I normally don't leave bad reviews but I was very unhappy with my experience today. I pulled up to the drive through speaker and no one came on for about 5 minutes, then she told me to hold on and another 5 minutes went by. Finally they took my order and told me she would have my total at the window. I pull up and the lady didn't come to the window for what seemed like 10 minutes. When she finally came out and I tried handing her my debit card she said "oh wait you don't have any cash with you?" I told her I was sorry and did not have cash so she just took my card and closed the window. After another 5-10 minutes of sitting there she opens the window without saying a word, hands me my card with no receipt detailing the total and gives me my one simple bean and cheese burrito which ended up having cilantro all over it (when I told them I am allergic and can't have any). First visit to Goody's. I ordered a burger and fries. Burger ok, nothing special. Fries were served cold and had to ask for warm fries. My wife ordered roast beef sandwich. She rarely complains but told me it was worst sandwich she's ever been served in a restaurant. The "roast beef" appeared to be old shredded overcooked pot roast instead of fresh roast beef. Sandwich was gross and was not edible. Would have told someone but could not get anyone's attention so we left. A total waste of our money. read more

Terrible food, I've been there about five times because it's on my way to work, food disappoints every time. Cheeseburger had no salt and tasted like a dirty grill, fries and zucchini's taste like dirty frying oil, pastrami sandwich is too salty and tastes old, the breakfast sandwiches are dripping in oil. Bored of the typical chain eating establishments we were happy to come upon Goody's Cafe and it's good Yelp reviews. It's a very nice hamburger stand type restaurant with a drive-thru. They have an extensive menu and serve breakfast all day. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is clean. My husband had a Philly cheesesteak, which he enjoyed and I really liked my BLT. The onion rings were delicious also :) One of my sons had pancakes and the other ordered a hot dog. No complaints from any of us, in fact it was a rather quiet dinner as we all devoured our food! Our only complaint with Goody's is the price. For a BLT combo (add onion rings and a drink) I paid almost $10 and my husbands combo was over $10!!! While the food was good, no BLT with onion rings and drink will ever be worth $10. read more

Excelent breakfast burrito. I can't speak about anything else on the menu or regarding the place what-so-ever, I came from LA and this place is probably one of those places I'll never see again just because of how remote it is from everywhere I usually am, but I'd recomend anyone who wants a good breakfast to make your first stop Goody's. Breakfast burrito had bacon, sausage, and ham, and was super cheap, and super good. Portion was a great size and came with a cup of salsa. Fantastico! Solid. Perfect word for this establishment. Very large menu and relatively prompt service. We had the gamut during our four days, corned beef hash, country fried steak, pancakes, omelets, etc. never had anything but breakfast though. One thing that was extra fantastic was the coffee. Their coffee was really, really good. We really enjoyed the coffee! We will be back next year as it hits the spot just right! Nothing was bad and all seemed fresh. read more

My last two visits to this Goddy's have been below average. The first time I complained about my order being messed up after going through the drive thru and making it all the way home before eating my meal. I called in and the manager tried to make me feel dumb over the phone for complaining. My last visit I was disgusted with the cleanliness the employees were using to handle my food. The lady that was working the cash register sneezed into her hands, picked and wiped her nose(Note: she never washed her hands). Then she went and picked up a white bag to put my meal in which she was oddly holding up to her face . Almost breathing into my to-go bag when she was obviously coming down with a cold or flu. I ended up just driving off and throwing my food away because of the way the manager was last time I talked with him. Ive had many great experiences at this goodys. Checked yelped prior to going on vacay to Indio and found this place as the highest rated one dollar sign establishment. My family and I were quite surprised. For 4 adults and 2 kids the total was just under $40, and that was mainly from making the meals combos. This location is a drive-thru and I did not know it was possible to have so many menu items while keeping the taste up to par. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with avocado and opted for curly fries. The curly fries are identical to jack in the box, which is amazing! Love this place and would definitely go back if i was ever in the vicinity. read more

Drive thru experience. So we approached the box and the older lady at the order box clearly didn't want to be a work. We got burgers, I got the Western bacon burger and my partner got the Avocado cheese burger, we usually get these burgers and of course their crunchy yet soft fries. I ate the burger on our way home and it kind of fell apart but that's most likely due to me eating without a plate but I took some lettuce out and it stayed together better. The food is "pretty good" every time we've came to this location especially the fries. We asked the older lady for some Cholula and she hastily said "We don't have none. . . . . . what's that?". Kind of weird how they didn't have any but she didn't know what it was. She just closed the window right after handing us our food and started texting. They fry the tortilla underneath, again depends on how you like it. "Spanish rice" full flavored. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars, there have been several occasions where they've forgotten to give us food in our orders. Most recently they forgot our chili cheese fries and my dad sent me and my sister to go get them. The lady in the front was rude, and said that my dad had gotten a complicated order and that he did not order the chili cheese fries. When we mentioned that the bill was more than it should have been, she said "Our food is expensive". Great place. I am on a road trip and this was a good stop. The food came put super quick. Had the goody omelette and pancake combo. Excellent food. Made it fresh in front of us. The only thing this place has going for them is the big portions they give out but it's really an overpriced fast food place. Customer service does not exists here and the customer seems to always be wrong. Food is pretty basic and nothing you couldn't find for cheaper at the Mexican place across from them or at Carl's. I just moved here from Vegas and my husband suggested we come here. I ordered the pastrami sandwich added cheese, when it came it was full of meat which is fantastic, but couldn't taste it because of the old musty taste from the bread and the artificial chemical taste from the cheese. I needed to take all the meat out just to taste it, at least that itself was decent. My husband Gyro was no better it was half the size of a normal gyro we would get from any other place.
