They changed my oil, rotated my tires, and replaced a headlight bulb in 1 hour for $50 . . . that's just about as good as it gets.

I was visiting Bend form California and had stopped at the Outlets across the street when in noticed my tire was low. I saw this shop across the street and drove over to see if they would let me check my pressure. Steve told me to pull up to the first stall and they would check it for me. Steve came out from behind his desk and checked and adjusted all my tire pressures on my tires. I asked him what I owed him and he nothing, I could come by anytime to have them checked. I own an Auto Repair Shop in San Francisco and it is great to have Steve in my industry, taking care of both regular customers and the one time customer. If Steve is not the owner of this shop, the owner has a great employee. Keep up the good work. read more

Although I didn't purchase anything from this Goodyear, an employee of theirs helped my family during a pinch. Our car would not start, as we were leaving to head home from a vacation in Sunriver. We happened to be right across the street from Goodyear, and asked an employee to give us a "jump." They were more than happy to help. We got started and were on our way. If I need auto help again, while I'm in Bend, I would visit this place first. read more

I absolutely love these guys! Travis is so easy to work with, very honest, and realistic with prioritizing much needed maintenance vs. maintenance that can wait. Pricing is very reasonable. Travis has always been very sensitive but also up front about high cost repairs as well - he proactively informs you before you get your car in if you can expect a bigger bill than usual for the requested service and he is great at explaining why. Wow, I mean wow. I was having trouble with my tires and went to Hyundai dealership on Hwy 20 to ask for help. The air was low in one of the tires was all, but I was not sure. Now, keep this in mind, I purchased this Hyundai at the Hyundai Dealership on Hwy 20. They turned me away because they didnt have a work order for my car and they were too busy to take any more work. Wow. So I went to Goodyear, south side of Bend Or, told them the trouble I was having and they not only checked my tires and aired them up but they also checked the sensors !! All free of charge! And all their bay doors were open and full, plus someone was working on an RV outside the building. Wow. Best bunch of guys at Goodyear ! And you are sure to get great customer service, and they will fix the problem the first time, no monkey business from them. read more

I've loved these guys since I switched to them from Gil's and Discount Tire. They've always treated me fairly and when there's been a problem, they've accepted responsibility and taken care of the issue. However, last week, when I went to switch out my studs, I no longer believed they put the customer first. Not a single staff member wore a mask. The employee who get into my car, NO MASK, and didn't sanitize his hands before touching my car, steering wheel, etc. The owner at the counter who took and returned my keys, NO MASK and didn't sanitize his hands before giving me my keys. While they're certainly free to live mask free if they so chose, they should put a sign on the front door, WE CARE ABOUT OUR FREEDOM, NOT YOUR SAFETY, and I could have opted to go elsewhere. But I'd already entered the establishment by the time I discovered no safety precautions were in place. So if you're reading this, you have been warned. read more

TERRRIBLE SERVICE AND INCOMPETENT TECHNICIANS. I scheduled an oil change for 9am. I arrived on time and was told there would be a wait to get my vehicle in. At 10 am I was told they could start on my vehicle. I pulled my vehicle into the shop bay. I watched the technician through the window in the door leading to the shop area. The technician working on my vehicle did not appear to know what he was doing. The Technician was in such a hurry to get my vehicle out of the shop that he removed the filter before he drained the oil from the oil pan. This resulted in motor oil pouring out all over the ground, my tires and splattering all over the undercarriage of my vehicle. When I brought this to Steve's attention, tall bald man working the front desk, he stated "I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose." Steve never went in to the shop area to check on my vehicle and he didn't ensure the situation was being handled properly. He just simply dismissed my concerns and ensured me the technician was not doing this "on purpose." After the technician finished changing my oil he attempted to clean the splattered oil off of my tires and undercarriage. His efforts only served to make the matter worse spreading oil all over the paint on my vehicle where the technician placed his oil soaked ands and rags. This technician truly appeared to be lost and absolutely clueless. I backed my vehicle out of the service bay and parked it in front of the shop. My vehicle was covered in motor oil. One would think I hit a 50 gallon drum of motor oil. I went inside the Goodyear lobby to pay for the oil change. I again spoke with Steve at the front desk. Steve once again stated "I'm sure He (technician) didn't do it on purpose." Again, Steve didn't bother ot come outside and actually look at my vehicle. Nor did he offer an apology and inquire as to what he could do to make the situation right. I asked Steve to charge me so that I could be on my way and he responded "I don't feel right charging you." I left at after that. Steve and the other Goodyear employees I came into contact with seemed to be overwhelmed and without a clue about what they are doing. Excellent, honest and fair priced service! Travis, Ezra and Steve manage this business flawlessly and professionally. Look no further for service and maintenance of your vehicles. Ive been a loyal customer since 1999 with no issues whatsoever. About half the price to change an alternator or starter here over dealership. Tires here are of much better quality than Schwabs (particularly those poor quality Federals that are noisy and worthless on snow, ice and rain). Goodyear sells Hankook Optimo H727 which are superb all season Tires for central Oregon. Very content and pleased with this establishment. read more

These guys are great. A locally owned store (I believe father and son), fast service, friendly faces, all that one would expect. They will meet almost anybody's prices, and yes, you might save a little at some other box store, but I think the extra $10 is worth it to buy from a local dealer. read more

What a wonderful shop and great group of guys. I made an appointment to get my studded tires off today, best part, was I got to make an appointment instead of getting there at 6am and taking my chances at Les Schwab or Nelson Tire Factory.....so I get there a few minutes early, I am met in the parking lot by a guy who had my appointment papers, he took my keys and my truck right in......I was amazed. I sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes, WOW....REALLY, ITS DONE. And the icing on the cake $65.00 bucks.....$15.00 dollars cheaper than Nelson, not sure what Les Schwab charges but again, WOW....NEVER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. thanks Guys....I appreciate the great service read more

I brought my Honda Civic in for winter tire changeover. When I returned to pick up my vehicle there was a half dollar sized puddle of chewing tobacco and saliva on my cloth driver side seat. More spots of spit and tobacco were found on my roof, door jam and driver's side mirror. I approached the supervisor on duty and asked him how this could have happened while my car was being serviced. He said that he can't imagine any of his employees doing such a thing. I asked him if any of his employers chew tobacco on the job and he said several do. Do the math: 2+2=4. They used some upholstery cleaner to take care of the spot on the seat and they did refund me for the cost of the tire changeover however they never took responsibility for the mishap and kept saying "I just can't imagine how that happened". Very simple- some 18 year old kid chewing tobacco in the shop who was driving my car, missed when he spit and it got all over my car. When I got home and examined the car there was tiny bits of chewing tobacco all over the interior. I had just detailed the car a few days earlier. Another issue I have had with this shop is that when they take the air pressure valve caps off the valve stems, they don't replace them with the ones they take off. I had purchased some metal silver tipped valve stem caps to match the rims. When my car was returned 3 out of 4 of the tips were the cheap plastic kind. Once again- I asked the manager how this could happen and he just scratched his head nor did he offer to buy new caps even though there was clear evidence to the contrary. I cannot in good conscience recommend this Goodyear shop to anyone. At least for me- they haven't been reputable. read more

Took the new van into Goodyear today to get studs put on it for the winter season. Now this is a brand new van, 1000 miles, perfect condition... They call me 2 hours later and say "it is ready, come get it"... So we go pick it up, and pull out onto 3rd street and my dash is lighting up, error codes everywhere about the TPMS is not working. So, a block down 3rd street I am "whipping a shitty" (for all you ignorant people, that is a "U" turn) and I park it in front of the front door. I walk in, stand in line and 3 people later the dude says "can I help you". "WELL YES AS A MATTER OF FACT..... My DIC is telling me you fucked something up".... "Who are you" (the dude took my thousand dollars 5 minutes ago and can't remember who I am???? "OH well yah, we could not get the right rear sensor to transmit anything" the dude says... "NO SHIT SHERLOCK", I told him, "it worked fine 2 hours ago when I let you put tires on it"..... "UH WELL, it does only have 1000 miles on it, how far did you drive it?"... SO ASSWIPE, "4 BLOCKS if that makes any difference"... Long Story Short, I ripped some ass, and an hour later I get the call that it is fixed, and "I guess we broke the sending unit when we first took off the tire" comment.. SO EVERYONE THAT DOES NOT GET THE DRIFT.... These asswipes KNEW THEY FUCKED IT UP, THEY KNEW IT WAS NOT RIGHT, AND THEY LET ME TAKE IT OFF THE LOT KNOWING DAMN WELL THEY HAD FUCKED IT UP AND DID NOT SAY ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT IT.... 9 HOURS LATER AND I AM STILL PISSED OFF.... read more
