We had the burrito and the crunch-idilla both with the birria beef. Leans to the spicy side but in a great way, not too much, just enough to keep you wanting more. Highly recommend the lime crema. There was a little bit of a line and a small wait but good things come to those who wait! Highly recommend!

Papa B recommended the Gyro and the smash burger, so we got them both. They did not disappoint. The gyro was fresh with a homemade tzatziki sauce and super soft meats. The onions and tomatoes were complimentary without overdoing it. The smash burger (double) was served on a soft and slightly more dense bun (not brioche I think), and I enjoyed that. The burger also had a savory sauce without being overpowering.

The parking lot was full so we parked on the street on the other side of the restaurant. Usually a good sign when a place is that busy, especially early in the evening. Since their patio was full we decided to order our meal to go and do some car side dining. We were told about 30 minutes. Also a very nice gesture by the staff that offered a glass of water while we waited. Before we knew it, our meals came out. The perch was perfect and there were so many pieces. Tender and flaky with a light and tasty breading. Homemade tartar sauce, coleslaw and potato salad that had some pickles in it. Fries were also crispy and hot. It seems like as we ate our fish, there were more pieces stacked below. Probably at least 6 pieces. Our meal also came with some rye bread with butter. We talked about how great this meal was for quite a while. Friday night fish fry is legendary in WI. This was a legendary meal!

Food is good, hours are wonky but we don't complain, ambiance is on the most beautiful place with fast efficient service. I remember as a kid the game room and bar that stuck out taking up the entire restaurant. Then our distant cousin bought it, reconstructed the inside and began selling pizza but closed then after and sold to someone who named it "the Tin plate" (didn't last long at all lol..) and now the current owners - which is a perfect fit. Always top tier service, so SO glad to see this place serve its intended purpose exactly how it's supposed to be

The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered three dishes: the Norwegian herb-encrusted salmon over grilled root vegetables and quinoa, a New Orleans pasta with chicken, and a pistachio chicken open sandwich. Each one delivered. The salmon dish stood out for its char on the root vegetables and the quinoa, which had real texture and flavor. The dressing brought everything together in a way that felt considered, not just functional. The pistachio chicken sandwich was the sleeper hit. The chicken itself was exceptional, and it came paired with kettle chips that were better than any side chips have a right to be. The view of the water made the whole meal feel unhurried and easy, the kind of setting that makes food taste even better. Great food, attentive service, and a view that earns its mention.
