Wow great service! We were greeted upon entering the restaurant as if we were family stopping by for a visit. The vibe was great and the lasagna was soooooo delicious!

Location Just north fir First Baptist Dallas and First Methodist Dallas on San Jacinto Parking We used a nearby lot Atmosphere New York pizza shop Seating Tables, chairs, counter, extra room good for groups. Service Order at counter, food brought to table. Menu Pizza, calzones, salads, desserts, fountain and bottled beverages. We had the salad that was AMAZING-healthy and yum! Summary Central location, great service, fantastic menu and food, interesting history! Ask for Johnny! Love this place!

This pizza was surprisingly good. I don't think I have ever gone to a pizza place that has had a crust this good. I also got the mozzarella sticks and between the cheese, crust, and tomato sauce, everything was scrumptious. Also the guy running the store was very friendly!

The customer service was great and the pizza looked really good and from my time eating in the restaurant, most of the customers were ordering slices. I decided to get the chicken fettuccine and let me say I had better from a frozen box in the store. the sauce was water and the chicken had not an ounce of flavor. I would go back to try some pizza though!

Chicken Parmesan

Good hole-in-the-wall place. I went with a pretty big group. The staff was a little overwhelmed, but we weren't in a huge rush. Staff was super nice. Food was good.

Overall an unimpressive pizza joint. arriving at 5:30 on a Saturday night, "Jeff", the one working the counter told us that all slices are $4 each which did not mirror the price on their menu wall. He also said we can only get slices for why is currently available (which was two cheese slices and some meat slices). In Jeff's words, the prices went up because of Joe Biden. Highly inappropriate. He also made inappropriate and unprofessional comments to multiple other guests. We ordered a pie since it was reasonably priced, compared to their slices. It took about 20 minutes. The pizza was average. The garlic bread was average and over priced. I would suggest going elsewhere

It was a little later in the evening so the patio service was a bit slow. But, our server was very friendly. We split their caesar salad as an appetizer. It was one of the best caesar salads that I have had. The pickled capers were a nice touch and the focaccia croutons were delicious. For our pizzas we selected the vodka pizza and cacio e pepperoni. Both were pretty solid. There are several more that I would be interested in trying in the future, as well. They also offer a "pup pizza" if you bring your furry friend. My dog can be quite picky but he absolutely devoured it!

We recently moved here from California, so every restaurant we try is a first-time experience for us -- and Sean set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we sat down, he ensured that we were taken care of with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that is genuinely rare to find. Sean knows the menu inside and out -- from cocktails to entrées -- and every recommendation he made was spot on. We trusted his guidance completely, and he did not let us down. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he never missed a beat. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and made our date night feel truly special. We usually aren't the type to leave reviews, but this one felt absolutely well-deserved. While the entire staff was kind, Sean is absolutely an asset to Pizzana. His knowledge, energy, and impeccable service transformed our first visit into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. He is the kind of server who makes you look forward to returning -- and we definitely will be back because of him. Highly recommend asking for Sean. He is definitely a rockstar.

Hands down Two Guys makes the best pizza in town! They make…read moretheir dough from scratch and it's delicious. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. One of the owners told me he has been eating that pizza twice a week for almost 50 years!

The Brussels sprouts were especially delicious, and I would absolutely order them again. They were well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the ricotta cheese, and during Happy Hour all appetizers were $2 off, which was a nice bonus. We also took advantage of the $10 Happy Hour Margarita Pizza, along with a couple of pizzas not included in the deal like the Truffle Shuffle and the Honey Bastard. All of them were solid and flavorful choices. The food came out quickly, the restaurant was clean, and the service was great. Our server, Emma, took excellent care of us and explained their authentic pizza style: a thin, crunchy crust with a perfectly chewy inside. I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Still, it's a great spot with good food, good service, and a worthwhile Happy Hour.

Went for a special night, reservations and everything, even arrived 10minutes earlier. We were not greeted by a server for 20-30 minutes PAST our reservation time, and to add on to that no water. We are typically pretty patient individuals, but eventually we flagged a waiter down, and from there the night flipped. I believe the server's name was Michael, great fellow and attentive. The FOH manager, Chris was phenomenal. Mistakes are inevitable in the restaurant industry so we understand. It is what is done after the fact that is a tell. They were great. Food was great and came out faster (On the fly). Now to the food and drink The cocktail martinis are great, cant go wrong with any. (We had the French 76 and Bleu&Gold) The Vin Scully Fries are great for the table Ribeye was great, cooked at correct temp. The Spicy Rigatoni (Zaza) was the favorite. Pricey poisoning nightmare!…read more What was supposed to be a fancy celebratory night out ($725 with tip) at Drake's for my MIL's birthday ended with one of our family members in the ER and another 2 attached to the toilet (including my 72 MIL). This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.
