Called to have a lock replaced on a commercial door and these guys were on it! They had to do some minor alterations to the door, but they explained everything up front and ensured all my questions were answered. I love how much they know their products. I went in to have a duplicate key made. Before he starts, I asked him does it make a difference if it's not made for a house. He explained that all the keys are coded, so there would not be a mistake. Awesome. I'll find out on Monday if it worked :) read more

I needed a spare key for my car. The gentleman who helped me was knowledge and detail oriented. I made a mistake on the year of my car - he went to my car to check it and caught my mistake. I'm so grateful that he took that extra step because he had the key in stock and was able to make and program the key for me on the spot. Do yourself a favor and take your business here. Got my spare car fob programmed here. The knock-off, aftermarket fob I had couldn't be used, so had to buy an OEM fob here instead. The actual programming service was great, but the haggling and pleading was not very pleasant. Ended up with a reasonable but not terrific price. read more

Fast. Friendly. Good price point. Thank you. I got my Nissan Rogue car key duplicated and it works perfectly.

I hate to rate low for local business. But I just couldn't give them more stars. I came to their shop last week to duplicate 3 keys (simple mailbox keys, so very simple and not complicated). Price is reasonable. I went to check the mailbox, NONE and the keys work at all. So my husband went back and told them none of the key works. The person apologize and polish a bit more on the 3 keys and even gave him a free key. So now we got 4 mailbox keys. And we checked again today, this time, 2 out of 4 works!?!?!? It's a key and lock shop, and they can't rightly duplicate a small commercial mailbox keys!?! We gave up. Nor recommended, at least not for key duplicating read more

They are better than "good." I'd say great! Needed locks changed. Quick response, excellent work, nice people. Also, prices are less than some of the companies that call immediately. To save $$, don't agree to hire the first company that calls you. read more

These guys are legit. We had damage to our garage doors and these guys came through. I reached out to several vendors and many lacked basic customer service skills. Not these guys. They answered the phone promptly, were upfront with their pricing, heard my situation, and then showed up in a timely manner. Once here, the gentlemen quickly got to work. They took time to explain to me some things about my lock, frame, and door that was very useful. The price they charged was below their final quote and cery reasonable. I would happily recommend or call them again if needed. read more

They're great!!! Very fast response time! Both father and son are very knowledgable. On top of that, they have great prices!

I had a service from them 12 years ago and it left a lasting pleasant impression with me. I had them open the door of my house when I was locked out and the guy (father) was so nice, I never forgot them. He was quick and had charged me for a reasonable price. Since then, I kept them on my mind. Yesterday, I needed to duplicate my car keys. There were technical difficulties, but, in the end, they made it right and completed the service I needed. They are at least 50% CHEAPER than the dealership, so I'm not worried at all with the cost. They will make it right for you at the right cost and that's why I highly recommend them. read more

The guys are here are so sweet. They quoted me $65 for key fob programming and key cutting for my Jeep Patriot and that is the price I paid! On eBay I got a "Driver 2" key that I thought should work with my Honda Passport. I brought it to this shop and in about 5 minutes they had it programmed and working. Now I have 2 keys and the car recognizes them separately as "Driver 1" and "Driver 2". So cool. They saved me so much time and money I didn't have to waste at a Honda dealer. They also gave me a free bottle of water. Every place should be like this. read more

I purchased a used Yakima Skybox Cargo Carrier. One lock contained a broken key. The other lock had a damaged pin. They came to my home and had the two lock cores removed in about half of an hour. I already had replacements ordered, so I will install them myself. Great communications, great estimate. Project is complete and I am satisfied beyond my expectations. We were in need of a locksmith to do a fresh install of a deadbolt lock in our front door, and install two smart locks and new door handle, as well as rekeying all three. Milad was punctual, courteous and did an excellent job! (Hope to upload pictures later.) His quote was extremely reasonable compared to other I received, but it was even a greater value for us as after inspection he included the second lock and handle install in the rekeying price. Overall, we're happy with the results and highly recommend Good Lock & Key in Pasadena. They will definitely be our go to locksmith going forward, and our locksmith recommendation when anyone asks. read more
