Where do I start? Bought unlimited passes for the family yet didn't even get 3 rides/attractions completed in 3 hours even though wasn't super busy. Luckily they scanned our wrist bands when we got in line for go-carts as it was 3 and a half hours when we finished that ride. We never even stopped to eat or go to the bathroom, just went directly to each ride. The unlimited bands actually cost us $40+ more than if we were to buy the rides separately. They wouldn't give partial refund, claimed manager wasn't on site. Everything was run extremely inefficiently, they could've got many more people through the lines if they really wanted to. The arcade was terrible. Almost half of the machines were either out of order or partially broken. I'm not exaggerating about that either, it was almost half of the machines. read more

Golfland is incredibly overpriced for what it is. I remember having my 8th birthday party at Golfland in Mesa in 1990-- it doesn't look like the place has been upgraded, or even properly maintained, since then. The price of a 3 hour fun pass w/ arcade card for 2 children was $71. 2 medium lemonades cost $8.12. Multiple arcade games were out of service. The attractions, like the bumper cars and bumper boats did not have attendants; instead you had to push a button on a Ring door bell (literally a residential Ring door bell) and wait 5+ minutes for someone to show up. Checking in to get wrist bands and game cards took 15 minutes; I was the only person in line. No one knew what they were doing, or how to validate tickets purchased online. The mini golf was okay. Worst $80 I have ever spent. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. Checked the water park schedule during Fall Break and picked a day to take the kids. They were very excited. Showed up and they decided the day before to close the water park for the rest of Fall break. Seems like if they were losing money on the water park during fall break they could've learned their lesson and made changes next year, instead of the next day. its a fun place to go if your rich and ok with half the slide being closed. we got ice cream and the lady forgot which ice cream was which and was sniffing them and then handed it to us and said i don't know which one is which. the milkshakes also took like 10 minutes to be made and the fries tasted like salted cardboard. not to mention you have to pay $60 to get in and then there's like 2 fun rides that are open until 8:20 which is 40 minutes before they say it's goung to close. also dont bring water with you because they are going to make you dump it out and the only water fountains they have need new filters and give warm water. the lazy river is filthy and we even found a diaper in the wave pool definitely don't recommend going your better off going to one of the high schools with a pool. read more

No outside food or snacks allowed but it takes at least an hour to get your food when you order inside the park. The water park itself is awesome, but it sucks you have to wait so long to eat, yet can't bring in your own food. You should buy tickets online to save a significant amount of money. My friends and I went here last night every thing was going fine until we got to the go karts. We all got into the go karts and we were in the process of buckling up and hearing the rules. My buckle was to loose and I didn't know how to tighten it so I looked over at one of the workers to see if he could help me. He was very nice, gentle, and explained what I need to do. As he was helping me the other worker came over, said nothing and tighten the buckle as tight and aggressive as she could. As we started driving my kart was bouncing like crazy to where I almost couldn't drive it. It also didn't help that the worker that was very aggressive started yelling in the speakers sounding very upset telling us to stop driving and she did that about 3 times. After we all got off my friends also said how rude and aggressive that worker was and how it was very hard to drive. The go karts were so bad, I'm brused on my back and legs and I'm very sore. Saturday Morning Mania reminds me of my childhood sat mornings where I would hit a local place like this to perfect my video game & putt putt skills. Only get 3 hrs of unlimited games but for $10 & no kids naggin me for quarters/tokens I ain't mad!!! I think the rate is now $12 but so with the money. With summer here, do the mini golf 1st... pick one of 3 courses, I suggest the one to the far left, it had plenty of shade throughout. Sunsplash itself was enjoyable. Paid for nightsplash and golf land attractions all in one. Didn't make it to golfland because the food we ordered took an hour and a half to come out. (3- 3 chicken strip meals and a funnel cake). The lady at the counter had no idea how to work the register or what she was doing. Said they were understaffed and were almost out of ice so we would have to skip our drinks or wait until our food came out to get them. We chose to get a few monsters and a Powerade instead (they weren't even discounted). $76 dollars later and I didn't get any sauces so I went up to the counter and asked for a few ranches, the guy very rudely said "um you need to pay for those" after waiting in line for 45 min to order and an hour and a half for my food. So I waited in line another 45 min to order ranches. The funnel cake was rock hard. The lady at the register kept asking kitchen staff questions about absolutely everything and they were getting annoyed and making faces at her. Absolutely do not recommend. Will be going somewhere else. Not worth the money. We also did laser tag. My vest/gun didn't work at all. Took the fun out of us all playing. When it was over and I stood to the side by myself the whole time, I told the lady my vest was broken she just said thanks, then let the next group in. I will not be coming back here. Security guard was extremely rude to me and my family. He took away my babies food and told me I couldn't bring it into the park. I told him that i read the guidelines before coming in and it says that I could bring in baby food in plastic container. It wasn't even much and decided to tell me that's not baby food. Water park itself was great. So much fun. Only criticism is concessions. Management needs new operations, kids working were understaffed and under trained. I felt so bad for them. They were working their butts off however management sets them up to fail. Customers being irate at them doing their best didn't help. Well. The website says that the place opens at 10. Very misleading because Sunsplash doesn't open until 11. The process of actually getting a wristband was so aggravating. There are NO signs, the staff has no clue. A bunch of teenagers who don't get paid enough so they're aholes basically. Brief description of my time at Sunsplash... So, I was at the Waterpark, in the wave pool. The wave pool is a simulated ocean with waves. Carter has discovered that the waves are biggest by the wall. So, as per (kid)'s wish, I left the serenity of my spot in the center. I went over to the wall And waited. Finally the blasters blast, the horn sounds and here come the waves. I'm doing good at first. Keep in mind that I'm still in a knee brace this whole time, trying not to move wrong. Then I get pushed in the face by the wave, I gotta wipe my eyes now, no time!!!!! Another wave knocks me down. I'm trying to get up but everytime I get up, I get knocked right back down It was frickin violent man! I was literally rolling from the "ocean" to the beach area. I got up, felt good, another wave so I hold onto the wall. Its slippery as f!!! I slip right onto my butt. Then the rolling resumes. My bathing suit top is like a tank top. Luckily it has elastic at the boobs. It was all the way up over my face. This lady and her little girl were very concerned. Im all "No, I'm cool., just gotta get out!" SPLASH!! Im down again. Today I cancelled my membership after their attempts to force me to allow them to collect and store my biometric data. Easiest mini golf course was closed, and the other 2 tracks were so confusing that we ended up on the harder track. The fire alarm went off while we were there and no one cared. Such a fun place and great for all ages. Went with my family during the day. No waits and felt very clean and open! We played putt putt.. (I recommend doing 36 holes. It's a great deal.) My only issues were that the food is over priced for the quality and you're not allowed to bring in your own food, so that leaves customers feeling trapped and kind of played. Do not go here. I took my son and a few family members here for his 3rd birthday. To start, when purchasing the tickets about 3 weeks ago, there was nothing on the website saying half of the slides AND the lazy river were going to be closed. When we arrived we were asking for information from one of the supervisors who was completely rude regarding the closures and said we could just refund all of our tickets if we didn't like that they were closed. The park is incredibly unorganized. There is no official sign showing you the front door. They have water park guests walk through the dark, dirty, and smelly arcade to toll booths that are hidden in a corner to redeem your wrist bands. Following a very confusion check in I was told for the cabana rental I purchased that I would need to go to a different desk on the opposite on the water park to get to our cabana. It took 20 minutes for the girl working the cabana reservations to figure out what to do. All we needed was to be checked in and to be shown where the cabana was. When arriving at the cabana there was trash, the chairs were locked up, all of the shade coverage was broken, and the fan should hardly be called a fan. I've been to many water parks and this one is an absolute disaster. The staff have no idea what's going on, they were rude in return, our cabana seemed like it hadn't been fixed or cleaned in 10 years. I will not be returning and am very disappointed with having to pay what I paid for the low level of cleanliness and staff support. read more

Was planning a MeetUp event to go here on a Saturday morning. Get there and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed for a private event "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE". It's more than an inconvenience! I was cominging from Peoria, you @*%&$ owe me a half tank of gas and two hours of my Saturday back!!! Had to cancel the event last minute, 12 people's Saturday plans shot in the foot. If you're going to close for a private event, put a banner on your main webpage AND have someone to answer the phones the morning of. I looked on both the webpage and called and there was nothing posted and nobody answering the phones at 9:15 when they say they open at 10. Get home and double checked and there IS a notice on the website. You have to click PLAN YOUR VISIT and then click on SPECIAL EVENTS to see a little 2 inch box notice about it. Most people won't look for that!!! Not that they need my money, but I will never TRY to go here again! read more

Fun, but lacking upkeep. The cabanas need new panels that actually close. We purchased our tickets/cabana rental online but still had to wait in two different lines to get two different wristbands. Then had to wait at the cabana for someone to unlock the chairs. Getting someone to unlock the cabana chairs took 30 minutes of asking passing employees to help us..."sorry. I'm not able to do that" is what each of them told us. I finally made a call where I was told to go stand in line for a third time. When I stated I was not willing to do that since it didn't work the previous two times they finally agreed to send someone over. We ordered food to be delivered and ended up having to call about that as well. Was again told to go pick it up... we paid to have it delivered, why would we load the kids up and walk across the park to pick up an order we placed as a delivery. When I explained this they agreed to deliver it. We were served cold pizza and fries, no plates, napkins or ketchup. When I asked about that I was told "oh you'll have to get that you can't request that on the app" then what's the point of the app or delivery if it's not convenient!? Aren't napkins and plates standard with food!?! Over 400$ spent to feel as tho we are inconveniencing the employees. Policies are not consistent between the outside and inside attractions. We made the height requirement inside when they measured us for the race car but was turned away when trying to ride. The measurements are false and should be changed. The staff at the race cars were rude as well. read more

Even when my food order was incorrect and the manager came out they didn't even want to speak with me or provide a resolution other then give me a refund. My family goes once a year and has a blast. We will keep going back and I have very few negative things to say. However, I looked for an email address on their website to directly send a suggestion, but didn't see one, so I'll place it here and hope it's seen by management. Yesterday my kids and I waited in line for awhile to ride the Thunderstorm. If you've ever been here you know it's a hike to the top with the massive 4-person tube. My heart broke for a teenage boy in front of us who got all the way to the top, just to be weighed and told he was over the limit. He had to make the sad walk down... shimmying past all of the other kids waiting to ride. I understand this is for safety BUT why not have the weight limits clearly posted at the bottom of the ride? Why not have limits posted (by ride) at the ticket counter with a discreet scale for someone to weigh themselves prior to purchasing their ticket or standing in a long line just to be publicly humiliated? I looked on the website and it's not listed there either. How are families with an obese child supposed to prepare? Please do better and save these kids from that kind of humiliation on a day that's supposed to be exciting and fun. Lastly, when standing in line to get our tickets (about 30 minutes in the AZ heat) I noticed there were actually fans above us but they weren't on. As I looked up, I couldn't believe how nasty they were (see pics). It's likely been years since these were cleaned. It would have been nice to have these blowing down on all the families as we waited (after being cleaned of course)! read more
