First time here: I ordered the avocado omelette with bacon pieces and egg whites only, and it comes with cheese. I selected no sour cream. I substituted the home fries/hash browns for fresh fruit and pancakes instead of toast. The omelet was cooked well but the down fall was the American cheese they chose to add, it was seriously a slice of kraft American cheese which I ended removing. The avocado slices and bacon where just right. The fruit was sweet and the pancakes were tasty and fluffy. The over all location is okay, older place located near a truck stop with lots of parking spots available. The greeter and waitress were both very nice as well. Love this place, great for a cheap breakfast. I get the same thing everytime I go here. Fresh squeezed oj, reg. coffee, french toast. They have great biscuits and gravy but the real pay off is if you order a oj they have a large juicer and fresh squeeze the orange juice. Great stuff. Good corn beef hash and also good ham! I noticed the big rigs lined up next to this BREAKFAST ALL DAY ad as my stomach growled again. I immediately knew I had to check it out. I walked in and was greeted by Amelia the waitress. Amelia was great and made sure I had everything I needed. She came by a couple times to refill my drink. That's a must for a good tip. I am a sucker for corned beef hash and to my delight it is on the Early Special. It was perfect and served with eggs, hash browns and toast. The salsa though, was the kicker. Yum! U go about 1/2 miles and it's on the right. It is also a part of a truck stop. Parking is easy. Now the food. It was about 6:30a when I stopped in ( my stomach and me were on east coast time) 3 people in the place. I sat in a booth and was brought a Specials menu and a regular menu. The service was just ok, nothing to brag about as I ran out of my drink and was provided or asked if I wanted another one so I had to drink the wifeys. This is a good breakfast place to stop by. They have friendly service and the place seems well kept. The restrooms were clean however the soap was mainly water. On to the food, I had the waffle and 3 chicken strips and it was really good. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The waffle was soft and broke apart nicely. We also had the Machaca with rice and beans which was alright. The meat had quite a bit of fat. The rice and beans were good. We also ordered some fried zucchini which was pretty good. The ranch was tasty and zucchini's were nice and crunchy but also soft on the inside. Overall it was a nice visit. Honestly, I really wanted to come here specifically because it was a run-down looking, quasi-truck stop diner in a not-so-good part of town. If this place was a person, its friends would say it has a good personality. Definitely not fancy inside, so you will never, ever feel over-dressed. This is definitely a local's spot. We were craving some hearty grub after our 1st night at We R NRG at the Nos Event Center. This place wasn't too far from our hotel and the pictures looked good. This is definitely a no-frills type of spot, so dont expect some fancy, hipster brunch spot. I ended up getting their breakfast combo special, which gave you the option of waffles, pancakes or french toast plus breakfast potatoes, eggs your way, and choice of bacon, sausage or ham all for only 9 bucks! That was definitely a steal, so I ended up choosing the pancakes, country potatoes, eggs over medium and half sausage and half bacon. Everything was deliciously made and they even brought out some homemade salsa. I'd been dying to try this place since my aunt moved to San Bernardino. At first glance we though this was mainly a place for truckers. Bacon was really good as stated by our pork eaters. I also ordered the chicken breast and eggs and the chicken breast although flavorful had a few dry spots. Everyone loved the pancakes. The pic has a order of ones that came out too dark for me but mine were light and fluffy. The flavor of the pancakes was good. The country potatoes were awesome. The service inside was great by cooks and the waitress inside. However the older lady was a bit unwelcoming and just not very hospitable. She was very to the point and kinda brushed me off when asking a question about the bill. I can appreciate they made an exception for my son who doesn't like eggs. So thank you for that. Also I cannot say that I liked paying 7 for a pancake special when I can get the Same thing at Denny for 4.49. This place is convenient as it's close to residential areas and wasn't as chaotic as Denny's is on a Sunday morning. And oh yes they have flavored coffee creamer and that's a huge bonus. In spite of this, I think the owners of Goody's have done a good job on their interior. Green seems to be their favorite color. My friend Kurt and I went to Goody's at about 6:30am (they're open at 6am) and had breakfast. Kurt ordered the eggs benedict and I had the chicken fried steak. Both of our meals were under $10 after taxes, and like I said before the portions were very large. In terms of quality I think Goody's ranks up there with Martha Green's located in Redlands. I like my egg's "lightly scrambled" and the chef at Goody's made my eggs perfectly. I'm definitely going back to Goody's again to try their dinner items. I am in there right now. I am semi retired. I have driven past this place night after night, & I wondered what kind of restaurant it is. So I decided to stop in one morning. It looks like I have found a real jackpot. There's great service here. There's a huge crowd, and this place is obviously extremely popular. I like the location and the atmosphere. This is truly a place for working class people and from what I can tell the food is wholesome and it looks great. I am having the steak and eggs. It tastes great. I am only giving this place 4 stars because if I give a place 5 stars a lot of times the Yelp algorithm thinks that it is a fake review. However, this is the real thing and I highly recommend it. I tried this spot for breakfast today after reading the Yelp reviews and it was awesome. I had the Country skillet with added green peppers and onions and home fries instead of hashbrowns. I wouldve peferred my eggs over easy but the scrambled ones were good. 2 fluffy golden brown pancakes on the side for a dollar were a pleasant addition. Best part about my meal was that I wasn't rushed nor felt rushed to leave afterwards. Overall a good experience and I was full for hours :) read more

I went in with my family in the morning to try their breakfast, and their breakfast special prices were great. I ordered the $4.99 plate that came with 1 pancake, 2 egg, 2 bacon ( or 1 sausage). The portion size is the size you would think of, for something of that price. The egg to me seemed like it was literally only 1 egg however I got it scrambled so I could be wrong. I also ordered an orange juice, says freshly squeezed, but I was not really impressed. I did not know that the 12oz glass of OJ was gnna come out to around $3 either, that kinda shocked me.
