Mike was fast to get to our home and changed our door knob really fast. The price was reasonable and the service excellent.

We live in a 1911 bungalow. I brought over one of the indoor door locks that had a broken spring. Good lock and key fashioned a new spring out of spring steel. Took him ten minutes while I waited. Works like a charm. Very reasonable. read more

Locked myself out of my house after taking out the trash. The lock smith arrived at my house and I was back in side within 3 mins.

This has been one of the smoothest and best experience with a key maker very fast and helpful. I will always come back for any key I need made or program my remote alarms. Highly recommend this key maker read more

I chose these guys based on their Yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed. They replaced two door knobs and one dead bolt, rekeyed everything (including a door that didn't need a new knob) and cut lots of spare keys (including some spare keys for the padlocks on my gates). The cost was reasonable ($293) and everything was done within a couple hours of my phone call. read more

Great place to have almost any key made..or if you get locked out of your car..or if safe or anything lock or key..check em out

My friend locked us out of the house one day during July, and we called a different locksmith earlier who took over an hour to basically do nothing. He picked at it, tried using an electric pick, tried bumping the lock, but nothing worked. In the end he charged us $240 even though he didn't manage to open it. Frustrating experience. Then we called Good Lock & Key after seeing all the great reviews on Yelp. They told us they'd be here in an hour, and Milad arrived right on time, walked up to the door, and picked it within fifteen seconds. To top it off, he only charged us $85! Hallelujah! read more

I just moved into a new place and wanted to replace all the locks. I called, expecting to make an appointment a few days out, but they came by less than 2hr later. Thanks for such fast and high quality service! read more

Needed a key and remote for my truck. Guys had just what I needed, for a fair price too

This shop is now going to be my go-to place for all my key/lock needs! My car key remote needed to be replaced. As soon as I walked into Good Lock and Key, Mike helped me immediately and even had the exact remote I needed for my car model and year in stock, which was amazing because I bought the wrong one online. The remote was programmed within minutes and Mike made sure everything worked properly. I was in and out within 15min and paid only a fraction of the cost the Hyundai dealer shop quoted me at over $300. read more

Great service, great quality! I received a discount for waiting 5 minutes for the owner to show up, highly recommended!

Great service! I locked myself out of my apartment and my husband was at work so there was no way of me getting in and it was late night already. It took the owner about 15 minutes to arrive at my apartment and successfully get the door open. Will definitely keep this place in mind! Very friendly as well :) read more

Mike helped me out tonight, very helpful and efficient. He said my lock was tricky, showing me my key after pulling off some serious magic and explaining how its shape can determine the level of difficulty in picking the lock. He knows his stuff and was on time. Thank you Mike! read more

Based on the reviews on Yelp, I called up the shop to change out the locks on the front door, back door, and mailbox in January. A technician came out, did the job, and gave a set of new keys. We were very pleased with the work although the front door lock was a little harder to turn than the original lock, which was more than 10 years old. But all in all, the locks were changed. Now it's May, and the front door lock does not fully lock all the way, maybe about 3/4. And it requires a lot more elbow grease than one normally would use to lock the door. I called up the shop yesterday to see if someone can come by and check it out. First thing this morning the owner Mike shows up and inspect the front door. He says the combination that his guy replaced works perfectly fine and is not the issue. He continues to take apart the door lock and handle. He removes the latch, takes it to his van, and comes back to the front door to reinstall it. He finishes up by putting everything back together and tells me that the latch was not straight. But I told him that for 10 years the original lock was so smooth until the combination was changed. He did not want to talk any further and asked if he could give me the invoice. I guess he just wanted his $65 for the service call (which he ended up settling for $60 after I was still trying to understand why the additional charge). I'm always a supporter for local businesses. But when a business owner himself doesn't provide a good customer experience, then it is hard to get loyal customers or referrals. read more

Milad was very professional. Wore a mask. Did what he had to very quickly. I would highly recommend him.

Came over right away and tackled a very difficult lock. Gave me a great price and was a nice guy.

Spoke to Mike over the phone. Needed to make a key for an old car. Went to the dealership, apparently with the key code from the passenger cylinder lock they were not able to make the key (wrong number and they didn't have it in their database). Brought the cylinder lock to mike and he was able to make the key for me. Quick and easy. read more

Mike was a tremendous help! He showed up in under 20 minutes to replace the lock on a custom made mailbox. The lock was damaged, and a thule lock removal key was not going to work. Fortunately, he was still able to succeed in replacing the lock. And even found the same exact lock model to fit in the custom mailbox. Highly recommend! read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE, I came yesterday at 11:20am. Closed, called won't open for another hour. I want to try to avoid an empty trip so I called again today before I come. Accidentally gave the owner the wrong year of a car I was borrowing that I needed an extra key for. He had to make an entirely new one for the correct year, and did so at no charge. Also gave me a free water. Thanks again! read more

I needed to get a used Prius fob flashed and emergency key cut - Mike was quick, responsive, and super professional. Very kind to my toddler who was with me - offered him water and spoke to him too. Nice. 20 min later, I have a replacement key and don't have to worry about losing one. And the price was the best of all the estimates (and a fraction of what a Toyota dealership would charge) and he honored the yelp discount on top of that. Thanks! read more
