We are staying close by and this place had great reviews. We walk in and there is no one else eating at the restaurant, bad sign. We ordered a slice of ham and pineapple pizza, which was so obviously reheated, and it tasted like a piece of cardboard. I don't think this is what New York pizza tastes like. The pizza is very yummy, not like chain pizza restaurants that are hit or miss. If I lived near here, this would be my go-to pizza shop. I'm with a group that gets together for volunteer activities , and there is a back room you can reserve. There's the plastic tablecloth, red pepper flakes at the table, pictures of the owner and his family. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He also said we can only get slices for why is currently available (which was two cheese slices and some meat slices). In Jeff's words, the prices went up because of Joe Biden. Highly inappropriate. He also made inappropriate and unprofessional comments to multiple other guests. We ordered a pie since it was reasonably priced, compared to their slices. It took about 20 minutes. Love it! I had a slice of pepperoni, bacon, and sausage pizza. It was delicious! The crust was perfect - not too thin, not too thick. It was just right!
