My group of 4 came for Monday night dinner. The restaurant was pretty quiet and service was quick! The quality of ingredients (produce and meat) was great although I wish there was more of a selection. Soup bases offered and sauce bar was standard. Overall this was a solid shabu shabu experience and I would come back.

Haven't been here in years and this place still delivers a quality shabu hot pot experience. They still have their all you can eat menu and I highly recommend this one. The preset hot pot experience is also worth it too. Options still include nicely thin cut meats such as angus beef, brisket, pork, chicken, lamb, and premium beef with my favorite being the brisket, a variety of noodles, and an assortment of vegetables, roots, and seafood that I love in hot pot. I don't think they have changed the recipe for their fixes broth. And as always, once all the food is cooked, that broth just becomes more flavorful. Also, there are different spice level sauces to dip your food in for extra flavor. Service is still attentive and delivering. I can tell the hot pot stations are aging. I could barely see the up and down buttons to control the temperature of our broths. But this establishment is still surviving and I can see why.

First time here. It was a clean restauran. We were immediately seated which was good. Selection of hot pit items was good, especially the meats. You have to order items via a check sheet. There was 3 of us so we ordered 3 orders scallops. We got 3 scallops. I miss places where you can grab what you want instead of ordering like this place. Overall it was good place for AYCE hotpot.

Food options aren't that big compared to other shabu like urban for an example. You cannot change your broth even though you're paying for all you can eat. I will say, the meat quality looked amazing compared to other places. But their overall menu and veggie and soup options aren't great. I do not think I will be returning anytime soon. Service was alright, kind of felt rushed even with 1.5 hours to go before they closed.... Ambiance is clean and typical Korean place but the service was blah. Veggies were limited..... everything was blah Besides the quality of their meat. That I have to give 4/4.

Great selection for the all you can eat! The broth choices are flavorful and not too overpowering. The service made sure to check on you when they could even when super busy. I would recommend checking in this place out and trying that all you can eat menu.

Went on a whim to gom shabu shabu since it was 15min away from me and it was delicious. Thankfully I had been to a hot pot place recently and realized that they have all the broth spices and meat dipping sauces on a island buffet in the middle, so I didn't miss out on that this time! The waitress came by to take our order almost immediately and everything came out right quick after we would ask for something. She even filled our broth without asking. Would definitely come again

They have a menu, but unless you don't plan on eating much, all you can eat is the way to go. That way you can sample a variety of meats, vegetables, seafood, and more. Great place to eat like no tomorrow with friends/family. Keep the temperature setting in mind as the pot can overflow if you boil it too much. Set the temperature somewhere between 500 and 1200 depending on if you are waiting or actively cooking food and give it one or a few minutes to cook. Service is fairly fast. Ambience is good - it can get crowded during dinner hours though.

Always a great experience at this location. Service is much better than Annandale. The food is so good and always hits the spot! Good place for date night but they also accommodate larger crowds with ease too! I recommended using extra bowls/plate to dump your food on so it doesn't overcook and so you don't burn your mouth. Ask for a few papers when you sit and just press the button when you need something from the servers

Currently it's $35 for all you can eat. While this isn't a bad AYCE price, I'd expect to have more options for the dishes. The pickings are on the slimmer side compared to other AYCE hot pot/shabu shabu but enough to still leave you full and satisfied. One thing I haven't seen at other places is the option to order a house sauce. I personally loved the Less Spicy one but the Non-Spicy and Spicy we're also good. I did not like the Medium Spicy and didn't try the Very Spicy. I like how the side dishes come out in small servings so you can figure out what you like. The meat comes out in larger serving sizes which, in my opinion, is phenomenal. Overall I'm glad I tried it but it doesn't make my favourite list.

Stopped here for our Wednesday night meal after setup. For those of you who are fans of my Yelp - usually setup day at conventions are Thursday. So we were a day early. This is Vog's favorite hot pot place, and I had been here several years ago with our buds. On that trip I was a little in over my head and didn't know really how to negotiate it all and just threw in the towel - but this time I decided to lock in. For first-timers this is an AYCE where you pick meats and vegetables and they bring them to you raw and you cook them in your pot making different foods. You are able to pick the spice level of the sauce they bring you or you can go to the sauce bar and make your own. We had several items - lamb, brisket, beef, corn, zucchini, carrots, lettuce wraps, ramen, rice, etc. we made lettuce wraps with the meats and sauce, ramen dishes with the noodles- and the rice they bring out is already cooked. I almost forgot - you can also order dumplings as part of the AYCE and drop them in your hot pot to cook them - as they come precooked but flash frozen. This trip was way better - they handled us way better, Vog was in his element holding court and making sure we all were dialed in and kept it going to insure a good meal. Overall I really liked this place - and just as a recommendation - when you're cooking - keep your pot at 1000 - when waiting for refills drop it to 500. Good meal - would come back.

Fresh ingredients for the AYCE option!
Rachel K.

COVID - they have plastic shields up between booths We went for the AYCE option and albeit sortof expensive ($27 per person), i think it's completely worth! The meat (amongst other things) is extremely fresh and high-quality; definitely try with the udon noodles, cabbage, and enoki mushrooms if you're unsure :) The service was extremely fast and efficient; felt very satisfied with my lunch here!

Evelyn and Brenna were super attentive, checking in just the right amount and making helpful suggestions when we asked about specials. They made everything feel seamless, so we could just focus on enjoying the food and drinks. Speaking of food... HOT POT HEAVEN. I loved the all-you-can-eat selection here which included unlimited meats, seafood, fresh veggies, noodles, and more. My go-to broth will always be the tom yum! It is bold, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with literally everything here. For about $14.99-$19.99, you can upgrade your hot by adding premium A5 wagyu, snow crab, or a whole lobster. It's so worth it! For Lunar New Year, Hot Spot is running a deal right now where you buy 3 drinks, get 1 free, which is perfect for trying a few different ones! All in all, I can't recommend Hot Spot enough. I'll absolutely be coming back again and again!

We tried the Gingerbread Shooter, Yule Mule, and Mistletoe Martini, which were festive and fun additions to the meal. The AYCE hotpot is priced at $32.99 per adult. Nicole chose the Tom Yum broth, while I went with the Herbal Chicken Broth, both flavorful and comforting. For proteins, we ordered a generous spread including Prime Ribeye Beef, Fatty Brisket, A5 Japanese Wagyu, Pork Belly, Fish Cakes/Fish Balls, Lobster Balls, and Fish Tofu. The A5 Japanese Wagyu ($19.99 per order) was absolutely worth the upgrade--rich, tender, and indulgent. For starches, we selected Clear Noodles and Kalguksu, and our vegetable lineup included Napa cabbage, Bok choy, Crown Daisy, Baby Corn, Kabocha Squash, Enoki Mushrooms, Straw Mushrooms, and Tofu Skin Rolls, giving us a great variety of textures and flavors. Nicole skipped the dipping sauce, while I stuck with my go-to combo of soy sauce, minced garlic, and fresh parsley. Overall, it was a satisfying and fun hotpot experience with plenty of options and great value, especially for groups or anyone looking to indulge in a wide variety of ingredients.

They also have a buffet bar with seafood, dipping sauces, and a variety of items you can add to your hot pot and/or BBQ, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is clean, especially the buffet bar. One small note: the high chair could use a better wipe-down. As for the food, the meats were flavorful and delicious, with decent portion sizes. The spicy pork belly is still my favorite -- always a win. I wasn't a fan of the hot pot broth, though; it lacked flavor and seasoning for my taste. The fish cakes and kimchi were a bit salty, but still tolerable. Service was mixed. I really appreciated that the staff handled most of the cooking -- after going to so many Korean BBQ spots, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the food. Some servers were very attentive, while others weren't as engaged. Overall, if you already love Honey Pig, this location is definitely a must-try. We'll for sure be back, but we'll skip the hot pot next time and stick to the BBQ.

We did the bbq and hot pot because we have to try all. They offer a lot of options and we thought we were going to be able to conquer it but we were defeated. We only ordered meat once for both and we were so stuffed. We had their sides buffet -kimchi, veggies, seafood, dumplings, fishcakes, rice, noodles. You can make your own sauce and they have so much to offer. The cutest thing is the robot that brings us our meat. Lunch was so good that I had to bring my hubby a couple of days later for supper. I told my hubby about lunch and he wanted to try it out too. Servers were nice and I ordered soju. They didn't have the one I wanted but they had other ones that I like as well too. This time, we didn't stuff ourselves with the other things, we made it simple, lettuce, kimchi, more garlic, pickled daikon, sauces to make a wrap with. I also had some seafood too. No hotpot this time as well. All their meats were delicious. Great place to take a date, friends or anyone with whom you like to spend your time with. If it's your first time, no worries, the servers will help and guide you.

Great service (oddly they're all REALLY attractive Asian guys... save for the front desk girl - and I'm a straight, married, asian male), prices are great for the quality of meat and service you get (they cook for you) They come with the little appetizer plates like most Korean restaurants do, and they all have their own little twist to them, not super vanilla but still keeping to their roots and simple flavors. The green onion one was particularly memorable Our side dishes were excellent. Cheesy corn and seafood pancake. Both come out in cast iron pan, so it's piping hot and super fresh. Corn is hella cheesy and paired great with the appetizers. The seafood pancake was DENSE - really packed with seafood and not so much filler We got their combo so it came with kimchi soup and egg soufflé. The soup was very simple, very spicy. The soufflé was a nice contrast - light, fluffy, honestly almost felt like a desert. We definitely done made a mistake because for two of us, by this time the meats were ready to be cooked, we were about 60% full - and there were 4 meats to cook through We got brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, and another beef I don't remember - ended up taking about 1/3 of it home and half the pancake Our server was attentive and busy managing other tables so it's great to see all these guys staying sharp Considering how much food we took home, the bill was quite reasonable. Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach this time tldr; fantastic kbbq served by ridiculous hot Asian guys. You need a reservation to get a table here
