Benny and Luis have great customer service and great pizza the environment is also nice

Well, this review hurts. Mimi's has been my go to, and the place I recommend to anyone looking for NY pizza for ages. But the last 3 times I've been here, the pizza has been sub-mediocre. Overcooked every time, yet still a soggy crust, definitely not the same pizza it used to be. If they ever turn things around let me know, but I won't be back until they do. read more

Mimi's Pizzeria - NY style counter, and those spinach alfredo rolls were great! - Italian Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Solid local pizza spot! I love that they sell slices, so it was fun to try several different flavors. I loved the spinach+ricotta pizza most! Everything was great though read more

Stopped by this restaurant goor lunch one day and was impressed with the service, the quality of food and the efficiency. The restaurant was clean and seemed well staffed. I definitely will return! read more

This restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Dallas. Situated on Northwest Highway it is close to the mall, has a family friendly atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're an Italian fan, especially Spaghetti, theirs is a must try with either the meatballs or the meat sauce. If you go around 2PM the lunch special has the entree, a side salad and garlic bread with a drink for around $12.99 read more

Super pizza and excellent chicken parm! The staff are courteous and so helpful! You can't go wrong for dine in or take out.

The pizza is excellent, I have to drive 20 minutes from my home to get here but it's worth it. Never eaten inside but the employees are pleasant when I'm picking up. read more

Pizza is good and they sell by the slice. This is a good place to stop by and get lunch for a decent price. I think they also have a lunch special certain days. Got tables and TVs available while dining in. read more

I orderd the pizza and it took about 8 mins and customer service was really good. The food tho is really bad the sause left a rotten taste in my mouth and the pizza itself started sticking to the box after 2 mins so bad to the point that it was like eating a used bandaid. All in all a waste of 25 dollars for a fuckinf cheese pizza. read more

It's really nice that they serve pizza by the slice! Crust could have a bit more flavor but the actual toppings portion was solid!

Delicious food and incredible customer service! Thank you to the Mimi's Team for taking care of my family on a busy Friday night.

This place used to have the best pizza around and a genuinely authentic vibe. Sadly, both the food and atmosphere have changed for the worse. The pizza is now unremarkable, and the once-welcoming ambiance feels uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it today the way I would have three years ago. Did they change ownership? Something definitely feels different. read more

Picked up takeout and can say service was great. Decent sized seating area inside with a couple TVs. They sell by the slice and have a ton of options to choose from. Went with a large pepperoni pizza, a Caesar, mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pinwheel. The pizza was solid, sauce was tangy, thinner style crust with little flop, good amounts of cheese and pepperoni. Mozzarella sticks were also bangin, cold when I got home but reheated in the oven the cheese pull was 10/10. read more

Best bang for your buck. Single slice pizza with salad. Can't ask for anything better. Both excellent.

Great pizza! Feels like authentic Italian pizza. My picky eating son even started eating Italian sausage because of their pizza. He previously was only a plain pizza cheese lover. Clean location. read more

Mimi's is my favorite pizza in the area. We did a family taste test competition between Lovers and Mimi. It was tie, 2-2. I personally thought Mimi's had a slight edge but both pizza were excellent NY style pizzas for the Park Cities area. I find Lovers pizza to have a better crust than Mimi's. Mimi's is slightly cheezier and I prefer the taste by a hair. But the two pizzas are very close. It was a great pizza taste test. Everyone knows the rules.... read more

New York style pizzeria. Order at the counter. They'll call out your order to pick it up, so listen carefully. (It's noisy when the place is busy, so really listen!) We loved spaghetti and meatballs, the house bread, and a Stromboli. A local favorite, for sure. read more

I'm on the hunt for the perfect pizza (for my tastes). I've driven by here for decades. Put down the highly advertised national chains' slices and pick up the cannoli from here! Easy to find and has a huge parking lot which does get busy at lunch and evening meal time. They have dine in and take out. They were supporting some of the delivery services. I ordered a salad, pizza, drinks and of course a cannoli! The salad was huge and tasty (plenty for 2)! The pizza was really good! WAY better than the chains I won't mention. If the sporting event you are watching makes you crave pizza, order from here! Quick, friendly service, great flavors, concern to make sure your order is complete and reasonably priced! read more

Fantastic pizza. Crispy base if you ask for "well done". Best pizza for the $$ in Dallas.

Margherita pizza was tasty. High quality ingredients used. The crust was delicious. We came late at night, but we were not rushed by the staff. Next time we are in the area, we'll certainly come back to Mimi's. read more

This is my new favorite place to come for pizza. I have ordered a few times for pick up and their pizzas are delicious including the crust. I have tried their Pepperoni and Meatball pizza and they are both delicious. I fought the urge to add extra cheese. I had more than enough on both visits. If you're not in the mood for pizza, grab a hot sub or pasta. Everything is prepared fresh so expect to wait a reasonable amount of time for your order. Kids menu , Gluten free and Dessert. Lunch specials available Mon-Fri from 11:00-3:00pm. I want to their shrimp pasta on my next visit and a cannoli. Great pizza and customer service. read more

Man this place is good!! It is a small, casual restaurant, currently decked out with festive Christmas decor!! Quick service, friendly people. Fresh, made to order pizzas. The food is delicious! Pizza is not too saucy. Good crust. Delicious toppings. What's not to love? Only suggestion I have for the team is on salad dressing. My salad was slathered in dressing and basically a lettuce soup. But still delicious!! I highly recommend this place for lunch. They have great lunch specials! read more

Hands down THEE best NY style pizza here in DFW. Many other places claim to be NY style but hey this NY native really knows her pizza. When I asked for a mushroom slice, they put mushroom on a regular slice and then put it in the oven. That is how you do it. The crust was crunchy, thin and it held its own. I made the fold and there was NO soggy pizza here. Light and sweet sauce with just the right amount of cheese and YES it had the oil on top of the cheese. Maybe the only thing, if anything was that my crust didn't have a giant air bubble.. but that's a very minor detail... *changed from 4 star to 5 stars after I returned and order linguine with white clam sauce and fried calamari! This place reminds me of NY! read more

We've been eating at Mimi's since coming to Dallas more than a decade ago. We were looking for authentic Tri-state pizza and we were not disappointed. Our favorite item is the pizza wheels. This place was recommended by a friend. We went last night and found the staff to be welcoming and helpful, the place was clean, and the pizza was yummy. We didn't know it was BYOB, so we went next door to Walgreens to get a bottle of wine while our pizzas cooked. By the time we got back, they were done. It's a thinner crust with a crispy bottom. We have had our eye on Mimi's for at least a year and finally got an order for takeout this evening. My husband voted on the lasagna but I protested for the saucy goodness in the fettuccini Alfredo. I honestly have never had such a vastly disappointing dish. There was no indication that the chicken was an odd fried and Cakey breaded variety, and the ample bath of sauce in all the raving reviews was non existent. read more

We agree that this is the closest to a New York pizza around here. WE love the pizza and the spinach and the pepperoni roll ups were delicious too. We will definitely be back read more

This is my personal go to spot whenever I'm craving a NYC style pizza. The pizza always comes out the oven a little charred on the bottom and on the crust which is how I like my it! One specialty pie I will recommend is the Mimi's Pie. The garlic and ricotta makes a huge difference in terms of flavor. Their covid protocols could be better in terms of having all employees wear mask properly or using gloves while making the pizzas so just be wary of this before you go. One more thing. Do yourself a favor and order a fresh pie for takeout instead of grabbing one of the pre-made slices if you want the best tasting pie :). read more

This is my go to New York style pizza in Dallas. I've tried them all. This is simply the best. just a right amount of sauce for sloppy feel the crust is flavorful. It's not bland like others. Great service friendly guys pasta choices are awesome. read more

I was really expecting more from this here according to the reviews. They sell pizza by the slice but there were only about 5 pizzas to choose from and they all looked as if they had been sitting there for a while. We ordered the medium supreme pizza minus the onion and green pepper. We also got the spinach pizza roll which was delicious. Once the guy brought our pizza out I immediately noticed the green peppers. I said we asked for no onions and green peppers his response was "I only heard no onions" as he continued to set the pizza down. I said yes I said no peppers he said "well I didn't get that" and turned to walk away I said well I guess we'll keep it. We had to pick the green peppers off, the sauce was just a regular jar taste sauce, there was a decent amount of toppings and the crust was good. It would have been nice if he would've asked if we would like for the pizza to be remade as ordered. Since I don't like to waste food I would have said it was ok and picked them off as we did but he didn't even offer to fix it. Be careful of the swinging kitchen door. It will smack you if you're not paying attention when staff goes into the kitchen. read more

I'm so unique, you could never BE ME I don't drink coffee, but you can Bubble TEA ME And when I take my shirt off, I look DREAMY But not as much as a slice from MIMI If I was OJ, you'd move my trial to SIMI If I was Japanese, you'd eat my SASHIMI If I was just born, I'd be a PREEMIE But when in Dallas, get pizza from MIMI If you rub my bottle, I'll be a GENIE If you steal my pizza, I'll be a MEANIE If you feed my cat, they prefer GREENIES If I was invisible, you'd never SEE ME If you take me home, no doggy, MISSIONARY ME If I was your sex slave, you'd never FREE ME Cuz me in your basement would make you CREAMY And afterwards, we can get a slice from MIMI'S WHAT What to get: Slices and Pinwheels and Garlic Knots What not to get: Married to Mimi Rogers What you can't do: Mimi-c this pizza, if you're in Dallas anyway They used to be owned by Pizza Hut... or was it the evil Peyton Manning at Papa John's I forget (I don't care) (it's made up) (bear with me). But then they were freed, and opened a nice local Mom-and-pop Pizza shop instead! That day is known to everyone (including Mariah) as "The Emancipation Of Mimi's." I am a massive fan of Mimi's Pizza - although the girl I was with didn't like it, because it was too greasy for her (like most men). It reminds me a lot of a pizza place in the Northeast. The style and taste of the pizza and the little spinach rolls and pepperoni rolls (called Pinwheels in these parts, maybe) are very much like the wonderful greasy delicious authentic Italian American Northeastern style family-owned pizzerias. It's wonderful to find one down in Dallas and proves that it can be done. Service was okay. They weren't particularly unfriendly but they did leave my stuff sitting out while they were ringing people up for sodas and having conversations so that was a little annoying. And they didn't stare at my Barbie as much as most men do. Just a little. She prefers constant eyes-on-me-type attention. Obvi. Also I asked what to do with my knife and fork and the guy told me (aggressively) go put it back on your table as if I was an idiot. I'm not an idiot and charm School could be a good idea for you sir. Still, I'm not one to let iffy service put me off the best pizza in the entire DFW area. The prices aren't great either but nevertheless the products are amazing and this is easily five stars. And if you run into me and my gf here, make sure to check her out more than the employees did. Especially check out her expensive boobies, which is what this place is actually named for. Oh wait, it's Mimi's, not Mammaries. read more
