Adrar, you rock! The only thing that makes me inch towards buying at the boutique over big box stores with amazing return policies: finding that sales associate that goes above and beyond. I honestly thought he was the manager of the place with how he presents himself. First off- I'm a Nordstrom loyalist and will ALWAYS shop there over the main boutique. However, went here on a whim because it was closer and wanted to see all style options. Adrar made us feel at home and wasn't pushy to purchase anything. When I experience things like this, I'm 100% more inclined to purchase, and we did just that. Mom & I left with a piece each + wasn't expecting to spend today. I finally got my first pair of Golden Goose! I have to admit, I wasn't so sure about buying already scuffed up looking shoes. I mean, I can scuff up the shoes I have and call it a day. But I've seen people wearing them so I was curious. I went ahead and ordered a pair of shoes online and I picked them up at the Golden Goose store inside South Coast Plaza. They were ready for pickup the next day! The store itself is cute with a variety of shoes and clothes for purchase. I told the nice guy that I was picking up an online order. He brought me the shoes and I tried them on. They fit perfectly! I did ask why are the shoes scuffed. He explained the back story; the shoes are to be a reminder of our memories from the past, like a postcard. He described it so much better than me and it made sense. He was super helpful and just overall a nice guy. I forgot to ask him his name. Ugh! The store also offers customized options and has a bunch of jewels you can add. This is something that I will most definitely have to look into next time. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service at this Golden Goose location. I purchased a pair of sneakers and after wearing them just once, the leather on the right shoe showed a clear defect. I called the store and was told to email customer service. After doing so, I was asked to forward multiple photos -- the original receipt, both shoes, soles, and insides -- which I provided. Customer service then forwarded my case to the South Coast Plaza store, and I received a call 7 days later. I was asked again to resend all the same pictures to the store, which I did -- and then... nothing. Despite numerous follow-up emails to both the store and customer care, I never heard back, it's been over 3 weeks. This has been a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I will never purchase another pair of Golden Goose sneakers from this location. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly disappointing. read more

I just have to say Jordan the manager has the worst attitude and treated me like garbage. I have never felt so be littled and judged . From the moment I walked in there she was horrible. She almost Didn't give me a chance to even try On the next size. I had Bought shoes through the Chicago store and they felt tighter than the pair I have. So I wanted to try on the next size just Incase . I had to ask her , well can I try on the next size at least . She said the shoes I brought in to exchange were worn and I have to take it to customer service . Which is 100% wrong . She wouldn't even give me the time of day after that. I had worn them around my home to see if I can handle the size and I barely last a half hour . She honestly shouldn't be in retail with how Horrible Her Customer service is . I have been wanting a pair of golden goose sneakers for some time. I finally went to Nordstrom to purchase a pair, but they only had one style in my size. I learned there was an actual boutique at the SCP, so went back, to hopefully purchase my first pair. I have 2 babies under the age of 2, so I planned on it being a quick purchase. When I went into the store, one associate was helping another customer, so I just hung out. Two people came in after me and a woman associate quickly came out to help them. I walked up and stood a little behind them, to show I was interested in assistance after. The two guests told the associate they were just looking and to help the other customer; the woman associate looked at me and turned around. It's a very small store, so I know she saw me. I walked a few steps toward her and she turned, looked at me, and again, walked away! I said loud enough for her to hear, "I guess I'll go purchase these at Nordstrom". As I walked out of the store, she yelled out that she would help me. By then, I was happy to take my double stroller back over to Nordys nursing and family friendly store to spend my money there. read more

I walked in and two people were working the floor neither said hello, I proceeded to browse around and check out the shoes . I finally found a pair of shoes I was interested in and literally had to death stare someone until I finally got there attention that is when I had pleasure of Zhoann ( Anna) and I say that very sarcastically of helping me. I asked her for the availability of the shoe and she went to grab it , she then asked me if I have a profile with them I give her my Bfs name because it is in his name ( never mattered before) As she's ringing me up she proceeds to ask me for ID I was a little taken aback by it because one as many Golden goose stores I've been to Ive never been asked this before . I tried to think of it for security purposes but I was paying with a debit card. Then she proceeds to ask me if me and my BF live together because she will have to send the package in his name. NOW! if im buying the shoes with my money and my card why do you need to send it in his name?!. I didn't want to think this was a race thing but it defiantly felt like it especially since I witness the customer in front of me get her purchase with ease and didn't have to show any ID. I love this store! The two girls working in the shop were so sweet and helpful. Starting with my phone call to find out where they were located to assisting me with finding shoe models that we not displayed on the floor to making me laugh, and most of all chatting with my boyfriend and keeping him happy while I shopped. There are so many cool shoes to choose from and they have a larger selection than the department stores. Went to this location, I live in Hollywood. To my surprise the team here was by far the most friendly , knowledgeable , and professional that I have come across so far. To be so honest I don't think there is a better golden goose boutique in California when it comes to customer service and product. Their co-creation section is absolutely amazing , Janan is so amazing she is such a great artist along with being extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to their products, she is literally an asset to the company and deserves a raise in my opinion (do what you want with that HR). I wish I lived closer because I want this store to be the only one I shop at when it comes to golden goose especially compared to other experiences I've had (melrose). Jordan the manager is amazing as well she's very friendly and knows how to take care of her clients. If I could offer more stars I would. I see there are negative reviews about this location but I really don't see how any of those make sense. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. 12/10 read more

It's always a shame when you're really into a brand and you want to go support it but your experience ends up falling short. I was looking to buy a few pairs as I'm an avid fan of the brand. I have 12 pairs and shopped abroad as well. I walked in and was just looking around. I saw that the associates were busy so I'd thought I'd wait for one to free up. I already saw a few pairs I was interested in. One had just finished their client interaction and I just hovered looking at the shoes. They ended up talking to someone that came in after me even though they had noticed me in the store first. The customer declined and they still didn't approach me. So I just went up to them and asked to try on two shoes. The other shoe was a woman's shoe so they didn't have my size which was fine. I ended up taking the other shoe that I had selected. That interaction took a total of maybe 30 seconds for me to just slip the shoe on to see that it was my size. I agreed to purchase it. At this point they went to bag up the shoe. Didn't even ask if there was anything else I wanted to look at. I had to request if they had anything else that might have not been on display. At that point I was pretty turned off by the interaction and I didn't want to spend any more money with someone who clearly didn't want to assist in the first place. It's kind of sad because I also work in luxury retail and I know what it's like and I know how tiring it can be. At the end of the day I could've spent way more if they had just greeted me to begin with. I've purchased most of my golden goose from Nordstrom as it's the only one close by but I drove up because I was excited to see and experience my first store here in the US. I'm sad to say that even though I do love this brand I'll probably end up sticking to shopping online or just purchasing through Nordstrom unless I happen to go to Rodeo. read more
