    16" Piggy Smalls Mafia

Yup, best pizza in Dallas so far! Just finished the HYROX race at the convention center and after destroying my body for an hour and a half, I knew I wanted to destroy some pizza and whiskey. This place DEFINITELY did not disappoint. The place was clean, staff were awesome, and the food was . If I lived in the Dallas area, this would definitely on my weekly rotation. Looking forward to my next visit! (Pictures is the Piggy Smalls Mafia and a Woodford on the rocks.)

This is now my favorite pizza spot in Dallas!! It's so good! I've had it about 5 times in the past 3 months. Everything in the menu is delicious, the crust is perfect and they aren't stingy with the toppings. Last time I went, they accidentally messed up another tables pizza and couldn't serve it to them due to an allergy so they gave it to us! We scored a whole pizza to go on the house. They're very cool and chill in there. The spot itself is small but not cramped. Highly recommend checking it out.

Got to-go for our first time. Mistakes happen, and when we got home noticed 2 main toppings were missing from a pizza. They closed when we noticed so had to just deal with it but a huge inconvenience. We arrived early and got a drink at the bar and customer service was great! I want to return to dine-in because the atmosphere was clean and nice.

Charred just enough to be crisp but not burned

Wow.... I am impressed. I live downtown, home of overpriced chain pizzas, artisanal oblong cracker crust appetizer pizzas, and others that are completely flavorless and/or overpriced for what you get. From a guy whose childhood was spent around pizza in the PA/NJ/NY area, there are only a handful of REALLY GOOD pizza spots... and Good Side is one of them. Saturday afternoon on TX/OU weekend, I found this place and decided to give it a shot. Ordered The Capone.. 16in with Pepperoni and Sausage (from Jimmy's Food Mart, which that alone sold me). Arrived at the pickup time, and they were boxing it up. Nice vibe, the lady bartender was very friendly in bringing my order. I live only a few minutes away, and I was highly impressed how it still had that great crunch on the first bite. Crust full of flavor, beautiful char. Sauce had great flavor and in the perfect amount. Cheese was great, pepperoni was perfect, sausage was amazing. Best pizza I've had in this area in over a year. I highly recommend it. Oh, and they have a copy of the painting from Goodfellas on the wall.. nice touch!

Good Side has become one of my go-to spots in Deep Ellum. The pizza is great - flavorful sauce, good cheese, and a crust that's actually worth finishing. I'm weirdly loyal to their salad too; it's always fresh, crisp, and big portions. The drinks are great! I always start my night here with a few cocktails whether it's before a game or a concert. When Sam is behind the bar, everything runs smoother - he's quick, pays attention, and makes you feel taken care of even when it's busy he still remembers my usual order. Overall, it's an easy place to relax, eat well, and have a couple drinks without any hassle.

Keir was great! Sam is awesome. Great cooks back there!! Pizza tremendous. Same owners or partners as the Willcall place down the road. They also have great food!! Smooth on the inside. Great music and just right vibes.

Great pizza!! By far up there with the heavy hitters in Dallas. Love the artwork on the walls. Service was great the waitress was polite and would converse and since we went in the midday while business was slow the waitress even put a kids movie for my daughter. Which was nice of her.

I have driven by this place a couple times in the last week and had to try it! The service was friendly like their happy hour prices. We went all in on the most expensive pizza on the menu Piggy Smalls, a Caesar Salad and the Fried Cheese. Let me tell you that Fried Cheese is top 3 in the Dallas Metroplex. As a connoisseur of the finest fried cheese this hit all the marks with a flavored crunchy outside and melty amazingness on the inside. I'd throw that on a stick and sell it at the State Fair. The Caesar never made it to the table but neither did my tinder date. The pizza came out with a surrounding crown of crispy delight with a chewy crust. I would review this as a tough NYC pizza trying to be a thin crust. The middle slices, cut like a square were soggier than my aunt Suzen. A fine brisket only flops like those center pieces did. Regardless the toppings were bomb and solid quality with local favs like jimmies sausage, canadian bacon cut like pepperoni. Atmosphere was fun and I'd likely come back for a second chance. Food Demolisher Out. Support my reviews and buy some swag...https://a.co/d/c8EU1Ze

Food was good! Nothing special about the pizza, but definitely very good! Crispy crust, thin which we liked. Sauce was good. The employees were extremely welcoming and the service was great. We almost missed the building walking in, but once we got in there it was decorated beautifully, great vibes! We got take out, I would've loved to eat in too after seeing the place- very clean also. Overall pretty solid!

Only open for 5 months, but this place needs to grow in popularity! One of the best pizza's I've had in all of my travels across the US. It was low key on the Monday we came, so the staff had time to chat with us. Very cool guys who were proud of the company they work for. Great drinks to pair with the amazing pizza. Crust was perfect, topics were fresh, sauce was great!

The restaurant was probably 75% full and it was just 2 of us, so easy peasy. Amber(I really hope that's right) was a great waitresses. She greeted us and asked if we wanted anything besides the waters that had already been given. She then gave us a few minutes to look over the menu... Side bar: I guess I'm just old, but I want a real menu, not a QR code to scan. We looked over the menu and decided on 2 small pizza to split. Fourmaggio, which almost always my go to if available at the pizza place, and the Potato and Pancetta. Both pizzas were great, but the Potato and Pancetta was the winner for us! Really cool little spot that seems like a hipster sports bar. We don't live close, but will probably go in the future if we're in the area.

(just a fun fact) They seem pretty proud of that fact too, considering there's now a giant cowboy hat sculpture, "The Big Hat," right across the street. It's impossible to miss. Anyway, we weren't there for hats. We were there for pizza. First, a public service announcement. Figure out what you want before you walk in because the menu is only available through a QR code, and it is awful. You scroll. Then you scroll some more. Then somehow you're still scrolling. It feels less like ordering dinner and more like reading the terms and conditions for a mortgage. The two of us ordered a large pepperoni pizza, which turned out to be ambitious. We ate leftovers for days. Next time I'd definitely order the smaller size. My only real complaint about the pizza itself was the pepperoni. There was just TOO MUCH of it. Sure, I could have asked for "light pepperoni", but then I'd be paying full price for less topping, and that just goes against my personal philosophy. I'd love to see a "light pepperoni" option priced accordingly. ALSO not it is the good and greasy cupping pepperoni, kinda spicy. The pizza was also a little unevenly prepared. About half had a thicker crust while the other half was noticeably thinner. I definitely preferred the thinner side. Service was perfectly fine, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and the pizza was good overall. Just be prepared for the QR code marathon before you get to enjoy it.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. She never even looked at us or said. "Hi...just give me a minute and I'll be right with you.." 2nd host came to the counter (more than 5 minutes passed as we watched them buzz around and still not say hello). She finally looked up and said, "2"? Then seated us almost silently. We waited another 10 mins for someone to welcome us, say hi, or bring water, then a waiter appeared with a rushed, "Are you ready to order?" Umm....how about drinks? Specials? Anything?? We wanted a beer and were told the taps were empty and the only bottled option was Shiner. Rough start all around. Honestly, we were tempted to leave. It was that uncomfortable. We didn't. For the food: 1. Chopped salad was good, though it's not chopped at all, just a tossed salad. 2. Gnocci was delicious 3. Pizza was very tasty but the crust was strangely soggy/chewy. Maybe that's the style, but I kind of expected a bit of a crunch to it. The flavor all around was great. Our waiter disappeared (I'm assuming his shift ended?) without warning or letting us know someone else would step in. If I had to sum it up, it was almost like we were invisible the whole time we were there. Service can make or break an experience--it broke it for us. I'd consider trying the Richardson location in the future, but I think it'll be a while.
