First time checking this establishment out as I don't venture south often. It was pretty busy but it was also mother's day and we had a pretty big group. Our waitress was kind and helpful despite all the chaos. The food was okay overall but needed seasoning(except the home fries, they were great). This has to be the weirdest pancake house I've seen. I think it must have something else originally. There is a full bar, a large wine rack and the dining room is dark like it use to be nighttime establishment. Since they close at 3 pm, I'm not sure a bar is needed. I don't see any evidence it still reopens as a steakhouse inside, there isn't any Yelp listing for a steakhouse that I can find. Ken's review is over five years old but it clears up the mystery about the dining rooms and bar. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak without the mushrooms. It came with fries. Do not be put off by the overcooked appearance of the fries. They are actually very good. The sandwich was very good too and pretty (see photo). They used three or four colors of bell peppers. Service from Nathaly was speedy. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. That includes the time to make the sandwich. Pretty awesome for a table service restaurant in my opinion. The Bloody Mary was delicious it was done properly IMP with the bacon, cheese and pickle toppings!! We tried the biscuit plate and a breakfast burrito. First impression was it looked bland but we were happily surprised with the taste! There are signs on the front door and booths saying 1 hour max dining time due to short staff.. it was a bit slow almost a full hour from when we sat down to when our food came out. This place absolutely gets 5 stars from me because of the pancakes. They were somehow the best restaurant pancakes I've ever had. Soft and buttery, no syrup required, and while I wish they were bigger, that's just the overeater in me talking. They were perfect! I continue to dream about them and am already eager to get back for more. The staff was super quick to seat us, take our orders, and get our food out. Even if it had taken longer, I think we would have been content because the place has plenty to look at. Unlike a typical breakfast location, this place has a darker ambiance with a full bar and wine racks all over the place. There is a very industrial feel to everything which makes sense considering Brozzini's just down the way looks like this too. Loved the unique atmosphere! I'm not a drinker but I saw quite a few flights go out of what I can only suspect are breakfast mimosas. Seems like a very fun idea and a perfect place to go for brunch even if the service isn't called "brunch." Do yourself a favor and grab some pancakes and a hot chocolate as well. This diner is located in a small strip mall with tons and tons of parking. It has a very large dining area with a few television around. They also have a small bar with seating. The menu has everything and the kitchen sink in it. All you breakfast and lunch favs. There is steak, burgers, pancakes, crepes, waffles, chicken and much much more. They also have booze. I was tempted to get a mimosa, but opted for some water instead. The diner also has Bloody Marys, Margaritas, and beer. It was really hard for me to narrow down what I wanted. After a long deliberation, I decided to go with the cinnamon roll french toast with a side of corned beef hash and bacon. It did not take long for them to prepare my meal. I would say it took about 5 minutes and it was sitting in front of me. The food was delicious. The french toast tasted just like a cinnamon roll. My only complaint was that they were small. The bacon was perfect, not too crunchy and not too chewy. It was very good and did not last long at all. I will have to say that my meal was dipping over into the pricier side, as compared to other diners that I have eaten. The staff here, does their job. Came for brunch on a Sunday and it was moderately busy. Servers seemed busy, so I'll give a bit in the service. I ordered the country slam, which had a biscuit and gravy, two eggs, two sausage links, and I ordered a side of toast. The order was correct and looked okay. The eggs were over easy, but I ordered over medium, but tasted fine. The sausage links were not good; rubbery, greasy, and lacked flavor. The biscuit was burnt on the bottom, and the gravy was okay. The toast confused me, haha. It was stale (I get it, it's toast), but I would bite into it and I'd have to bite and tear it to get a piece off. The service was impersonal. No one really looked me in the eye when they spoke to me, which seemed odd. I received my meal and didn't get checked on until I had finished eating. The ambiance was good, not what I was expecting.
