How is it possible? A boba place out in the suburbs of Washington, a name so unadorned, have the best Brown Sugar Creme Brulé I have ever tasted? Apparently, it is possible, thanks to Boba Bothell. We stayed at a hotel just right behind where Boba is situated. My daughter had a craving for boba, so I dropped her and the wife off while I get back to our hotel. When they got back, I asked my daughter what was the name of the place. "Boba" Abigail answered. "Yeah, what's the name?", I replied? "Boba! With two dots!!". Hmm okay, so plain. I asked her for a sip... WTH? What is this?! It so good! It was their Brown Sugar with creme brulé. The brown sugar, oh so yummy, perfectly harmonious with their creme brulé. The brulé was not heavy and overpowering and perfectly matches the drink. I had to get my own drink. We came back the next day and I ordered myself with the aforementioned drink. Wow, just so refreshing. The interior is nicely decorated, and I love that fact that Boba is uniquely independent and uniquely Bothell. Local residents, you have yourselves and excellent boba place by the way of Boba Bothell. My my friend whose a new implant to the area stay of a long time so we can get back to Boba Bothell and have lots of their excellent Brown Sugar Creme Brulé. read more

Ordered waffle (see pictures) you can see the dough clearly, it felt so heavy when the guy handed it to me and I didn't realize it wasn't fully cooked until we left on the way home. It tasted awful!! The worst I have had in my life. The drink weren't good either, the salted cream in my drink wouldn't mix well together after shaking it for a long period of time. Please don't come here. Great little boba shop with lots of options! I usually get a 25% sweet honey black milk tea with boba--perfectly light sweetness, balanced honey and tea flavors, and chewy boba! Unfortunately, I stopped getting fruit milk teas here because they always end up separating and having an unpleasant consistency. I like that the drinks are not overly expensive though and they have punch cards so you can get free drinks! read more

I think the ratings are propped up by their food offerings. Just going by the boba, this is one of the worst I've had in recent memory. The tea flavor was pretty nonexistent and even when I asked for 50% sugar it was still very sweet. Watery tea and heavy creamer is a bad combination. I think they're also chronically understaffed, every time I show up one person is handling taking orders and making drinks, and it takes forever to get our drinks. This is not the fault of the staff. One of the best Boba places I have been to. My colleagues recommended this place a while ago, but haven't tried it recently. Located in the Canyon Park Place strip mall. Plenty of parking around. They do have various Teas, Slush, Coffees, Creama, Smoothies... Among all of these I love the smoothies with Boba or Jelly with it. Avocado, Mango, Pineapple, Pomegranate and Green apple - tried these so far! Loved them. Service is really quick. Most of the time, there will be a few people ahead of me in the line, but the drinks come out so fast once you order it. The Staffs are so friendly. They are always busy! It's a cute place. A milk tea shop with tons of drink and food options in the Bothell/Canyon Park area. I was surprised that there were so many food options that look good to snack on. Super aesthetic inside and lots of great cute photo spots. Food I got the kiwi milk tea and my friend got the black tea crema. I would recommend the crema over the kiwi milk tea. I haven't tried any of the food here yet but they got tons of options that looks good to snack on with friends. Atmosphere Plenty of seating area and lots of cute photo taking spots. My fave place in Bothell of bubble tea. My fave is the Thai tea smoothie with boba. My little loves mango/coconut or cantaloupe. They are always blended really smoothly. Sometimes the boba are still hard, but that's not the end of the world for me. I really like their spring rolls too. They are pork filled and come with sweet chili sauce. I'm taking off 1 star for the speed of service. It always seems kinda slow, even when they aren't slammed (which they are a lot of time because it so tasty!) Overall the drink was good, however, after sipping the bottom oreo pieces, i felt hard sharp particles in my mouth! The more I sipped, the more plastic particles came up! Feel super disturbed by this as I shared my drink with my kid too. It's unsettling to know we drank blended plastic particles. I called the cafe and left a message about our experience but no one contacted me back. Super disappointed as they have good drinks but now questioning their quality and cleanliness. Quiet little place for some boba in Bothell. Feels cozy and in an easy to get to location. Decent selection of fruit teas and good value for boba. Was in the mood for some boba on a hot summer afternoon and found this spot in Bothell. It's right off I-405, so pretty easy to get to. It's located in a strip mall area so there's also plenty of parking out front. Inside the shop, there's a few booths and tables and some neon lights/fake vegetation for aesthetic shots :) The menu has a good selection of fruit and traditional milk teas with most toppings you would expect. I got the mango milk tea and wintermelon green tea, both with boba and 75% sweetness. Both were not too sweet and had their respective fruity tastes. I really enjoyed the mango tea and found it very refreshing. The boba pearls are also a nice consistency and tasted great as well. They also have plenty of snacks like bubble waffles. Matcha flavor is distinct and not under or overwhelming like some places. A nice pick up to your day. Böba is lightly sweetened and has a nice chewy texture. Bubble Waffle Cone: the Waffle is really good! It's got a very spongy texture and each bubble is full of Waffle and not air! So yes, this Waffle is dense and very filling for a dessert. This place also actually takes time to arrange your toppings rather than scoop and dump like some other places. That's the glory of small local businesses--they care! All that aside, I do think that their choice of vanilla ice cream isn't very good--it's got a powdery/gritty texture and very artificial flavor. I'm a larger fan for creamy ice cream that doesn't taste like it was a Barbie doll at some point. But this is just my opinion. They are spot on with their presentation though! read more

Great little bubble tea spot nestled in Canyon Park Place! Free and plentiful parking. They have a WIDE selection of teas and shakes and smoothies, as well as toppings! They've also got a few unique flavors that are rarer to find at some bubble tea shops as well as a few I've never seen before, and as a self proclaimed bubble tea connoisseur that's saying something! They also have some sweet treats and bubble waffles that looked and smelled delicious, I'll certainly have to come back to try out all those goodies! The shop itself had a fun decoration style, the atmosphere was open and welcoming, and I can tell that pre-COVID times this is probably the place to chill. The young man who took my order was very nice and was happy to answer my question regarding whether their milk tea creamer is dairy free, which it is! I would also say the boba to drink ratio on a scale of poor,fair,good,excellent would be fair. Definitely ran out before the drink was a quarter empty but it was enough not to be entirely disappointed. For almost $6 however I would expect just a tad more. read more

It was kind of just that "quick fix" type of quality. Again, not terrible but not amazing. SERVICE // They were kind here. Not a fan of this boba place. I've tried different drinks here and I dislike most of them. The milk tea, matcha milk tea, and mango milk tea taste plainly diluted. The taro is decent but makes my stomach feel heavy after about half of a cup. The strawberry milk tea also tastes diluted AND it strangely separates into two "sections" when you let it sit (see pic). Not sure how the drinks here are being made but seems sketchy. It's a nice place to sit and chill with friends but boba here just isn't it in my opinion. I'm usually super impressed with this place and their food. I came in shortly after they opened today and I didn't get my food for 45 minutes. They told me they were backed up in the kitchen but my food was the only order seeing as I was second in line and the people ahead of me only ordered drinks. I get being short staffed but I can see 4 people in the back working on different things. I'm also seeing no one wearing gloves while preparing food and only a couple employees wearing masks in the food prep area. definitely disappointed this time around. So sorry to say that while I would give the staff and service a high rating that I cannot get behind the boba here. I have tried a few different flavors: taro, coconut, and chai tea, and just have found them all to be really too sweet for my taste and to have a grainy textur, especially the taro. The texture issue may be because of the powder that they use, but, I just did not find my tea that enjoyable (even when adjusting the sweetness to a lesser amount). The boba here are hit and miss - I feel like sometimes they are chewy but sometimes they are too soft and verge into the mushy category. The waffle was decent but mostly just tasted sweet - would have liked a little more flavor to come through. read more

First thing I noticed here was the wall with chalk art. It was so cute. I loved the other wall with frames. There were many tables available. I couldn't make up my mind for my drink for long time but I ended up getting strawberry smoothie. Staff was patient and nice. My drink was very refreshing and the smoothie was fresh and cold.
