The tailor is not only so experienced but also reads trends so well. I brought my first dance (for my wedding) dress to her to attach straps that I bought separately. She recommended what would fit me the most and also gave me some suggestions on other things. I sent an inquiry to Golden Thread a few months before my wedding and received an almost instantaneous reply. From there on out, my communication with Golden Thread via text was amazing and always prompt. I took my wedding dress in for alterations. We hemmed the dress, shortened the train, let out my waist, adjusted the shoulders, and other minor alterations. Writing an update with my finished dress now that the wedding is over. EVERYONE loved my dress and it was a miracle that it fit after being too small, too long, and too tight in the wrong spots. Golden Thread let the dress out all way through the hip and thigh, took up length, removed heavy additional under-layers, talked me out of unnecessary shapewear, fixed a broken strap, added 3 bustles, and then brought back in in the spots where we no longer needed the extra space. My dress was an all-over crocheted lace, so every change was extra difficult, but Golden Thread even worked with me on the price and types of changes to keep things within what I budgeted.
