(I've stopped in also at Costco SoDO, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Lynnwood Business, and Silverdale). Useful to have the individual ordering touchpad kiosks and then the wait until your number is called. I recently noticed this past week that the tables have been increased and reconfigured. That helps with seating and traffic flow. Definitely I avoid it during peak dinner time and weekends....simply too crowded! What's been ordered over the years? Of course, the hot dog and soda. My fave go to. I miss Pepsi since the switch to Coke products, but I read somewhere that now bottled water is offered now. Pizza by the slice or whole pizza. There's only cheese or pepperoni. Remember the days with the combo? Still can't beat that price for fresh out of the oven pizza though. The Homie loves the chicken bake. I tried one of the deli type sandwiches once, didn't care for the thick bolo bread. Tried the giant chocolate chip cookie, prefer the days of the long churros instead. The espresso type bevs are just okay, prefer the soft serves. I sure miss the days featuring mango though. Service is expedient. For the price and convenience, it's a treat. Rarely pause to eat onsite, usually it's to go.

Chances are, you haven't tried legit açai yet (unless you've gone to Brazil). Tropical Berry is one of the rare places in WA that sells real açai. You know is a legit spot if they have condensed milk and milk powder (which is what most people add on in Brazil). I recommend this place to everyone I know, especially if they're not from Brazil. Their açai is delicious, their "coxinha" is one of the best ones I've ever had (please try it with the green mayo). It's always worth the drive for me to come here! Tropical berry is truly a hidden gem!

I probably have biked past this place a hundred times, but had no idea it was there. My girlfriend suggested we get açai bowls, their specialty. Apparently she and her daughter had lived on açai bowls for years. I'd never had had one, but was willing to try something new. OMG! They were so good and refreshing! We both got different toppings--we went a little crazy with them in fact, the fruit and stuff would barely fit in the bowl!--and we downed both our small bowls. I got banana, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple and peanut butter. The latter sounded weird, but it tasted awesome, especially when mixed with the açai. My girlfriend got the same, but got granola instead of pineapple. I also ordered a pressed sugar cane drink. Yup, made from real sugar canes. Sounds weird, and one would think would be extremely sweet. But no, not super sweet, and surprisingly refreshing. I remember gnawing on sugar canes when I was a kid, so the flavor was familiar. But a drink was a lot easier to consume!! I'll definitely get it again! The place is tiny. Only two tables. And, although it's across Bothell Way from the bike trail, you really have to cross at one of the lights, before or after. A little hassle, but so worth it!!
