If you're looking for milk tea in the Bothell area, you could do a lot worse. They're well staffed and usually there isn't much wait to get your drink after ordering. Always glad to visit this location! I feel like so many happy lemons get crazy with foot traffic and it takes forever to get your drink and this is not the case here. The bubble waffles take a little while to cook but that isn't their fault, just know you gotta wait if you order the waffle. I stopped by Happy Lemon recently after picking up some groceries in the area. This is a pretty standard Happy Lemon location, not much else to say, so I'll go straight into the drink. Boba Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice ($6.55) - Happy Lemon is known for being heavier on the creamer, and this drink is no exception. It has a lot of body and the creamer covers up most of the tea flavor. Still, it's very pleasant to drink, and combined with a good level of sweetness at 50%, makes this a pretty solid drink. The boba is similar pretty good quality - it's nicely bouncy and chewy, with a slight sweetness on the exterior. I did find several that stuck together into pairs, but it wasn't too many. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 This is a good Happy Lemon location that definitely meets the standards of the chain. I've been to better ones, but I've also been to ones that are much worse. I've had multiple incorrect orders from this location where either they're out of the topping or my order was completely wrong and this isn't the first time it's really upsetting coming back to this place and this is the worst experience I've ever had at any Happy Lemon franchise. My husband and son always make a point to stop by this location for his favorite treat boba and Oreo waffle after his Jiu-Jitsu practice on the weekends. This location consistently yields great customer service, and efficiently completes orders. The atmosphere is also very inviting there is never time I don't see patrons taking photos. Stopped here with my friends recently. First time experiencing the Happy Lemon though I have noticed them in multiple places. Some of my friends are regular here makes it easy for me to select my drinks. Picked up couple of drinks that day - Avocado Smoothie and the Taro Milk tea. Service is amazingly fast. The store provides a convenient grab-and-go service along with serene background music and has room for up to 15 people to sit. Lots of open space to wait for your order. They have really horrible customer service, they don't even smile or greet you. They just stare at you, when taking your order. It has happened to me several times. They like talking to each other and not the customers or friends that are visiting them. Yesterday was even worse, I ordered online when I was picking up my order, one associate was ringing up a family and a guy was standing next to her. I said to him that I had an online pick-up. With a stone cold face, he asked for my name, I gave my name he handed me the drink. And I said thank you, he didn't even respond went back to looking over the lady that was ringing up the family . I generally get the F3 or 4, which is either a strawberry iced tea with lychee with a base of black or jasmine tea. Both are great! I always enjoy getting bubble waffles on occasion, and Happy Lemon makes great ones. This is one of the worst experience I had in happy lemon. I ordered online 2 avocado smoothie with regular sugar level and other drinks. However the drink taste like water and no sweetness. I had to drive all the way back from Everett to ask for a remake. However the drink still taste like water. I ordered another one and it tasted completely different.
