My friend joined me for her pedicure, and the staff was so accommodating, they let me sit in the pedicure chair while she got hers done and even started half of my nails there so I could enjoy the chair massage just a little more! Dan the Man did my nails, and I am thrilled with them. He knew exactly what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. $55 for a full gel set, clean, friendly, great service... and the margaritas? The perfect touch. Approved by Yelp Austin Elite and definitely worth a visit!

She fixed the shape of my nails and made sure I loved the design. They are offered me a drink and were very polite the whole time. The best part is that they are open late until 8! I'll definitely be coming back.

Seems silly not to honor it. So basically this gift certificate is NOT like cash. It's a shame bc I'm a realtor who works with LOTS of people moving to Austin every month, very short sided of this business owner. As a realtor I do things sometimes that aren't in my best interest but are in the best interest of my clients bc it's the RIGHT THING TO DO and yes, when you treat people right they send you even more business. She's the owner, she could make an exception. Why does it really matter if someone comes past the expiration date. In reality it doesn't, there is no tax ramification or any legitimate business reason. Owners make exceptions for their clients and I would have of course tipped. So she potentially lost out on LOTS of $$ bc she didn't want to honor a $35 gift certificate. Very short sided.

My pedicure that normally takes at least 30 minutes was done in 20 and you can tell because the polish and cuticles are messy and the nails are crooked. Disappointing because it's so close to my house and I used to feel like I got good service here. I did mention that I think the polish job was done a little too quick and that it was bumpy and all that was done was an extra coat on top so most likely it's going to take my nails a whole day to dry, which I don't have. When I wake up in the morning, they are probably going to be even more messy. I will say, everyone here is very nice, but the lack of attention to schedule I think is causing the problems. I will not be back.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with John was by far the worst I've had here. Not only was the quality of his work extremely disappointing, but his attitude and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. He glued my nail tips on crooked, and when I pointed it out, he became visibly irritated and aggressively shoved my hand into the UV lamp. He also trimmed my nails far shorter than I requested, and when I asked him to file them into the shape I wanted, he was unwilling to make the adjustments. For an $80 service, the final result was incredibly disappointing. My nails look poorly done, and the entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I genuinely like this salon and several of its technicians, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Customers should be able to communicate their preferences and expect basic professionalism, respect, and quality service, especially at this price point. Unfortunately, John fell far short of those expectations.

So I've been coming here for years, I used to love this nail salon. Recently they've made a few…read morechanges and it's unfortunate. A few months ago I went in to get the dip, it's what I prefer, then the nail tech told me acrylic was better. She said it would be cheaper to get it filled every time versus a whole new set with the dip. I was paying around 60-70 with the dip for reference. She also said it would be healthier for my nails, so I reluctantly gave in. I wasn't super happy with the outcome but I didn't feel like addressing it. So a few weeks later I took my teenager to get her nails done and I got a fill. My teen got designs, a new set and gel polish so her nails were understandably 75.00, I got a fill with a solid color, nothing extra, and it was 70.00. I asked why it was so expensive at the register and they said maybe it was because they trimmed my nails, but they did not so I let him know. They took 5.00 off. So I still paid 70.00 for a fill. I could have just gotten the nails I originally wanted. So after that, I had decided I was just no longer going to be getting my nails done. It's not worth it. They have outpriced their customers. But for my birthday I got a gift card so I decided to use it to get my nails taken off, and that solidified my decision to stop going completely. So when I'm getting a new set they take the time to gently soak off your nails, but if you're just having them removed they drill your nails down aggressively. I told the girl several times it was painful, that did not seem to stop her. I sat there anxious, sick to my stomach because it was so uncomfortable. I spoke up several times, which is unlike me in situations like this. So after I give my nails a break I'll find a new nail place, because as much as I loved this place, it's no longer consistent. You never know what you're going to get and the prices are insane. So if I'm going to pay 70-80 for basic nails I'd rather have EXACLY what I want.

I walked in around 6:20pm on Friday April 1st. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm. But I requested a mani and pedi and none of the 3 ladies there said anything about closing up soon. The pedi was good and no complaints on that end. My mani was rushed. At this point i picked up on the vibe after she kept starring at the clock. Not nice or pleasant at all. At times she came off as annoyed. I didn't realize they closed at 7pm until I walked to the counter to pay and realized I was the only one there and the other two employees were sitting in the spa/pedi chairs with their purses ready to go. I wished they would have said something and saved us all the uncomfortable feeling. I would have understood and just gotten the pedi. Anyway, As far as quality goes today is April 5th the pedi is still holding up okay. But my finger nails are horribly chipped. honestly expected at least a week out of them. Again I'm not even mad about it. It was a whole $16 for a basic manicure with regular polish, so I guess you get what you pay for.
