Unfortunately the chicken fried chicken was undercooked. At the time I didn't immediately realize this as the texture seemed soft due to the gravy. It wasn't until later that I recognized the issue and I ended up feeling unwell after the meal. This was very disappointing and ultimately impacted my overall experience. While the service and ambiance were strong positives the food safety concern is significant. I hope the restaurant takes extra care in the kitchen moving forward.

One of them even said, "Let's not cause an issue, just pay the bill and leave." That really stuck with me because clearly I wasn't the only person who felt uncomfortable with how she was acting. I've worked in the restaurant industry myself, so I understand that some days are stressful and not every shift is going to be a good one. But that doesn't mean it's okay to take it out on guests who haven't done anything wrong. I was genuinely looking forward to eating here, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable or like an inconvenience just for being a guest. It's really unfortunate because something as simple as treating people with kindness and respect could have made the experience completely different. One of my team members wanted NA beer, they are out of that too. So many items 86'd for a restaurant that is in a prime area and attached to a hotel. Menu seems to change with the seasons which is nice and I do appreciate their GF options. I doubt we go back, but had a decent meal both times we went. Would say it is not a place for large groups.
