The only reason I'm giving this dump a star is just to get my review., We let it go once before, but the same thing was done again. We ordered 3 large orders of shrimp fried rice, one with pork in it, yuk! The pork looked like those long cockroaches, gray color, and the rice again, was old, not fresh. I also ordered sweet soy soup, yuk! It looked like dirty weather and had no flavor. All in all I dumped over $70, for what turned out to be trash food. The guy in front of us had 1 hour waiting for his food, lol Honestly and sincerely, save yourself a bad time, avid getting rip off, and stay away from this "Dumo", you'll thank me later on. Thanks for reading my review.

The first sign to leave should've been the complete emptiness on a Saturday night. However, j just figured this was a more take out place rather than sit down. The menu was nothing special, pretty standard Asian dishes (Ex. Sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, pad Thai). My boyfriend ordered the chicken pad Thai, I ordered the BBQ pork fried rice, and a 6 price crab Rangoon to share. On the menu, there was a choice between 4 and 8 piece, but then the cashier told us they only had a 6 piece option. On the menu, the 4 piece was $4.95 and the 8 piece was $8.95. My fried rice indicated $8.95 for the medium portion then the pad Thai should've been $12.95. In total, it should've been around $29/$30 including tax. However, the total came out as around $34. I thought I just added wrong and so we paid. However, after our friend ordered he informed us that the menu prices we looked at were wrong and that the items were actually more expensive. He said that he inquired about his total when his meal came out to be $18 (which was way more than the menu indicated). The cashier apparently told him that we were looking at the old menu and the new menu had updated more expensive prices (SO SKETCHY). When our food finally came, everything was so bland and below average. Pad Thai was tasteless (had to drench in sweet and sour sauce and siracha), my fried rice was not seasoned and the pork was extremely dry (like it had been recooked), plus it didn't have a hint of bbq flavor, then our friends sesame chicken was soggy. Overall, disappointing experience. Usually in my experience, a hole in the wall type of place has awesome food. This is a definite pass for me.

The crab Rangoons are AMAZING as well, which says a lot because I have tried at least 30 in the city. These are top 5. Lastly, beef chow fun was okay. It didn't have much flavor and the beef was tough/hard to bite through so not a fan of that.

I'm…read morenot sure if there has been a change in management or the kitchen, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had here. The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.

I could taste that they were handmade and very flavorful. Second was the charcoal half chicken. The coconut rice was had a light coconut flavor which was good bc it didnt alter the taste of the chicken. I'd skip on the salad and minced beef noodles next time. The noodles were a lil too thick n chewy for me. Salad was nothings special, just eating large chunks of cabbage. The Sparrow Mallorc was also really good and refreshing, not overly sweet. The egg tarts had a creamy delicious custard and the dough was fluffy like a croissant, not crisp like pie. I prefer crisp but would still recommend. I also got the chai carrot cake which is really good. The chai spice compliments the sweetness well and walnut chunks add nice texture . I want to try all their desserts at Bird Bird Bakery bc the flavors are so unique and actually really good, unlike other bakeries that try to use interesting flavors but make it overly sweet. The staff were chill and kind. Pretty laid back, you have to get your own utensils and water. I do love that they have their own hot sauces. The brown one with tamarind was my favorite. Nice decos, not overly showy or fancy. Still family friendly n chill. The bench had nice comfy cushions.

The taco tortilla tastes like it's freshly made in-house, super flavorful, and definitely my favorite part. I got the spicy pork taco this time, and the meat was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick. I also order their bibimbap regularly, and the kimchi beef fries are to die for. I remember coming here a long time ago, and was happy that the flavors have kept up after all this time. I had gotten the Soft Shell Crab Sushi Burrito for my meal as a soft shell crab enthusiast. I liked the extreme crunch with each bite from the tempura flakes on the outside, the fried crab, and vegetables inside. The flavors were nice with the crab and sauce, and a creamy avocado is always welcome in my sushi! I did feel like the messiest person ever, since the outer crunch was flying everywhere each time I peeled the wrapper or took a bite. I also wasn't much of a fan of the jalapeños and felt like their flavor was quite distracting and different that I had to look back at the menu to figure out what was throwing me off. Perhaps another option without the jalapeños next time. My girlfriend got the Shrimp Tempura and Salmon Wafu Sushi Tacos for her meal. These bites were fun and flavorful and quite filling! The sauce and toppings added some extra oomph that made it special even if it was just a different form of a sushi roll. She liked the Salmon Wafu more, as the tempura itself felt pretty standard and like some more rice was needed. The salmon was nice and fresh and was cut into nice big chunks before being covered in some tasty sauce. I had also gotten the Strawberry Lemonade and was pleasantly surprised with their lil concoction. It was just some of their own stuff mixed into some soda, but still a nice a refreshing drink. Quite a yummy spot with a lot more options for us to choose from, so I'm looking forward to another visit! It was great to see that these different forms aren't just a gimmick and that they have some good flavors to them. They also have poke bowls, so that may also be on my list for next time!
