I reached out to Gold Image Printing about a print project and from the beginning the first representative that helped me was extremely helpful. I soon learned they just wanted to push me to production all to tell me that my idea of a simple circle foil stamp was too complex for them to complete. All I wanted was a circle gold foil emblem with two letters inside to be embossed in them. The email from Lea in production simply said "production declined." No idea for resolution or other ideas? They then declined to take any of my calls following up on the matter. Overall poor communication and unwilling to provide any type of decent customer service. I really hate to leave a bad review because I feel like I'm understanding of unforeseen circumstances but this has been such an unnecessary hassle on my end. I have ordered from them twice before, both times without issue. I ordered some next day turn around cards Nov 30. They weren't ready till Dec 6, not that long of a difference but I called every single day asking when it would be ready since Dec 1st. Every day they would say "tomorrow 4-5", every time without fail it would not be ready the next day as promised and I would have to call again the next day. I finally pick them up and realize that the notecards I had ordered to be printed on matte paper were fully glossy. I was so disappointed that I had waited almost a week after I had ordered for a print order not even done correctly. I called same day to get a reprint, they kept saying they escalate it to management to get approval. They denied it. They offered a refund and I said no because I really did need these notecards for Christmas gifts I had planned to mail out soon (mail delivery has been a mess). I finally got a hold of the manager and he blamed me for not knowing that ink sheen has to go on matte paper... I'm not a printing expert, when I pick matte, I'm assuming I'm gonna get matte. There's no disclaimer than an "ink sheen" will be on matte paper therefore not making it matte. We came to an agreement for a different type of paper and he promised it would be done same day, so Thursday Dec 8th. Well y'all, it's Dec 12, it's not ready and the same thing is happening. I've been calling since and everyday i call I get "it'll be ready tomorrow 4-5" and it's most definitely not ready the next day. I've honestly lost hope I'll ever get these cards. I wouldn't have left this review if they had been honest with me about when it would actually be ready instead of giving false hope every time I call that it would be ready by 4-5. Not to mention they tried to blame me for not knowing that when I order matte, it won't actually come out matte. All in all, I suggest going somewhere else that won't lie to their customers every time they call. read more

Terrible terrible terrible. Company advert for 2-3 day turn around and it took 2 weeks to print. 2 weeks. Finally get it and the sizing was INCORRECT. The dispute process is hell because the people who are answering the calls are from overseas so you have to hope they relay the message correctly to the actual print shop. They tired to make it right by offering a comp. reprint. Fair. First a sample was ordered to confirm correct sizing, it worked out. Told them to proceeded with the bulk order. I got a email saying the order was completed. Went to pick it up and it was ANOTHER sample order. Huh? WHERES the disconnect. Not only have I spent 100 on a driver to get there I have to do it again to pick up the bulk order, and your costing my business time and money. I called to talk to the manager and his response is "what do you want us to do about it." Pathetic. I'll never do business with them again. As a first and last time customer. read more

We ordered white linen invitations, a black detail card with white ink, and a custom size rsvp card. The sizing of my cards was very custom and GIP helped me bring my vision come to life and I am so grateful! We also did black envelopes with white ink printing. They gave us an incredible sample package with all the different styles and options. It was extremely helpful. I was always able to reach them by phone, and they were very kind and responsive. We did have a mistake on the first round of printing - and their customer service really pleased me as a client. No argument, they were very understanding and very accommodating. So disappointed with the service. This is my third time using gold image printing and it may be my last. My order was a day late, which I didn't mind as much. I waited closer to 45 mins at curbside pickup after numerous calls and messages regarding my arrival, which I minded a little bit but whatever. My prints came out much darker than the proof so I requested a reprint. No response, so I called. Customer rep promised reprint but no response after that. And now it's been 4 days of following up because there's been zero response and progress on the company's end. And now Christmas will be over before I can get my Christmas cards out. :( read more

Would not recommend this company to anyone. We placed an order for two signs for an upcoming event. Although we did receive one of the signs, some of the coloring and shaping was a bit weird. Nothing too significant though. However, even after letting them know via phone call over 5 times and confirming we wanted BOTH of our signs to be for pick up (in order to have them for our event), they did not adjust our order and decided to leave one of the signs to be shipped and one to be picked up. Therefore our second, and most important sign, will not be here in time for our event. They offered no solution, no refund. They were also quite rude on the phone. Hello 1 star because there is no option for zero This company promise 1 business day work and is they took a week to have it ready for me , when I called they said their machine broke and I was not aware , they didn't even bother to email me . When it was finally ready , I went to their curbside service (horrible ) I text that number and they didn't text me back , but another car got there after me and he went to knock on the garage door and a guy came out and gave him his order and left ignoring that I was waiting in front of the garage door with a sign " curbside pick up" and I was knocking the door and he just vanished , I had to go around to the main door and rang the bell and the guy came out and pretended he didn't see me and went to get my order . This is not curbside pick up , they don't have good service when picking up , neither on the phone because you call and wait and nobody pick up the phone. I will not order from this company again and I don't recommend it to anybody , I gave them a second chance because I ordered before and they took very long to have it ready . I have had, quite simply, the worst customer service experience of my life at Gold Image Printing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I ordered around $1,500 worth of 2-day printing services from GIP on August 23, and was told I would receive an invoice for the shipping costs once everything was printed. I was clear from the beginning that I needed my items for September 9th, for a charity event that I'm hosting -- which is why I purchased the items to begin with. I was clear on my timeline throughout the entire process. I received a text message that my order was ready for pick-up, and continued to follow up with them to tell them that I needed my items shipped, not picked-up, as I don't live in Los Angeles. It would often be 3 days between messages, and finally we reached September and I received an invoice for $1,000!?!? I pushed back on the cost, and was told that they would revise the shipping cost for me, but it would take a few days. Again, I expressed concern that I would not receive my items on time. Then, randomly out of nowhere I received a text message with a photo my items on a dolly and a no-context message that said "Please pay $950 so your items can ship." I tried to get in touch with someone, sat on hold for a while, and managed to get put in touch with someone over text, (never encountered a reputable business that discusses business over text, but whatever), who told me that their "management was getting angry" at them. Finally we got the price down (still $300 over budget), and before I agreed, I ensured that my items would be delivered by the 9th, which I was assured they were. Later that night (around 7pm on a Friday), I got a voicemail from someone different who said that they didn't have my shipping address. I called back immediately, no answer, and as it was Labor Day weekend, couldn't speak to someone until Tuesday the following week. Turns out, they did have my shipping address (?) and shipped out my items, however the arrival date is September 13th - 4 DAYS PAST THE DATE THAT I NEED THEM. No apologies. Only a "well what do you want me to do about it?" Asked for a refund on my items and I was told "after the 13th" if I didn't receive my items, they would "review" my inquiry about a partial refund but only if I reach out to their support email address (no one to actually speak to). I run a small non-profit. We do not have $2,000 to throw away like this. I am honestly heartbroken about this experience, because we have lost a significant amount of money (it might not be to some, but it is to us) and have to try to get our items elsewhere with only a few days notice. Non-transparent pricing, terrible customer service with slow response time, don't care about their customers. Go absolutely ANYWHERE else. read more

Great communication, easy ordering / pickup process, extremely reasonable price and the quality and speed at which the final product was delivered was superb. So when a weird personal art project came up I reached out to them for help. There was a slight delay caused by the requested lamination being unavailable, but Travis went above and beyond to resolve the issue and get me the custom product I had requested.
