2 piece breast and a wing with fries and coleslaw and a roll!
    Matt M.

Good food at a good price. Friendly and quick service! This is great fried chicken! I dined in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I ordered a 2 piece combo with breast and a wing. I got coleslaw for my side with the combo and added fries as an additional side. The combo included a drink and fresh warm roll! This is just good southern style eating! The chicken was hot, moist, and delicious! The sides were all good. I really enjoyed the fries! The sweet tea was great! I highly recommend this location!

Decided to try this place today since you know i was hungry. We ordered the two piece cat fish meal ($7.99) with a roll, fries and coleslaw, tender sandwich ($7.19) with mac and cheese, chicken leg, and some peppers. The fish was good a little salty but still very tasty. The fries were seasoned fries and crispy, coleslaw was creamy and crunchy, and the chicken leg was not well seasoned but still okay. I asked for a wing but got a leg, but since i like both i just kept it. What we were disappointed in was the tender sandwich. It was two small tenders in there fresh roll they give you. Nothing else was on it. No sauce, lettuce or tomato just plain. The mac and cheese was really food and creamy just like i like it. What surprised us was the ice cream machine. You get free ice cream when you eat in the restaurant. At first it was good but really really sweet. It's just a vanilla soft serve but it tasted like it may have been made with sweet rice milk. Either way we enjoyed our food and will return.

I am giving Golden Chick 5 stars based on what it is - a fast food restaurant. We hadn't been before and decided to walk in and eat before the annual Round Rock Christmas festival. The food was really fresh, the service was great and everything was spot on. It wasn't fine dining, but honestly, a very solid meal for a quick service restaurant. We ordered 13 tenders, 3 rolls, a side of gravy and okra. That was plenty for my husband, myself and our 2 and 5 year olds (who eat a lot!) The bathroom was clean and stocked with soap and paper towels and they even had little ice cream cones for the kids for after dinner free of charge. It was a great first experience.

Customer service was excellent and so were the chicken wings. Super hot and super fresh. I would go again and try the spicy wings.

I love a good smash burger, and these are seasoned well, straight forward, and very delicious. And oh the fries - fabulous! So crispy and the perfect compliment to our burgers. We got both the regular and seasoned fries and were not disappointed. My daughter declared the seasoned fries the best she's ever had. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the tables are nice and large for all the food we devoured. The tables were also very clean, and seemed like the staff was on top of keeping everything sparkling. The staff were super friendly, and I saw someone walking around the restaurant multiple times to check in with tables, and meet any unforeseen needs. One of the best decisions we made was ordering shakes. Holy moly. So thick and creamy. According to my hubby their season key lime shake was like drinking a literal key lime pie. He's not wrong. My kids ended up getting spoons to make their way closer to the bottom of the deliciousness. What a treat! We'll be back.

Cooked to order, juicy and full of flavor. That buttered, toasted bun? Soft with just enough crisp to hold everything together without falling apart. And yes--everything that was supposed to come on the burger actually showed up. (We love consistency.) The mushroom and Swiss burger deserves its own moment. Those butter-sautéed mushrooms with garlic and seasoning paired with the Swiss cheese? Whew. That's the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-chew. Now the chocolate malt... listen. Thick, creamy, made with fresh frozen custard and real dairy--it didn't even make it to the "perfect picture" stage because I was already in it. It was that good. Friendly drive-thru service, minimal wait, and prices that didn't make me side-eye my receipt. Culver's came back strong on this one. And just like that... I'm back in.

Culver's is smaller burger chain around Austin, we hit them up last Saturday around 6-7pm on 30May2026 (just in case management is trying to isolate the issue) It was busy but not crazy and we thought... oh yea... they are cranking out orders!!! This is a people review not a food review... it was just lame people stuff Running the drive thru was a 30 yo lady who looked like a 45 yo Daniel Cormier... 20 Minutes later (4 cars in front us) we get the food.. good enough! NOW... We want management to see what we see... Daniella (don't know her name, buzz cut hairdo) can't seem to figure out how to focus on taken orders and taking payment... we couldn't hear her because she had the mic too far away...instead focusing on work, she look like the star at a comedy show making everyone laugh... giggling and chatting with her coworkers standing next to her while asking us to repeat the same order 3 different times... It was as if Daniella was challenging the world to say something... she oozed the confidence only true irreverence and contempt for accountability can yield!!! She tried to portray a crash out vibe... lame! Her attitude and personality are a cancer to success... she's an individual who wants to run a team, but doesn't know what she wants to do in life... she doesn't want to be good at drive thru work, I know that... she is infecting your workforce and leading the charge to being the reason why people will continue to complain about your location until she is called out and retrained with a purpose or dismissed... Clearly Daniella is special and her thoughts and feelings are more important than the task at hand... So she shows up and entertains herself by making life difficult for paying customers while she's getting paid... I wish I knew her real name, she was truly a pill of a person... I'm sure you know exactly who I'm talking about... just because those types tend to get weird attention as she remains simply an observer of her own life... a passenger who watches the autonomous nature of her attitude play out through her self justified poor behavior.... Yea sad, she'd rather be rude and non compliant than have a positive impact in the moment for the benefit of being good at your job... Oh... AND we got food sick after... that's why the review!! Is it possible Daniella is the manager, so maybe this is just normal... I noticed similar reviews as mine...

They are NOT a virtual kitchen - and it is just as well that they are not a virtual kitchen. They make it sound like Chronic Fries is borrowing space from Urban Chicken. Chronic Fries is not "borrowing space" from Urban Chicken. The two institutions are one and the same. The menu for one is printed on the back of the menu for other. They may have a complicated ownership structure - But that does not get around the fact that this is simply a fast food restaurant where you can order both chicken and fries. * * * I don't see why Chronic Fries would want to be a virtual kitchen. Virtual kitchens are awful antiseptic places where there is no place to sit down. In a virtual kitchen, you get your food from a numbered box. In a virtual kitchen, there is screen against a wall from which you order. Otherwise, you use your phone. It takes effort to make contact with a human being. Virtual Kitchens are total THX 1138. Virtual kitchens s**k. * * * Chronic Fries/Urban Chicken is a nifty place for a fast food restaurant. They have tons of seating both indoors and outdoors. The crowd is heavily college-age which may or may not be collegiate. The crowd is diverse the way Round Rock is diverse. The crowd has a lot of church kids the way Round Rock has a lot of church kids. My male companion and I were the oldest people in the place. Virtual kitchens don't have crowds - let alone young ones. * * * The fries are super-duper. (Okay, for a college aged place, I probably should have used a term less dated than "super-duper".) For the maximum french fry bliss experience, get any version with chicken on top. Some versions give you chicken automatically. All versions let you order chicken on top as an add-on. Urban Chicken does a good chicken And what goes on your French Fries will be top notch. We got three kinds of fries. The standout was the BBQ Mac and Cheese Fries. Hot Cheetos Fries were just what they sound like. The sides that don't have much Hot Cheetos on them are not all that interesting. You get to the part with industrial quantities of ground up Hot Cheetos on top and, Suddenly things start to go live action. Plain macaroni and cheese fries are not that exciting by themselves. But they sell about half a dozen sauces to put on top of your macaroni and cheese fries. Some of those look like they could make a real compelling argument That they belong on your fries If your toppings are not exotic enough already. * * * Just for the record, they also run a soft-serve operation. That soft-serve operation offers milk shakes as a possible beverage. Thumbs up on the soft serve milk shakes. Their version of an Oreo Milkshake has about a truckload of Oreo crumbs dumped on top. On a milkshake that means that the crumbs end up all on the bottom with your maraschino cherry. Why oh why, in the 21st century, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? Why oh why, in the 20th century, the 19th century, the 18th century or any century that you can possibly think of, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? The church kids eating at the various tables around you can probably explain to you that because Eve ate the Apple in the Garden of Eden - and Adam ate the apple too - that they were thrown out of the Garden of Eden - and forced to have maraschino cherries on top of their desserts. God's love and the Forgiveness of Jesus Christ gives you the really good Oreo Milkshake that surrounds that maraschino cherry. I have no idea if that theology is sound ... But the Oreo milkshake is objectively good And the difficulty of sucking up those Oreo crumbs with your straw Is the exact equivalent of attaining heaven merely by the force of good works. * * * First rate fries. First rate toppings. First rate drinks. A corporate office with an identity problem. And religious people to talk to in the seats If the fries inspire you to seek a higher way. * * * What's not to like? (Outside of the identity problem.)

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).

They offer two sizes, and we ordered the smaller regular Americana Cheesesteak, the Cartel, a shared order of fries, and two fountain drinks. Our total came to about $35, which felt like a good value for the amount of food. Service was friendly and they served our food to the table very fast. The fries were your typical frozen fries and came unseasoned, but that wasn't a big deal. We added our own seasoning. One thing to note is that they only serve Pepsi products. That's a big bummer for me because I'm a Dr Pepper girl, but it isn't a complete dealbreaker because they also offer tea. Now let's talk about my sandwich. It was loaded with so much meat that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth! I ended up taking some of the meat out and adding it to the fries, which turned out yummy. The steak was well seasoned, and the lettuce, tomato, and mayo ratio tasted perfect. If you're looking for a hearty cheesesteak that will definitely fill you up, Wise Guys is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!
