Wow they helped us again with a last min project we had over the weekend and they came through. We needed a banner and a tablecloth for an influencer event and they delivered high quality signage and it was right on time. Thanks again! read more

So happy Playa Place is just around the corner from me. They are so helpful and SO kind. Customer service is 12/10. They print, ship and just found out they laminate as well. We all need to keep supporting local businesses read more

Still in business? The work they did for us is FIVE star worthy. The problem here is that I cannot get a callback from anyone. Some reviews have stated They've worked with them as recently as two months ago, but another says the location closed over 10 months ago. The retail store is physically still there and the owner has been active in keeping his Google location updated. Very confused as to why they don't return calls if they're still in business. read more

*Never fulfilled order and never processed refund* 10months of back and forth. Reached out to place our print order in July 2022, they got our order wrong 3-4 times over the course of 4 months... They would go days/weeks without responding to calls/emails. January 2023, still no order so we had to cancel and ask for a refund. It is now May 2023 and they have not processed a refund, as well as go lengths of time not responding to calls/emails. We are now forced to file a dispute with our bank in order to get our money back. I never spoke with anyone else besides Bryan, who seems nice enough, besides being non-responsive and never has an answer or reason why they were not able to fulfill our order correctly and not able to process a basic refund. read more

Printing Fly - closed down without notice to customers or those who had PO boxes - Printing Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

DO NOT TRUST THESE THIEVES! I had a PO Box at Printing Fly for a little over a year. Last November, they sent out a notice saying they were closing their doors (2 weeks later!). I was shocked and had to update all my business addresses, it was such a pain. Little did I know that was the start of my headaches. I had JUST paid my yearly "rent" for my PO Box, and they said they would issue a refund (since they closed less than a month after I paid for the entire year). They also said they would forward any mail that they received after they closed. Neither happened... I have called and emailed them for MONTHS requesting my rent (over $200) back and they never sent it. They also never forwarded my mail! Which is critical to my business. I think that is bordering a federal offense, right? To hold someones mail?! As a small business owner it was upsetting to me that another small business would do something like this. I truly don't understand how people can be so dishonest. STAY AWAY FROM PRINTING FLY. read more

They managed to help me get a letter sent off as well as a router I needed to shop back to ATT. The gentlemen who helped me was cooler than the other side of the pillow. I wish I remember his name but he has a sign on his desk. He sits to the left when you walk in. read more

I reached out to Printing Fly at the beginning of January and ordered 1000 business cards for my company (Worked with Bryan). Worst experience I have ever had with a business. Here is a timeline for ordering something as simple as business cards. It has taken 6 months and I still have only received half of my prepaid order. Jan 4th - I originally contacted them - Invoice received Jan 4th - Invoice for 1,000 cards was paid - $339.45 Jan 18th - Proof was approved (after asking for 2 updates) *** Invoice says 3-5 business days after approval Feb 6th - Followed up with them to check the status of the order and gave them a new shipping address. Feb 27th - Following again and was told I will get tracking number the following day. This did not happen Feb 28th - Was told I will have a tracking number... Still no tracking Mar 9th - I ask for tracking # AGAIN.... Still nothing. Mar 15th - Never got a tracking # but ONLY 500 cards arrive. Mar 23rd - I informed them that I only received half of my business cards (500). They told me they would ship the others out and print 500 additional business cards for free. It is now May 31st and I still don't have the remaining half of my order nor the additional cards. I asked to speak with a manager/owner and that has never happened. I will be filing a credit card dispute. My advice is don't waste your time with this place. Such a headache!! read more

Super disappointed & dissatisfied. Bryan printed the wrong business cards for me and has been saying, for about 2 months now, that he is going to send the correct ones and will send a tracking number. He never sent them or followed up. (there's actually other reviews with the same incident) He completely wasted my time and money which is very frustrating. He continues to dodge my calls and e-mails till this day. I'm sorry but I wouldn't trust this business. read more

Printing fly really came in and helped me and my staff get our project done! We were put on a very tight timeline and needed to get items ready within 24 hours, after the first call the team at printing fly was able to get all of our designs and items needed ready for print. They really came in and took care of the job, we were left holding the bag with so many items that needed to get printed and cut and ready for the show, they did everything we could not be happier! This review is for Alex you did a fantastic job I will definitely be coming back and utilizing you for our next trade show! read more

Reached out to Printing Fly on Friday morning requesting rush business cards, and thankfully they were able to process my order fairly quickly and get it completed. The quality was great, but the service and how understanding they were is why I am leaving this review. I was able to pick up my order from them and the timing was amazing. I appreciate you guys. Thank you for meeting my deadline. read more

I work at a property management firm in Los Angeles and we are always in the need of print services for different apartment buildings. We continuously need color postcards printed every month and event newsletters every other week. I went to Printing Fly because their printing services were never ending and they also offered quality yard signs which we were in need of. They really did an amazing job making our yard signs stand out. Now, they are working on our flyers and newsletter. I am grateful to have found them and our next task with them would be redesigning our business cards along with envelope and letterhead. It has been a true pleasure working with these guys. Printing Fly is a great print shop, with fast turnarounds, and excellent communication and customer service. Print quality is top notch, and Roy and his team are excellent. We were looking for a local print shop for our small business, and we found Printing Fly here through Yelp. Roy answered all our questions in a very professional and friendly manner, and was able to not only have our print order done earlier than expected, but also was able to add in a last minute mass print job that they turned around the same day in addition to our other order. Highly recommend this print shop here in the West L.A. area, and will definitely be using Printing Fly for future print jobs for our business. Thanks Roy & Printing Fly! read more

I was shopping around for a low-cost, local, and speedy printing shop and I knew I had found it when I spoke to Omid of Printing Fly. He was very knowledgeable and swift in getting a price quote to me on the same day I had called asking for a quote on brochure design and printing. Other printing companies I had called took DAYS to reply with quotes or passed me through several chains of management to give me a clear answer. Omid knew what he could offer me and in the end, his quote was cheaper than all of the other local businesses I called, as well as FedEx/Kinko's. They offered to ship the brochures to me since I don't live close by. I have never been more impressed by a printing company's personability and efficiency. In the future, I will use Printing Fly for not only for all of my printing projects at work, but also in my home life. I'm stoked about finding this gem! read more

Needed a printing job as my old fashioned printer at home was gonna struggle to print 600 pages of a pdf document I needed to print. Getting a quote via Yelp was quick and transparent, and they responded very quickly to my subsequent questions/requests. Before work I had tried to print my resume at another printing location on Pico and was floored with how much they had quoted me to print 25 copies of my 1 page resume that I needed the following day for an interview on Melrose. Needless to say, I politely declined and headed on my way to work. During my lunch break that same day I was able to stumble upon this location. Ben and Sam are spectacular to say the least. Sam was even able to help me fix a few date errors in my resume that I did not catch until I was standing in front of them ready to print. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I strongly recommend this new company for all of your printing needs. I was excited to see that they also print business cards -- so I will be back in myself to print those as well as any other small printing jobs that I have in the near future. If I could give them more then 5 Stars I would. read more

I've been working in Real Estate for a while now and needed to get some print material asap. Printing Fly was affordable, workable and had everything I needed all in one place. I wanted new yard signs that would be easier for potential buyers to spot and read. I also needed my leaflets to be updated for my clients. After meeting with them I was able to see the design of the leaflets before it was printed. It was a great experience to work with them one-on-one and to feel secure in the design choice. They made sure to exceed my expectations and get everything done on schedule which was a huge help to me. Printing fly is a great spot to use for printing material in Los Angeles! read more

I've been a Realtor here in Los Angeles for over 15 years and as you can imagine marketing is crucial for my business. I have been shopping around for a solid printing company for various marketing materials ie. flyers, note pads, calendars, business cards etc. PRINTING FLY IS EXCELLENT. Not only do they have competitive pricing, but they deliver the goods in a timely manner, which is important for me and my own service business. They offered me solutions to my marketing dilemmas, assisted with logo concepts and created amazing flyers for me. I highly recommend Printing Fly for your business needs. This has to be one of the best print shops in Los Angeles. We needed a catalog printed for a last minute trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, but had trouble finding a place that would meet with us in person. At Printing Fly, we were able to go into the store and look at samples. We ended up getting two retractable banners (which stopped a lot of traffic at our table!), some really great looking flyers, and bookmarks. They designed everything for us and our entire order was delivered within 2 days, in plenty of time for the event. Thank you Printing Fly for all of the help! read more

I was put in charge of an event for a nonprofit I volunteer for and I'm so happy I was able to find printing fly! I've been going to Printing Fly for 6 months now and they're always super friendly, professional, fast to ship and the location is just great and near the 10 freeway. One stop printing shop for everything I need. There is 24-hr access to the mailboxes, plus they also have some of the best business hours I'd seen in my research -- they were even open on President's Day! You can check whether you have any mail for pickup by calling or emailing ahead and they can also forward your mail for a small fee plus postage. 3 MONTHS FREE PO BOXES...you can't beat that. My computer repair store in Los Angeles needed a huge overhaul of banners for the front window of the shop. The banners have been there for years and I've been searching for a while for the best and most affordable printing shop in Los Angeles. I was seconds away from going to Fedex Kinkos or the UPS store and was very happy I didn't because Printing Fly was much more affordable. I met with the staff of the shop and got down to the details of the design of banner and size with the in house designer. I really enjoyed my time with them and their knowledge of the printing and design business really shows. I proceeded to ask if they were able to print postcard and send them out via a mailer and they did! Finding out they were a one-stop shop was a blessing for me. Now I can just drive over there and get everything I need for my business to succeed in one shot. Sometimes name brands aren't the best option when it comes to printing. Give Printing Fly a chance and you'll know what I mean. read more

I used their PO Box service for a year. Unfortunately, I moved really far from the area now so I had to end the service. There is not a single negative thing I can say about this place. It is always clean and pleasant whenever I come in. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Whenever my box was getting full or I got a package, someone from Printing Fly always called or emailed me to let me know. Whenever I had difficulty getting out of the car to pick up my mail, I would call them and they would meet me by the curb with my mail for me. Even now, as I cancelled my service with them, they still bundle my incoming mail for me for the time being. If you live in this area or are looking for a PO Box in this area, this is definitely the place to go. They also have great prices and specials. I have used 2 other PO Box services in this area until Printing Fly came into this neighborhood, and they were by far the best in service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great printing and customer service! I was visiting LA for work and had a last-minute order that needed a quick turn around. I crossed my fingers and came to Printing Fly hoping they would be able to accommodate. The odds were in my favor! They were able to accommodate my order and the employee, Don, was so helpful! He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the services they offer. I usually settle for large corporate printing companies (FedEx/UPS/etc) so it was nice getting a detailed in-depth and personal service from them. I most definitely will be going back to them for future printing when I'm back in LA! read more

I have sent out four postcard mailings from another company to our surrounding Los Angeles neighborhood residences and businesses. We had no direct response but I doggedly sent out postcards! Last Wednesday Printing Fly sent out my first 2000 postcards. Friday I got a response to the Printing Fly mailing. Today, I got the sample packet of my postcards done by Printing Fly. Now I know why the sudden response. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! The quality paper is great - strong & "starched". Its shiny surface stands out, the color choice is striking. Was looking for a print shop to create presentation folders, envelops, vinyl banners, forms for patient intake and signs for the office for my business. We were in desperate need of print services that would help my optometrist practice really make a statement. It was really important to find a print shop that could create all of these projects for me in a short time period with my brand's identity visible. Printing Fly surpasses this and has helped my business reach new lengths in customers. The vinyl banners I needed were created for the inside and outside of the office. They really made a difference after they were put up. We received more walk-ins then ever before after we put up the vinyl banners. The text on the banner was easy to read but not plain. Everything from Printing Fly was well made with great intentions to keep my business filled with new customers everyday. read more

Great customer service!! Highly recommend! Fast turnaround time for a quick project and low pricing in comparison to other shops.

I walked in trying to get service on getting new business cards and the employee that was sitting at the desk said that he was unable to help me because he was on his lunch break and it ended 10 minutes from the time that I got there. I said could you please just try to help me I don't live anywhere nearby and he said honestly no my boss doesn't pay me enough, he was hourly and I have to I don't really care so you should come back when I'm off my lunch break. Terrible customer service. I needed headshots printed last minute and called a few other printing places in the area and they were all either over priced, rude over the phone, or had a minimum amount I'd have to spend on prints. Oh and none of them could get the shots printed for me within 30 minutes.. That is until I called Printing Fly and spoke with Sam! Updating my review.. The owner contacted me letting me know the issue, and offered credit to try their services again. I didn't used take him up on the credit, but decided to give these guys another shot. The customer service was much better. They turned something around for me same day at a reasonable price. Print quality was pretty good for the price. All and all, I'm chalking off my last experience with a fluke. --------------------------------- I don't typically leave negative reviews, but wanted to warn other yelpers about their customer service via email; Judging by their other yelp reviews, if you go into the physical retail location, the service seems like it might be fine. Anyways, I emailed them one week before I needed a job done, and they gave me an incredibly competitive quote. They stated that their turn around time would be one week, given the holidays. I agreed to the turn around time, emailed my files, and asked if there was anything else I needed to do to finalize the process. No response. I emailed them a day later to followup, and they said that I needed to send individual files for a 2 sided print. I corrected the files, sent them over and I asked if they needed anything else. No response again. I figured that they were busy, and checked back in with them a day before they were due for pick up, only to find out there was another issue with my files. At that time, they told me that they needed an additional 3 days to finish print, and doubled the price because it was a "rush job". I continued to trust the quality of the print job due to the reviews, and said that the new price was fine. However, after calling them 4 times today, only to have them say that they'd call me back in "5 minutes" and never call, I'm giving up. Really bad customer service. If i ever try these guys again, I'll update my review. Hopefully, by then, it'll be more positive. read more

I was in a search for a print shop that could provide everything I needed in one stop. I am local photographer in the Los Angeles area who had recently left a big company to work solo.
