We we're very pleased with the food & the service albeit the sevice was really slow was on point. Our waiter was exceptional. The young lady who greeted us was also very professional. She actually googled to find out for us if we had to pay the metered parking while having a disabled placard displayed. Our only complaint is that my wife ordered the lobster & fried rice. The lobster was cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was actually cold. They resolved this matter quickly, but the portion of fried rice was like a child's portion. You would think with the price of the dish you would get a sufficient amount of fried rice with the lobster. I ordered all you can eat crab legs, & they were delicious. We will most definitely return to Gotti. Also, the ambiance was all that you would expect it to be. read more

Gotti's - All you can eat crab legs we're delicious - Seafood Near Me - Houston, Texas

I found this black owned business on door dash one night when I almost forgot to order food fa these children. I ordered their lamb chops and they was bussin'! So, y'all know I had to pull up on them. I went up there a few days ago during restaurant week and ordered their Cajun chicken pasta. We also ordered the steak w/ Mac & Cheese. The food was great. They also have hookah service. It was easy for me to park because it was during the daytime on a bit so busy day. It may be hard to park in this area on a Sunday Funday in Houston so be mindful. Their service was exceptional and friendly. They play the best in Afro Beats, R&B and Hip Hop music. It was definitely a vibe with the music and artwork. I love supporting blacked owned businesses. I will be back. read more

Ugly food not worth the price. Better off going to long john silver at least the food is good and the price is much better.

We had reservations so we were seated right away. The DJ and MC were very engaging and they had the vibes set. I ordered a watermelon martini which was perfectly made. I had the catfish and grits with a side of waffles. The food was seasoned but my grits and waffles were cold. I could tell my waiter was a little annoyed by the other party he had, but was fine with us and we tipped him extra just because. As we were leaving, it was shot o'clock so we were able to do shots (free) before we left. It was a little smaller than I expected, but the vibe was nice. I will definitely be returning read more

Food was Delicious the DJ was Good and the Bingo was Fun.. Excellent Customer Service

I waited a while for the food but it was worth the wait!! So flavorful! The gumbo tasted delicious and the wing sauce is number 1! I loved the blackened shrimp and catfish definitely a runner up with papadeaux. The place is a vibe for people who enjoy the night life. Good music, hookah and a fun environment. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a LIT experience with some delicious menu options! This past weekend was my first visit for Sunday brunch but, I've also been later on a Sunday and had a good experience. Sunday brunch was also Bingo and that just added another level to the experience! The music kept the vibe going and the food was BOMB (like I couldn't stop talking about it lol). However, I will say that during both visits I thought the drinks could have been stronger but, at least they taste pretty good. Our server was attentive and the manager even came over to greet us and ask about our experience. The shrimp and grits and boudin balls were my FAV! I even considered ordering some to go lol. But I also ordered the cinnamon rolls which came out warm and tasty. Can't wait to go back! read more

Horrible service we got there at 8:10 had to wait maybe 15mins to sit down. Once we ordered our food took 1 hour & a half before we were just over it we waited too long to were we paid for our drinks & our hookah because the food took so long when that was the only reason why we came the food wasn't coming out until 10 which is too long when we see everybody getting food before us no!!! Poor service!! Won't return here read more

Jai was an amazing waiter. Loved him. The honey wings took a long time to come out which was disappointing. The eggrolls were ok, nothing to write home about and the seafood rice was HORRIBLE!!! They should take it off the menu or revamp the recipe. The first margarita was pretty tasty but the second one was not so good. Not sure why it wouldn't taste the same. The vibe was loud and crunk so if you like that type of atmosphere it would be perfect. They definitely need to work on the menu and time to get food to table. Because with. 12% auto gratuity and 8%service fee you need to work on a better experience for your patrons. read more

Customer service was excellent. Scenery was excellent. Music was on point!! Food was edible.. For our appetizer we had the boudin egg rolls and those were my FAVORITE. I ordered shrimp and catfish, with dirty rice and it was pretty, okay. My husband ordered steak (Wednesday is steak night) and it's just something about getting a steak, at a "not steak house". read more

I went to Gotti's on a Thursday night with a friend and expected a pretty chill atmosphere. The vibe was interesting. There were only 10 patrons in the restaurant, but the music was blasting so loud I was straining to hear my friend. We ordered chicken strips and truffle fries. The chicken strips were great, but the fries were drenched (maybe even fried) in truffle oil making them inedible. If you are looking for more of a turn up or club vibe with great drinks and shareable apps, Gotti's is a great establishment to patron. read more

Upon arriving, we had to park across the street. This wasn't too much of a damper on our Brunch, maybe my Jimmy's disagree. Anywho, we were immediately brought to a booth; but rightfully so it was not busy. Due to the lack of menu items, I just ordered egg whites, which i mistook for rice when it came out, pan sausage, and cajun grits (lol).... Babe ordered lamb chops with potatoes and eggs. Where do I begin? As stated, the egg whites looked like rice...the pan sausage tasted like.... Like if there was old oil in a cast iron skillet and someone decided to cook sausage, in the old oil. The cajun grits....again.....lol. I actually had a piece of the lamb chop for gits and shiggles and it wasn't nasty, but it is always the sizing for me of the lamb chop. This is standard throughout all restaurants, though, so, whatever. My boo spent a little over $100 and I was so surprised!! I thought maybe $70 (however he did get two drinks)...but that was high to say the quality was what it was. I'm not going to say that I would never recommend this restaurant, but if you are drunk and just left the club, then this is a place where you should go. But if you are looking to have a good brunch, or dinner, you better go elsewhere. Because this is not that. read more

S/O to Chef Ann for hooking up an amazing Lobster with Gotti rice. Those dirty rice egg rolls awesome and our wonderful waitress Bree was helpful and cordial. We were initially going somewhere else, but our second choice was a game changer. The food was amazing and flavorful. The only issue I have, is the stairs. Being handicap it was difficult for me to navigate those step stairs. So if you are looking for a Kool dive. Go by and check em out.... read more

Me & my bf came here on a Monday night around 10PM. Got sat immediately in a booth, got service quick! Keith took care of us & he was on it & brought waters ASAP. Took care of our drinks & appetizers. I was shorted on my shrimp but he fixed it so quick. They have open mic night and the energy was dope. They have $5 Don Julio shots Monday! Def a cute spot. I don't smoke hookah but they have it inside & outside. Street parking. Staff was cool. Good vibes. read more

The spot is quaint. From the outside I would not have expected the inside. Meaning it's very dark outside but a nice vibe and scenery on the inside. We were greeted upon arrival and seated. We took a moment to view the menu. Inquired on any specials. She went to retrieve the info for the specific items and we ordered catfish nuggets, fries, and chicken fingers in addition to 2 crown apples. We placed an order for hookah also. It took a while for the hookah and once it came, she did state she wasn't the best at making them...indeed it really didn't pull. I then ordered a sprite. We waited for our waitress to return and she took it back after we informed her of the hookah. It took a while again for the hookah to return. She stated stated she would speak with her manager on discounting the hookah due to the inconvenience. (I don't think this was done, but that's neither here nor there). She finally brought out the hookah. It was much better. The food came out shortly after. Food was hot and good. Chicken tenders were okay. A bit over cooked nothing to complain about. Our waitress came over a few more times to check on us. She was very personable and attentive. The music was cool. Not over powering in volume as some other places so you can talk to the party you are with. Parking was okay. We parked along the street. They also have parking lots. I would check it out if you are in the area for a quick bite/vibe. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this spot. Our server never came back to take our order. She was sitting in a booth on her phone texting. So we decided to leave. We waited for about 20 minutes !! Service is horrible here. read more

We decided to stop by after our flight from Florida. This is the first restaurant we visited in the city. The ambiance was young and vibrant. The music was on point. Where the restaurant is lacking is the kitchens ability to get food out quickly. We had reservations at 12:30pm and it's 1:23pm and we are still waiting on our main meal. Recommend the restaurant hire more kitchen help. On an upside, the truffle fries were AMAZING! read more

Unfortunately they had one flavor of wings, but I'm a big fan of wings so I tried it. In my opinion the sauce was very overwhelming. A little would have went a long way, or a cajun dry rub. Also six wings for $10 is a bit pricey, all meals do include a fountain drink though. The atmosphere was very lively, and it seems like a nice spot to meet up with friends because they have drinks and hookah but I was not impressed by the wings I ordered. read more

Went to Gotti's right after we touched down in Houston from California. It's definitely a vibe. Love that they have a photographer take a photo of you that you can buy when you're done eating. $20, but comes in a nice glass frame so I think it was worth it ‍. The food was really good. The lobster was amazing!! My husband got a ribeye but there was a bone and it was more like a sirloin the steak was super flat like a breakfast steak. ( Pretty sure that was a lie and not a rib eye) Wouldn't recommend the steak, but the fried lobster was yummy!! Only other complaint is they gave us plastic silverware.. that's a negative, fork all flimsy when trying to grab the meat. But the vibe!!! Food was amazing and our server Camryn was amazing! Great service will 100% be back again!

I really wanted to like this place but I just couldn't get past the multiple issues. We came to celebrate a birthday and from the start to the end the stars just dropped. We had a group of 14 for starters. The food was edible but super salty, and some of the food came out cold. The waiter had a positive attitude and didn't show any signs of frustration with us though she was aware we had some issues. On the menu, it states 20% service fee added to parties of 4 or more. They could ONLY split the check 3 ways and charged gratuity on each check.... When you go eat at an establishment you shouldn't have to calculate your own total to ensure that everything is correct......by the end of the meal I was just over it all and the experience was ruined. Not to mention the booth we were sitting at was uncomfortable because there wasn't enough space between the table and the booth... not sure I'll. R Bach read more

Terrible customer service, we were told the wait for food would be 30-35 minutes. It was the worst brunch experience! The music is so loud your ears hurt. You can not talk or hear the person you came with. The drinks are water down I had to ask for a shot to pour in my drink. Great food. Stumbled upon this place on a Sunday after being turned around from Chapman and Kirby. It was loud as hell I can't lie but the music was great and they had it jumping in there. We arrived at 8:20pm for our 8:30pm reservation. We didn't get seated until 9pm and didn't get service until 9:15 after I stopped a server to let them know we hadn't been assisted. Then we were told the kitchen was busy and they weren't taking any orders for 15-20 mins. I advised the server that we had a reservation and were already waiting. They offered us free egg rolls for the inconvenience. Later, we were advised that they didn't have chicken for our pasta. The place is a vibe, but the service isn't where it should be. My food arrived luke warm. The manager did stop by our table and apologize and said he would discount our bill. I'm not sure if I'll give it another try but the place stays packed! Thru charged me a 20% service fee! This should have been on the door upon entry and I dined alone! Grits were good and the crab cake. Ac poor! They had large fans on the floor in the kitchen. Dark inside one of the employees seemed to be dosing off in a booth, the attire of the servers can be better it's not a stop club and a few people walked in and out. 67$ for one drink and two sides for brunch also I was offered a lil extra sauce which I didn't eat it was served in a lil bowl for $2.95 . Not worth the cost at all I could have gone quite a few other places. I had business near by, they have a lot of followers so I tried it but never again! Well, this is a great place for a weekend brunch for the girls or group of friends. This is not a kid friendly place. Visited on a Saturday with my sister and my 2 sons (11 and 4). There is no kid's menu. So you can imagine the demographic that they cater to. Walked in at noon and was immediately seated. They have brunch hours and have a limited menu available during this time. Ordered the catfish and grits and red velvet waffles and chicken. My sis got the lamb chops. The lamb chops were small. They must have gotten those off a baby lamb. I must admit that the food was flavorful. They were seasoned well. The grits would have gone over well too had they not been cold. The red velvet waffles just tasted like waffles with red food coloring. Beware the prices are steep and the portions are small. read more

Gotti's is the epitome of everything being right all at once (insert heart emoji)! We saw some images on Instagram, and thought we would see what the real deal was about! We were not disappointed. Everything was flowing in abundance--food amazing, music bumping, hookah going, and drinks pouring. I had the shrimp and grits, which was pretty delicious. It's not the biggest portion of shrimp and grits, but filling. I left nothing in my bowl, but the shrimp tails. My friend had the chicken and waffles--and he gave the dish a stellar review.. When we talk about abundance and overflow, we also had a mango mimosa tower--This place is on the smaller side, but feels cozy rather than packed. The service was pretty good. Our waitress checked in on us pretty often. read more

Nice brunch spot that plays new age hip hop/rap music. Music is kind of loud, so if you're not into that, maybe think twice. Our server was really sweet; however she failed to let us know that gratuity was already included in the bill. We paid on her hand held device that also did not display included gratuity. So she was tipped very generously. Food took a while to come out but it was delicious. My mom had vegan chickn pasta and I had the catfish, shrimp and dirty rice. Wow. I'm from Pennsylvania here on business. Love small places with cool ambiance. Wait staff was great! Food was delicious.I avoid chains and get rewarded with gems like this. So I really wanted to love this place but it let me down on several points. 1st of all, the parking situation is the worst. The lots around there are like $20-30. There is limited street parking for cheaper but someone was breaking into cars. The place is small, the lights are low/flashing and the music is so loud you can barely hear yourself talk. The food was decent but the portions are small. The beignets are more like donuts. The mimosas are just ok. The orange juice and pineapple ones are the only ones with real juice fyi. They are only serving a limited menu for brunch so many of the items on the menu online aren't offered. And the QR code at the table is the wrong menu too. I met up with some co-workers here Saturday night and it was AWFUL!!! Service was soo TERRIBLE. When I first came in there was no host, but there were workers everywhere. It took about 10 minutes for me to even be seated with a reservation. Then when I was seated, my server took 30-45 minutes just to come greet us and take our drink order. Then he had the audacity to say that the kitchen was backed up...placed the drink order and that took over 30 minutes. The workers were dancing and smoking hookah instead of working. The food was okay. My co-worker drink tasted like syrup. Then the server had the audacity to ask us to leave a review about his service. I think my server was supposed to be a female instead of a male. It was insane. The ENTIRE ordeal was a nightmare. It's crazy because I came here for brunch before and had a great experience, but this time it was soo awful. I will not be coming here at night. I should have went to Pluckers instead.... read more
