This is one of my favorite burger places. I recommend the onion petals. I had the Colleti's Smokehouse burger, it was excellent.

Shakes, burgers and fries - a variety to choose from and all delicious! I had the Melt burger, two cheeses, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms on a tasty bun. The meat was juicy, not dry and the bun was tasty too. Chili fries were nice and gooey with yummy chili. The shakes looked delicious and lots of flavors to choose from. I've always known about this spot, passed by a few times whenever I'm around the Georgetown area and finally one afternoon, right after work, had a craving for a burger. Since, it isn't too far away from my work I decided to make the short trek. I ordered home fries and their Prez Obama burger which is their version of a smoked bacon burger topped with blue cheese. The burger patty was cooked perfectly with a nice charred flavor and the potato bun was soft, fluffy and sweet. I'm leaving a review for one thing and one thing only: the burnt marshmallow milkshake. I'm always intrigued by creative flavors, but I'm amazed when a nostalgic flavor (like burnt marshmallow or cereal milk) is absolutely nailed. The law of diminishing returns does not apply to this milkshake--after every sip, you have the recurring thought, "Did it really taste that good? I gotta try it again." It's absolutely incredible, and you won't be disappointed so long as you order this milkshake. And don't cheat yourself out of a great experience. Get the regular size. read more

Ordered the Prez Obama burger. The burger itself was great, I think it could use a little bit less grease because all of it including the wrap was soaked in it. It also felt a bit small compared to five guys for example but it was really tasty so I can't complain there. Their lemonade is super concentrated and unless you enjoy something that's really really sour you should water it down by at least 30%. read more

I went for the burgers. I left wanting more! I knew as soon as I saw the smoky restaurant I was in the right place. It reminded me of my mom's kitchen from when I was kid. She would form the fresh ground beef and cook them on her favorite aged cast iron skillet. I ordered the Spike's Sunnyside burger. Delish! The egg was runny, but not overwhelming. The brioche bun was nicely toasted. I look forward to visiting again. I also had a side order of fries. I wasn't impressed, but like I said, I wasn't there for the fries. read more

This place serves great burgers and fries. It's very filling, very decent portion sizes, and quality of the food is great. I had the good stuff melt burger with the snack fries. Presentation is not the best, but the taste makes up for it! I loved their fries and their wide selection of sauces ranging from chipotle, sriracha Mayo, to mango, etc. This place is good for large groups; they have a table big enough for about 15-20 people. Tip: They have two sizes of fries so make sure to ask for SNACK fries, otherwise they'll give you the bigger size and that's just way too much to finish by yourself. read more

This is where you go to get a delicious gourmet burger in a casual setting! Most burgers here will set you back just under $8, just for the burger. There are options to add fries and a soda or shake with your burger for ~$5. I ordered the Prez Obama Burger which has bacon, onion marmalade, blue cheese & horseradish mayo. I loved the onion marmalade with the burger!! My burger came squished with most of the toppings on one side, and it was pretty small for what I was expecting considering the price. It was delicious though! The fries were a bit too oily with a less crunch than I usually go for, but I loved dipping them in the various dipping mayos that Good Stuff Eatery has! My favorite was the mango mayo which is a tiny bit sweet with a bit of mango flavor coming through - it was so good! My next favorites were the horseradish mayo and then the Old Bay mayo. This is the only place where you can actually get me to eat mayo. Overall, I would be willing to come back and give Good Stuff Eatery another try. Next time I'll also try a shake. Service was extremely fast, which my group appreciated on our lunch break. I ordered a honey mustard chicken sandwich and a side of fries. Portion was filling. My favorite part was the sauce bar. The food was amazing, and the service was extraordinary. My sister and I had an incident that occurred (not related to the restaurant) where a man had approached us in an aggressive manner. The owner happened to have been sitting next to us at the tables outside and insured if we were okay. Following that, a worker graciously brought out milkshakes on the house for us and apologized on behalf of the incident, even though it had nothing to do with the restaurant. Although due to our current environment dining indoors is not an option, they do offer street side dining tables perfect for people watchers. The first thing I noticed that set this joint apart from other burger places is that the menu options are very unique, take for example my order of the Prez Obama Burger and the Toasted Marshmallow Milkshake. These were definitely firsts for me, and I loved the experience. The burger combined both sweet and savory which paired well with the creaminess of the shake. While I do wish the burgers and shakes were a bit larger for their price, I think this is compensated by their cool sauce bar which, similar to my order, offered very unique flavors again. Definitely added a ton of excitement to my fries, which themselves were fried very well (crispy on the outside and not wilting, while maintaining a fluffy interior). The only part of the fries that was disappointing is that I got some very short fries that looked like leftover bits from the frier. This place is incredible -- I walked over to M Street after work debating this or Five Guys, but opted to try Good Stuff since I had never been there before. I got the cheese burger, a mini moo Oreo shake and a small side of fries. All of it was impeccable! Use to love it, now I can live without. On numerous occasions (even when quiet) they've gotten my order wrong. Today I said my order 3 times and I asked for a simple bun exchange and it was wrong. This place really delivers on the flavor! I also love the wide variety of sauce options they offer; my personal favorite is the sriracha mayo. Although I love that they offer a lettuce wrapped burger, I think they would benefit from using a different type of lettuce. My lettuce wrapped burger was quite soggy and because it was made out of two separate leaves, all the toppings snuck out of the sides. Before I start my raving review, I want to start off my stating something kind of disturbing. I used the bathroom first thing when I got here. I ordered a burger, fries and a shake. This place is so good. The burgers are so juicy and their fries are so crispy. Their milkshakes are a must! I ordered the Vietnamese coffee milkshake and I highly recommend it. It almost tastes like a tiramisu cake in luscious and velvety liquid form. Their fries are a hit or miss. I was lucky to get their new batch of fries so mine were out of the world delicious. However, my friends' fries were old, soggy and burnt. They ordered right before me so I think they got the old fries that were sitting around to be bought. I, on the other hand, received the fresh batch of golden fries. Located on a strip of restaurants, my family and I visited our last night in DC having already tried out two other places previously. The shakes are what drew me in and thus I ordered the popular marshmallow shake along with a chocolate for my daughter. For the burger, I went with the Colletti's Smokehouse Burger which comes with Applewood bacon, sharp Vermont cheddar and fried Vidalia onion rings with chipotle BBQ sauce. My wife went with the Prez Obama Burger that consisted of Applewood bacon, onion marmalade, Roquefort cheese and delicious horseradish mayo sauce. My daughter had a regular burger in a lettuce wrap. We grabbed one order of fries as well. While we awaited for our meal, a crazy thunderstorm hit with hail pounding on the cars parked on the street. One customer commented how he has never seen them so large but this California boy has seen golf ball sized hail many times. We grabbed our food from the counter when it was ready and ran upstairs to eat it. I was surprised by how small the burgers were when we removed them from the bag. My party was good but really was nothing more than a Carl's Jr. Western (single) Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was good and very enjoyable but not worth the $8 fee. Again, I could have got the same thing from Carl's with an extra patty at almost half the price. Now my wife's burger was very good. So good, I regretted not getting it. The horseradish tang was perfect. She enjoyed it so much so that by the time I got a bite, it was down to two left. The French Fries were alright with nothing special. As mentioned in other DC area reviews, the ranch was horrible and gag worthy. I stuck with Heinz. Would I come back here? Sure. The marshmallow shake was good but the chocolate was better. The Obama Burger was so good that it alone wound bring me back. I wouldn't bother with the fries, though. read more

Out of all the Good Stuff Eateries I have tried, this one is probably my favorite one! I have never had a bad experience at this Georgetown location. Despite the long line, it goes by so fast and there's always seating upstairs! That's some GOOD STUFF I tell you! My two favorites are the steakhouse and prez Obama burger. They are extra generous with the bacon for the Obama burger!! I also tried the blazin barn and I just wasn't a fan as other people are! I like the concept and Asian flavors they use, but am not convinced! Will always stick to Obama next time! Their combo sounds like a great deal - mini shake and fries (it really is.. For how good the food is!), but you need to know that it comes out to 13-14 dollars. Just because it says burger + 4.30 or something like that, that doesn't mean it'll be cheap! Fools me every time but I keep coming back! And lastly, I just truly enjoy the little things to this place. The sauces - pineapple and sriracha are my personal favorites. These have the right amount of sweetness for any burger! In addition, the village fries are always crisp to perfection and the shakes are always spun well. I always get the toasted marshmallow or the flavor of the month. Flavor of the month is a hit or miss sometimes, but still good! They need to bring back the cranberry shake! 3.5 stars. It is their pre-opening evening today (7/27) and a practice run. The staff were all working very hard and the food was delicious! I liked the Farmhouse Cheese Burger. The fries with thyme was okay. Nice dining space upstairs with a few large screen TVs. Downstairs, they have a "dipping bar" where you can choose and try so many different dipping sauces! How nice! The owner of Good Stuff reached out to me and was very gracious and apologetic for the experience. He clarified that they were testing a new potato from Maine (due to COVID and summer rains impacting the supply of their regular spuds) and weren't pleased with the results given the feedback. I did feel a bit bad as I had a feeling it might be COVID related but glad they took it constructively! They've found a much better substitute so the fries are back to being great! read more

I got the hot chicken sandwich and cheese fries and it was very tasty. I crave chicken sandwiches wherever I go and this one was definitely the best one I had on this trip. I also go lemon meringue milkshake. Thought it was gonna be to much lemon but it wasn't. Got my dad a turkey burger, that was pretty bomb from the bite I had. The service was nice and easy. I was actually expecting the burgers or sandwiches in general to be massive but it was decent sized. Ordered their new hot chicken sandwich and it wasn't spicy. Luckily I also ordered a burger...Sunnyside which has the egg in it. That was delicious!!!! Also ordered village fries on the side and that was interesting. Different spices were added to it and I guess you can say that sets them apart from other burger joints around the area. They have different sauces/condiments that would switch up the flavor in your food which was pretty awesome and tasty. read more

Ordered a steakhouse burger for myself. Was oily on the outside, dry on the inside. Had no much taste in it. Fries were good taste-wise, but greasy. Onion petals vere terrible - it was a fried chunk dripping with oil. Haven't even finished one - wasted money. Greek salad was very good and fresh (had as a side). Overall dissapointed. My boyfriend got a burger with an egg, wasn't bad, but greasy. Size wise burgers / portions were rather on the smaller side. Paid 40$, left having mixed feelings. Was expecting more from such an occupied place. I guess the location does the trick. Would not come back. read more

Best burgers, fries, and shakes in DC. I don't even really know what to say beyond that - I've truly not had a better burger experience anywhere else since moving here (and we eat a lot of burgers). In fact, I may have actually eaten the best burger of my life today. We ordered: The Steakhouse Burger The Prez Obama Burger Fries Key Lime Pie milkshakes (shake of the month) We accidentally swapped burgers and ate each other's, but my husband assured me the Prez Obama was really delicious. I enjoyed every single bite of the Steakhouse Burger, with sautéed mushrooms, fried onions, emmenthaler Swiss cheese, and Steakhouse mayo and would absolutely order it again (though I now have a mission to try every sandwich on the menu). The fries rival McDonald's - I'm not saying they're similar because they're not, but they too have crack laced in them because they're the best damn fries I've had (and the unlimited dipping sauces don't hurt - try the mango and sriracha next time you're in). The shakes were magnificent. In fact, we enjoyed our food so much, my husband headed downstairs and ordered a second burger for us to share - Spike's Sunnyside. It was also extremely delicious, but I preferred the Steakhouse Burger overall. This place is delicious! The variety of sauces are amazing, the burgers are cooked perfectly, the shakes are to die for, and they give you plenty of fries. I've been multiple times and will continue to return. The food is a little pricey but again it's worth what you pay for. The service is pretty speedy. My friend and I decided to stop here to get some milkshakes. The location is near Georgetown waterfront. When you first enter, it looks like there is no seating anywhere but right up the stairs is the seating area. I ordered the salty caramel kiss milkshake and she ordered the toasted marshmallow milkshake. These milkshakes are THICKKKKK like extra THICKKKK. So if u like thick milkshakes this is the perfect place for you! Like it literally tasted like there was barely any milk in the shake. I usually like mine medium thick. The caramel shake was pretty good! It pretty much tasted like a vanilla shake with caramel drizzle. Not too sweet with just the right amount of caramel. Price for the small shake (mini moo) was about $5. A little on the high side but expected since it's in DC. My friend only drank about half her shake because it was thick for her, but she said the flavor was good! Only complaint is the size of the straws for the milkshakes, i feel like for such thick shakes they need bigger straws. The straws are so thin, they barely suck up the shake. I had to use the straw as a spoon in order to enjoy the shake. Other than that, I'll definitely come back again for their shakes and to try a burger next time! read more
