Very cool breakfast place! Smoothies are good, great coffee, and the egg wraps are built to your liking! Wish I had a place like this at home! read more

Good Eggs - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Ephraim, Wisconsin

okay i will begin by saying that this might have been the best breakfast burrito i've ever had. it was huge and very tasty. however, 40 minutes for two burritos to-go was way too long. you will wait quite a long time for very good food. up to you if you've got the time. i'm sure they're trying their best. read more

Great scones. Service slower than usual with the new Covid protocols. Still a great quick breakfast.

Hidden gem in Door County. Worth the wait! Great breakfast burrito that is so big I would call it a brunch-burrito. If you see the line out the door, it might be 20 minutes or more.... Still worth the wait. Love this place. read more

This could be re-named, "Great Eggs." The burritos are delicious and you can get a variety of meats, cheeses, veggies, sauces and tortillas to customize it just the way you want it. They are made right in front of you, so there are no mysteries here. The cook was very charismatic and organized. Also important to mention are the smoothies available. They are made fresh in front of you and are tasty. We did wait in line for just over 40 minutes, which became a little cumbersome towards the end. Granted you would have to wait that long at most breakfast places on a Friday morning, but something about standing in line makes it a little worse. I will definitely go back, but I might order ahead of time depending on when we go. read more

FYI: This review was written by a disabled business owner... Just left Good Eggs. Let me start by saying the eggs are excellent and the service is very friendly, so please don't think otherwise while skimming reviews when you see this 3-Star beauty pop up on your screen. So here's the reason why Good Eggs gets 3-Stars. I am a customer with a disability and an autoimmune illness. Many disabilities are visible and obvious, but there even more which aren't. Mine is one of those that fall into the latter category. Depending on how bad it is from day to day, I may look relatively "normal" and appear to be able to do "normal" things. Because of my disability and the injuries it lends itself to, I am currently dealing not only with the pain of the disability itself, but with an injured back and ruptured posterior tibial tendon in my left foot (stay with me here, my injury is relevant). The posterior tibialis is the tendon which runs from your knee to the inside of your ankle. This means that standing for an hour for my food with no chairs available is NOT an option. I don't like complaining or asking to be treated differently from others, but I'm now in a great deal of pain after completing half of my order and having to stand in line for an hour for the rest of it . I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get done what I wanted to get done today on the last day of my vacation. I often feel really forgotten and defeated when patronizing businesses run by healthy people and geared toward healthy people. I saw one woman on a motorized cart having a really tough time getting in and out of this business. She had a caregiver with her. I do not. There were no chairs to sit in, there was nowhere for folks with various disabilities and illnesses to sit and take a break in the long, hot line for food. This may not seem like a big deal to healthy folks, but it's crucial to those of us with disabilities. I was really disappointed that there was nowhere for me to sit or rest in that hour long line today and as a result, I felt really ignored and neglected. I know this isn't the owner's intention. The owner and staff seemed very nice indeed and the food was good, but folks, you're a growing business who clearly has quite a few customers. It really is absolutely essential that you start catering to customers with disabilities. Here are a few ways you can: ·Keep a clear 32" or wider pathway for disabled people to utilize while standing in line, ·Set out at least 5 chairs (I'm counting on teenagers and healthy people using these chairs and not even considering that they might be for disabled folks, so having 4-5 in the area in which people submit their orders would be really helpful). There was one hard metal chair in that area which a teenager immediately plopped down into and began texting. I did not feel comfortable asking him to get up as I don't appear disabled and I'm young and am often told to piss off, even when walking with a cane. Labeling a couple of these chairs as for the use of disabled people would be amazing. ·Make sure the ground and floor surfaces in and around your entrance are wheelchair friendly. These are just a couple of ways you could make your lovely little establishment more disabled friendly. I can guarantee you that you probably see numerous folks like me each and every day who, like me, limp through your line, sweating and shaking in pain. Taking the above steps would be fantastic. I'm a business owner myself and being disabled has given me valuable perspective on this matter. Thanks for your consideration. The reason I didn't bring this up in a room full of people in very tight quarters was because I didn't want to appear as if I was being dramatic or complaining for the sake of complaining. If I had had a relatively private moment alone with the business owner, I'd have happily pulled him aside. read more

This place is definitely worth waiting in line for. Best breakfast burrito in door county! They only have breakfast burritos on the menu, but they have lots of options for customizing. Super friendly staff and great view of the lake. Well done good eggs! read more

Coffee which is supposed to be Colectivo is diluted quite surprisingly. Coffee is probably the highest margin product why water it down. No decaf available at 7:20am. read more

Sorry for the average review. Eaten here multiple times over the years. Placed order using app to save time waiting in line and pickup to bring back. Order placed 9:24, order approx pickup 10:10; actual 10:45 ish and some items weren't correct once we unpackaged and eggs were overdone. That's a longer wait then a food truck. Sadly disappointed. read more

Excellent choice for breakfast burritos. Generous sizes, great flavor. They are only open Fri to Sat for breakfast (till 1). They also have an app for ordering. Recommend placing order about half an hour before you plan on arriving at the location. With the app that shouldn't be a problem! Definitely recommend, and always happy to support a local business. read more

Awesome place! Very cool vibe across the street from the water and the food is delicious! The only drawback is the line...I went two days in a row and had to wait about 20 minutes each time for my food. Totally worth the wait though. Can't wait to go back next year! read more

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. Simple but delicious and satisfying. I had the deluxe wrap with bacon, peppers, onions, cheddar, black beans, no potatoes and the spinach wrap. Outstanding flavor. Cool dudes. Exceptional scones. Get them before they run out. This breakfast is always a must when we are here. We at at 0830 and I stayed satisfied until almost 4 pm. No joke. read more

Good Eggs - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Ephraim, Wisconsin

Just waited about an hour and 20 minutes for a breafast wrap. Wrap tastes good. Made with fresh ingredients. Two ladies were making food there(preparing all the ingredients, making the food, cooking, and cashiering). A man did arrive to help and almost shorted me $3 change when I was checking out. The ladies preparing the food were not wearing gloves. The only part I liked was the wraps are big and tasted pretty good. read more

This is the best breakfast food I have ever had. It is a walk in restaurant and it gets very busy. So be there by 9 at the latest to get in and out fast. There are so many options for small details that bring this burrito over the top. Different flavors of tortillas and even an amazing choice of cheese. Also what makes this place even more amazing if that's possible is the man who heads the grill. He always chats with the customers and is hilarious. I recommend this place to everyone. I live 3 hours away and would drive up here every weekend just for this. You can also get sides of fresh brewed coffee scones or smoothies. There's something for everyone!! read more

We got here right at 7 am, excited for breakfast burritos. What we got was something much deeper. This place tried so little I couldn't help but feel an emboldened connection to the eternal plight of mankind. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was a small man-made pond that was both right in the way and not adding a single thing. I could all but picture the sad shlub who made it, holding a shovel, shrugging. We walked to the counter and were told by a human to order on the app, which theoretically is a way to speed service. Not in this case. This felt intentional. They wanted us to put in the work. So we ordered and we waited, and took it all in. Good Eggs goes with soft Hawaii surf theme, right in the heart of the Midwest. The bathroom - we need to talk about the bathroom. It's there, and the toilet does flush. If I had to nitpick I'd suggest using some sort of receptacle to collect the paper towels rather than just having them strewn about the floor. The cleanliness level was a tip of the hat to simpler times, before cleaning products were invented. They had normal hand soap, I think, but they also had an open jar of "body polish." As much as I wanted to use this rancid old goop to shine my bod, the nats collecting in and around it kept me from living out that dream. We eventually got our food but I didn't get the smoothie that I ordered. "There was supposed to be a smoothie with our order," I said to a female who, as best as I could tell, worked on our order. "What about it," she said. I paused for a second, "Can I have it?" As I waited for my smoothie I peered into the kitchen. A guy in big 90's motocross sunglasses chopped taters. A guy cracked eggs into a bucket, nothing more to say about him, he was cool. I got my smoothie. I think she liked that I liked that she didn't like me. We had our burritos and laughed as we discussed how disconcerting the bathroom situation was. I can't wait to come back. 5 stars. read more

Great breakfast burritos! And really friendly people! There are 3 choices of eggs you can choose: one with veggies, one with bacon or chicken, and one with neither. They don't accept cards but they have an atm inside. Also they have an app you can order ahead and come pick up your order (which I didn't use, so no idea on that). read more

Probably the worst customer service in Door County. The grill man - which may be the owner is rude and obnoxious which spoils your experience as well as your appetite. We have had a family home in Door for over 50 years and we love the people and the destination. He needs to lighten up and appreciate the customer... and perhaps say 'thank you' as well as oblige ones requests. It was a tough call to give one star as the food is good. read more

Best place in doorcounty! People always complain about the line and how long it takes to make food but hello! Believe it or not food does not just magically appear! All the workers are constantly doing something and the person on the grill really makes an effort to connect to the customers while also making a bangin burrito! If you want good food, bear the possible long line and get a Good Eggs (you will not regret it)! Also the girl who made our burrito suggest we get their black bean salsa and I'm so glad I did! read more

After reading the reviews, we had to stop at Good Eggs. We stopped on a weekday so there was no wait. It was a bit awkward ordering and the grill chef acted like we were idiots because we didn't get the simplicity of the system. Three options, 1,2 or 3. Wife wanted a egg and cheese and spinach wrap. You can't get spinach unless you order a 3. A couple of bucks more but with less fillings. Not a big deal, we are on vacation. When you get your food it is hard to eat. Not a big deal because it is very good. Nice concept, California feel and excellent food. I would prefer not to eat my food with two hands over a dirty surfboard so will pass next time in Door. Try it yourself, it is unique with fresh tasty burritos. Not my gig. read more

It is with a heavy heart that I cannot allow myself a full 5 stars for this visit - not yet at least. We stopped here on our way out of town after raving reviews, and it lived up to all of them. We went in around 9:30 with only one set of 'ritos on the grill ahead of us. It was prime time! I asked for a smoothie, to which he just started doing his own thing. It says on the chalkboard menu "fruit smoothie", however I thought I would be given an option of fruit...not so. Strawberry banana - and it was great. There is literally one griddle, and one cook - the owner. There are three options for breakfast, [egg and cheese], [egg, veggie and cheese] and [egg, veggie, cheese and meat]. I do not eat eggs, so I opted for a meal deluxe with no eggs. He piled up the griddle with green onions, red peppers, and sausage. He poured eggs over the entire griddle and halfheartedly scolded me for not reminding him to not slather mine in egg. He began another load of veggies for me, but only cooked them half as long leaving for overwhelmingly crunchy onions and peppers. They had cheddar, pepperjack and goat cheese as cheese options, then optional spinach, southwest salsa and hot sauce in there as well. I love love love the small farm to kitchen vibe, and I love seeing everything as it is done. I have to agree with Jason K. that I would have preferred to map out my options ahead of time, and maybe a little more direction - but overall it was a great meal. read more

If you are visiting Door county, you should have your breakfasts at Good Eggs each day! That's what we did last two years and can't wait for the next trip! Unbelievably delicious egg wraps! read more

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Can't beat the view of Ephraim's harbor. They also have an excellent cup of coffee!

Solid breakfast food made with care. They go a bit long in the preparation, but if that's what they are into, I am in. You could do a lot worse in Door County. Check these folks out. Price for breakfast burrito is on point too. Oh and dude's beard and consequential beard net is epic. His attempts at add-on scone sales are not. Up with hillybilly bourgeoisie! read more

Always fantastic. We have been coming since 2003 or so. Formula is still the same and we still love it. Due to the boys' egg allergy, they had smoothies. Tom and I had delicious burritos and a nice cup of alterra coffee. The best part for the kids was sitting at surfboard tables. Cool breeze from the lake!! Highly recommended. read more

another gem in ephraim. sometimes my coworkers and i would skip out of work for a half hour just to get to good eggs before it closed. the basic wraps are filled with potato, your choice of cheese and egg. you get to choose plain, spinach or tomato flavored tortillas. one step up is the veggie wrap -- you can pick from a variety of fresh veggies to add to your breakfast burrito. lastly, you can add meat -- sausage, bacon or ham (maybe there are others, i can't remember). i usually just get the basic. it's enough to fill you up -- sometimes it's hard to even get through the whole thing! they also have a smoothie bar. they serve coffee and juices. plenty of outdoor seating -- cute tables made from surfboards! good for people watching. in addition, since the meals are wraps, you can easily take them to-go and stroll around the shores of ephraim. it used to close at 1 (hence why we used to skip out on work) but i hear they now offer lunch wraps and are open 'til 3. i am stoked to check out what they are. sometimes there can be a wait since it is a small place and there is only one grill, but it's worth it. the owner is generally friendly and so is the staff. definitely good eggs! :) read more

Highly recommend this hidden gem! Excellent food and coffee served by friendly staff at a decent price (especially for such large portions). No large sign with the name out front, so just look for the surfboard picnic tables and you'll know you're in the right place. read more

I make it a priority to stop here at least once while in DC. Soooo good. Fresh everything. Slightly overpriced and owners not that friendly but with a breakfast burrito that good, who cares?! read more

Eh. It's a breakfast burrito. You have to wait in line for 30 minutes because they have a dinky griddle so my family was done eating while I stood there waiting for the next batch to finish. Cook asked me if I wanted hot sauce, I said yes and she asked me to do my own hot sauce. They only take cash but you can use their ATM with a 2 dollar surcharge that goes to Good Eggs. read more

My hands-down favorite grab-and-go breakfast spot. Only serves breakfast burritos but you can eat of surfboard tables and stare at the lake

My teenage daughter is always raving about the place and comparing my breakfast burritos to theirs (theirs always wins). So I had to check it out while we were up here this week. Because I am so indecisive (I'm a Libra) I always have to look at menus ahead of time. I'm so glad I did because I saw that they have an app you can download and order from. The app is awesome, you pretty much build your own burrito and you can even type special instructions if need be. You can pick the time you want to pick up your food but if your an idiot like me and skip that part thinking you can just go back to that after you build and place your order, you can't unless you cancel it and start all over. The best part of the app for me was the ability to pay right online as well. I'm used to every place taking credit/debit but up here that's not always the case. Because I didn't select a time, I just decided to drive on over about 10/15 minutes after I placed my order. When we got their I parked illegally in the shop next doors lot but don't worry, I wasn't a total jerk, I had my daughter and her boyfriend go in and buy something while I picked up the order. It was a candy shop so trust me, they had no problem with that. Anyway, I wasn't sure where to pick up the order so I just got in line. Line...that's the key word here, the line was out the door, I'd say there were at least 10 people in front of me and before I knew it, there were 10 behind me too. But then I thought why the F did I order online just to wait in a long ass line? Luckily this young man came out to offer smoothie samples (smart thinking) and I asked him if this was truly the line I should be in. He was so kind and apologized that I was waiting and directed me to the back of the building to pick up my order. As I approached the back, I saw the real parking lot and other people waiting for their order as well. The back area was super chill, they have a large grill back there and a bar style seating area around the grill. Jack Johnson was coming out of the speakers and I was greeted by a friendly young lady with a great smile and upbeat attitude. She confirmed my order while (wo)manning the grill. She told me my order was on the grill and it would be about four minutes. I was also greeted by a dog with a frisbee who wanted to play so that was just an added bonus. I pretty much suck at frisbee and the dog was clearly not impressed by some of my throws to him. We got our food and went back to my moms condo to eat as there is limited seating at Good Eggs and I needed to wash my hands after playing with the dog and frisbee. In my burrito I ordered eggs, potatoes, pepper jack cheese, black bean salsa, green onions and chicken in a chipotle flavored burrito. The burrito was $9.95 (deluxe wrap) but it was huge and I ended up giving half of mine to my husband who I ordered nothing for because he wanted to sleep in. Long story short, this burrito was amazing and totally work the price. And yes, they are way better than the breakfast burritos I make at home. read more

Omelet wraps cooked to order as you watch. Excellent service. Excellent food. Unique decor. The cook was making eight different omelets for eight people at once on the grill as we all stood and watched and he was never confused about which one belonged to which person. The tables and stools appeared to be unique and hand crafted works of art. Several of the tables were made from surf boards. The guys working there were all very good looking. read more

Food is okay but the service is so slow. Ordered five burritos online and came in 45 minutes later as the confirmation email said. Got there and order hadn't been started and there was a line out the door. Told them we were picking up an order and was told it would be another 15 minutes. Took 30 minutes past the scheduled time before it was ready. Several online orders showed up and left while we waited. Not the staffs fault. Owner needs to invest in a bigger grill or discontinue online ordering as they clearly are not staffed or set up for it. read more

It was alright. The food here was a little over priced and tasted like chipotle with egg. So if you want to pay 11 dollars for a not well planned out ordering process and a subpar breakfast burrito this is the place for you, but if you want to get a good breakfast at a place with NO FLIES try somewhere else. read more
