If you're a fan of Chef Ramsey and his show, you must visit a Hell's Kitchen! We booked reservations for our family few weeks before coming so checking in and taking us to our table was quick and easy breezy. Staff is very friendly. We were told head chef Alex, show winner, only shows up to the restaurant once a month so he wasn't there unfortunately. The restaurant ambiance is just like the tv show. You get to see an open kitchen where chefs prepares your food order. The red team cooks the appetizers while the blue team cooks the entrees. the only difference here is they aren't completing and screaming. Thanks to other Yelp reviewers, I knew what I wanted to order before looking at the menu. Many complimented on the salmon with the side of Brussels sprouts, and the coconut sherbet three way desserts. I had ordered just that and it was so delicious! I highly recommend it. The crispy skin salmon is seasoned well, and the lentils and bit of salad balanced the plate very well. The roasted brussel sprouts is a hit in my book! The char mixed with the sweet and savory vinaigrette lime seasoning was something. My dessert came with a bit of show when the liquid is poured on the it. We went to Hell's Kitchen to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Its located on the second floor of Caesar's palace past Gordan Ramsey Steak. Reservations are strongly recommended, if you go on a busy night expect to wait for a bit. I booked a reservation through open table and waited about 10 minutes because we were a little early. You are escorted down the stairs or you can take the elevator down to the main dining area. You will see all the past contestants from the show and the red and blue kitchen in the back just like the show. The decor was very elegant as you would expect from a fancy restaurant. We were given menus and drink orders were taken. I had to order the staple food from the show which is the beef wellington and scallops. Presentation was very nice and plating was excellent. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. I really don't eat medium rare steak, but it was not bloody at all. The scallops tasted very good with the pear sauce in the side. The only downside for me was the price as it was very expensive for a family of four people. I expected that, but the total damage was about 450 at the time of this review. This is not something you eat at every week unless you a millionaire. My recommendation to Caesars is to have patrons parking validated if they are eating at one of the restaurants there. We had to pay for the parking and we did not enjoy the casino's. It would nice to have parking included if you are just dining there. Just a thought. I took my family to dinner her in August for my mother's 60th birthday. We were a party of 5 and it was all of our first times at Hell's Kitchen. We sat right near the kitchen but other than the restaurant having two different color lights (red and blue), there was really nothing at all exciting about their dining room. We ordered appetizers - scallops, shrimp cocktail and the meatballs. They were all fresh and delicious. My mom liked the scallops so much that she ordered another one as her entree. As entrees, we had the chicken, beef wellington and short rib. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were our side choices. We all devoured our meals and saved enough room to share the strawberry shortcake and chocolate cake desserts. The server placed a candle in my mom's dessert which was a nice touch. My best friend & I are big Gordan Ramsey fans so we had to try Hell's Kitchen out. We were seated at a booth overlooking the rest of the restaurant. For my wedding anniversary this year I decided to take my wife to Hell's Kitchen. The place is nice. I thought it would be bigger but I guess the one in LA is bigger. I ordered the Chef Ramsey menu and my wife ordered the NY strip, roasted cauliflower and mushrooms. I was expecting to be blown away by the food but I wasn't. The Lobster Risotto I had was good. The best thing I ate all night. The Beef Wellington was good, the filet lacked flavor, the pastry around it and the wine sauce saved it. The dessert (sticky pudding) was delicious. The second best thing I ate all night My wife, the NY strip was over cooked but my wife did say well done. The roasted cauliflower lacked flavor, and the mushrooms were good. My husband took me here for my birthday. As much as we visit the area I have no idea why this was our first time going. The only con about the meal and our service was the wait for the crab cake. Which though extremely disappointing we opted to not ruin the night by complaining about it. Apparently there was some mix up and they forgot it. I'd have to say being forgotten about coupled with it being your special day wasn't a good first introduction to the food or service in that moment. It was pretty small and just ok. It wasn't nasty but it wasn't the best I've ever had either. In my opinion after waiting so long they honestly really could have just kept it. That being said outside of the crab cake this was theeeee best dinner I've ever had here in Atlantic City hands down and I've eaten at a lot of places here. I feel like once the crab cake situation happened someone's inner Gordon Ramsay kicked in lol! The staff became extremely attentive, constantly cleaning our table, refilling our water and bringing us new silverware. I will also add upon entering into the establishment the hostesses are also very welcoming and attentive making sure you watch your step, pointing out where the rest rooms are so you know, and also briefing you on the set up of the restaurant itself. The atmosphere is also relaxed and a bit entertaining. You get to watch as the meals are being prepped, prepared, inspected and bought out. It's almost like being in the studio audience of the show. For our entree's we chose the crispy skin salmon, an extra side of roasted cauliflower and for dessert the sticky toffee pudding. The serving size was perfect and the food was clean and absolutely delicious! The crispy skin salmon (medium well for us) was cooked to perfection! It was moist, light, flavorful with just the perfect little crisp to it. It paired well with the sauce, the mixed greens topping and the pea's and quinoa. It all came together in literally perfect harmony. We left no crumbs lol! I also need to note that the pea's and quinoa were also cooked to perfection. The peas were not over or undercooked, they were firm with the right amount of natural sweetness. The quinoa was loose and not sticky as some places tend to serve it. Chefs kiss to the entree itself! The roasted cauliflower was also cooked perfectly! It almost fooled us as if it was lightly fried instead of broiled. Which is nice if you like fried foods but shouldn't really have it. It was seasoned to perfection and the perfect side to accompany our meal. Now for the surprising wow of the night! That darn sticky toffee pudding! When I read it on the menu I was like what type of mess is that! Seriously! It just didn't sound appetizing to me! Yet it was highly recommended and the reviews we saw literally backed it up. So my husband and I opted to share one. Let me say this.........BELIEVE they hype! It was deeeeeeeelish! I was literally shocker. Imagine if Ginger bread, a molasses cookie and warm butter cake had a threesome lol! But the flavor isn't super gingery. First time here. Chia our wonderful waitress explained the menu and provided great recommendations. She suggested the Beef Wellington which I ordered. My wife ordered the filet mignon. Both dishes cooked to perfection!! We were a party of six for a night of food, imbibing and lots of laughter. I will start out by saying that the table placing in the restaurant was excellent, as the view of the kitchen is available from anywhere within the restaurant. Everything we ordered came out fresh, timely and beautifully plated/garnished. Just excellent execution by our server for the night, Chia. I ordered the lobster risotto as my appetizer and the Crispy skin salmon as my main. While my salmon was slightly over cooked for my liking (i prefer medium rare/medium it was more like medium/medium-well), it was nicely seasoned. The Rack of lamb my partner ordered was also more on the medium-well side than a clean medium. Portions are a nice size, some of them might even be shareable size. One slight downside is that our server did not recommend an amount of side items to for the table. The sides are served family style and we had a bit more food than we needed. read more

I chose Hell's Kitchen Atlantic City for my 40th birthday, expecting a world-class experience. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had -- and I say this as someone who has dined at Gordon Ramsay's restaurants all over the world. For my husband's 40th, we celebrated at Hell's Kitchen in Washington, DC, and the service, food, and overall experience were outstanding. Atlantic City was the exact opposite. Our waitress had no customer service skills, got our order wrong, and never acknowledged my birthday -- not even with the deserts we ordered. The staff member who refilled our water showed more genuine hospitality than our server. It was disheartening and unworthy of the Ramsay name. We had specifically requested a table near the kitchen to enjoy the full "Hell's Kitchen" atmosphere, as we did in DC. Instead, we were placed by a door, far from the energy of the restaurant. On such an important day, it felt dismissive and careless. The food was equally disappointing. I've enjoyed Beef Wellington at multiple Ramsay restaurants worldwide, and this was by far the weakest execution I've ever seen. It lacked the flavor, texture, and refinement that make his signature dish so iconic. If Gordon himself had seen it, he would have shut it down. For a milestone birthday, this felt like a slap in the face. Having traveled and dined at Ramsay's restaurants across the globe, I know what excellence looks like -- and this was nowhere close. I left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and deeply disappointed that such a subpar experience carries Gordon Ramsay's name. read more

Being a fan of the show, I was really excited to dine at Hell's Kitchen in Caesar's AC. Had to make reservation really early to ensure we get table for dinner on weekend. On arrival, they needed few minutes to setup our table. The floor appearance and table setup is very nice. You clearly see the kitchen's fire and ice sides. They even have a spot to take pictures with the chef. Their menu is concise with all the popular dishes from the TV show. The risotto was ridiculously good, with soft tasty lobster on top. The NY strip was a huge steak, but the plate was pretty empty, as it has no sides. The beef Wellington's crust was good, but the inside was cold. The mashed potatoes also doesn't go well with the dish. The scallops were nicely grilled and had great taste. Chicken scallopini didn't look like a dish Chef Ramsey would serve. We ended our dinner on a good note with some good sticky toffy pudding. Even with the pudding, it didn't feel fresh. Overall I had an underwhelming experience. For the price of the dishes, I was expecting much extravagant, gorgeous looking, out of the world tasting dishes. But much of it didn't come to fruition. Our servers were really nice and did an excellent job throughout the dine in experience. I'll most probably stick to Chef Ramsey's pub and grill restaurant for future, also located in Caesar's. read more

For Atlantic City this is a five-star place. So, why the four-star review? It just doesn't live up to the standard set at the Las Vegas location. Simple as at. It is on the second level of Caesars the only thing up there is actually the bar. You need to go down the stais to the restaurant which is kind of odd in itself from there. The main dining area is loud. They do have seating to the side in glassed off areas that make for a much more quiet experience. To start the CAESAR SALAD - parmesan cheese frico, garlic croutons, lemon zest just didn't live up to what I remember being a singularly unique experience in Las Vegas. Someone else at the table had the iconic BEEF WELLINGTON - potato purée, glazed root vegetables, red wine demi-glace, and it looked as good as ever. Meanwhile, I wanted to try something new, so I went for the BRAISED SHORT RIB - yukon potato cake, spinach, crispy fried onion rings, beef jus. Though good I would move on from it on a future visit. The BAKED MACARONI & CHEESE - smoked gouda, crispy prosciutto as a side was simply wonderful. The other issue I had was service. It was super friendly and diligent, but at the same time unacceptably slow. As others have stated the prices are very high. This was EVERYTHING we imagined Hell's Kitchen would be! Food was the best meal I've ever had from start to finish and the service was the best we've ever experienced anywhere! I noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our recent engagement and the staff went out of their way to congratulate us. We also got extremely lucky and were able to see Chef Alex hard at work. Only downside is that many people didn't feel the need to dress appropriately for dining in this type of restaurant and we were sat next to a table with a screaming baby which has the potential to bring down the ambiance of such an awesome place. Hell's Kitchen is a fine dining restaurant chain owned by British chef, Gordon Ramsey. This location can be found inside Caesars Atlantic City on the 2nd level of the casino floor. I was never a fan of fine dining, but my expectations were still high because of Ramsey's reputation. Let me just say, I wasn't impressed. The service was spectacular and the restaurant is beautiful, but I really thought the food would be better. My two friends and I all agreed most of the dishes were lacking flavor. Portion sizes are also rather small for the price you're paying. All in all it was a good experience, but I wouldn't rush to come back here. The service was one of the most attentive and personable I've seen as of late. The decor was beautifully done and I think fans of the show will enjoy it. But the menu is the true highlight. Starting with the "Smoke On The Boardwalk"... I had no idea it would be presented in a smoked up chamber delivered straight to the table. Solid drink. The butter poached lobster truffle risotto had some of the best lobster I've had (just wish there was a better lobster to risotto ratio). We shared the apps - pan seared scallops and lobster risotto - both were velvety and luscious! I couldn't spoon the food on The Foodie's plate fast enough - he was shoveling it in so "fanciful" and fast - ha ha! My hubs ordered the 20 ounce ribeye, I chose the filet, and The Foodie opted for the prix fixe to include the signature Beef Wellington - all were perfectly prepared! Ended up ordered 2 (one for each side of the table and it was the only entree nobody finished) the beef Wellington was a let down too, I've had two home made beef Wellington that I thought tasted better, my friend whom ordered the salmon said it was average or slightly above average but nothing amazing.... Started off with some famous Hell's Kitchen staples: Lobster Risotto was excellent - creamy and delicious, lobster nicely cooked. Only had appetizer and a cocktail at the bar, so will keep this brief! Bar seating on a Friday night in April was easy to come by. Bar seats are very comfy and service friendly and fast. The restaurant is a bit beyond our price range so we came just to try an app and drink. The wagyu meatballs were a good portion for two people, 4 large meatballs with quite good polenta croutons (maybe a bit too melted cheese in the sauce but the meatballs were juicy and not overly breaded). Cocktail was the Paloma which sounded unique on the menu but didn't taste like anything special. All still pretty overpriced. Great experience! Came here for a birthday . 2 of my friends did the HK experience and got the lobster risotto (delicious) and i got the wagyu meatballs (delicious). For entre we all got the beef wellington which was good but maybe a bit overhyped? The pastry puff was a little saggy but the beef and potato puree was delicious!! We also ordered the mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts. Brussel sprouts are a must!! They were so delicious. For dessert we got the sticky toffee which was very decadent and top with a dulce de leche ice cream... such a great combo. Overall the meal was delicious and don't get to pass out when you get the bill. read more
