I underwent the screening and paid out of pocket for the lab work up. She was very thorough, personable, and passionate about her profession. Upon first meeting, you knew she really cared about your well-being and listened to your concerns. I started feeling some improvements within a month and by four months was feeling so much better than I've felt in years. To be honest, the foods Heidi told me I needed to avoid.. Many of us have tried dietary changes that center on what you can't have. If you're like me, you focus on what you can't have or can't do, and eventually your will power fades. It helped that Heidi handed me a list of foods I actually like to focus on eating, but really what made it doable is that Heidi is very kind and doesn't expect or want perfection from you. When I have a hectic week or am traveling and can't make ideal meal choices, I am able to rely on my supplement regime to fill in the gaps. These days my health and energy level are a little up and down (depending on how closely... or not... I follow Heidi's recommendations, so there's a NYE resolution somewhere in that). When I was following my plan pretty strictly, my primary care doctor was so thrilled with the improvement in my health that she said she wasn't going to ask questions about what I was doing because she loved the results. :)
