First generation polish immigrant here. We stopped by for lunch after hearing about it. We ordered gołąbki, place ziemniaczane, pierogi, and schabowy. Great portions and fairly quick for how small the team is. Cabbage rolls are definitely the star here. Get the pork with tomato sauce (traditional). Meaty, the sauce is delicious, and cabbage soft. Much recommended. Pierogi were good. They do have Magi that's put on them. It's a very umami tasting, Worcestershire style sauce. If you're not a fan, I would recommend they put it on the side. But the pierogi themselves were very tasty. Great ratio of filling to the wrapper. Schnitzel was delicious and massive. Just as good as what you'd get in Kraków. Potato pancakes were good. My mother in law didn't like them because she thought they were too greasy, but that's just how they are. They hit the spot. Overall much recommended and a wonderful addition to the area! Gosia's Rustic Kitchen recently opened in downtown Sheridan. Gosia, the owner, is well known for catering of Polish foods. The cafe is a new venture. Gosia, served us. She greets new customers like family. She told us that everything is made in house, except the Polish sausage (which comes from Chicago). She tells us that she hopes to add decor and real silverware to the cafe soon. The cafe is a work in progress. She is also looking for help, as the cafe has become quickly popular in Sheridan. And for a good reason. The food is comforting and delicious. The dining room is pristine, filled with new tables and chairs. The windows are painted with colorful flowers. The menu is filled with Polish dishes, including Polish sausage and other sandwiches. She has a Kid's Menu, complete with puzzles. I ordered the Golabki (Cabbage Roll Platter). The rolls are huge, stuffed with beef, rice, onions and pepper and topped with tomato sauce. The rolls are served with mashed potatoes. My meal was delicious. My husband had the special, Krokiety (Croquettes). One was pork, the other was cabbage and cheese. The krokiety were served with a large cup of Barsczc (beet soup). The food is authentic and tasty. A glass refrigerated cabinet is filled with grab and go soups, salads and sausage. Another cabinet is filled with tempting fresh cakes. We found street parking. The local internet connection is poor (or maybe it was just down). The roads in Sheridan need some work - watch carefully. I love Gosia's and highly recommend. read more

Nice addition to Sheridan. Food was very good. Employees very nice and the place was spotless. We will certainly come back. It is not clear if you are to pay up front at the register or if they bring the check to you. We waited about 15 minutes for the bill. It can be noisy as there is no decoration on the walls or ceiling to absorb noise. read more

This restaurant is still in it's soft opening phase but I can tell it's going to be fantastic. Very unique Polish menu and the quality of the food was great. Very friendly service. The ambiance is not great but it's clean and the chairs are comfortable. read more

The food is fantastic. I had potato pancakes and apple sauce on the side. Portions are plentiful. The restaurant is very clean.
