone might steal my information like that.
