This is my favorite place to eat downtown. Perfect if you're hungry and wanting to sink your teeth into some curry. I love the owners, I feel like they always remember me when I stop by. Haven't been disappointed, and I've been coming here frequently since 2018.

Devine. Vegan-Friendly. Flavorful. Surprisingly Simple. Wow. What a place. I cannot believe it's taken me so long to try Gogi's Cafe. As a vegan, I have dined in Chico at many a places. Even Indian places. Never have my culinary socks been blown off like they were here. The place is set up cafeteria style. Some people seem to look down on that in previously seen Yelp reviews, but I think it made this place non-pretentious. Gogi's isn't trying to be upscale. It's not trying to be fine dining. The premise here is good food, served fast, cafeteria style, located right at the edge of Chico State University. There were plenty of vegan options here to enjoy, something I was glad to see. I dined on a lunch plate with a vegan tofu curry, a vegan chicken dish, rice and a side of Vegan Garlic Naan. The vegan tofu curry, as others have described on Yelp, had the taste of macaroni and cheese to some extent. Don't don't be fooled...I'm not knock it. It was INCREDIBLE. By far the best vegan Indian dish I've ever had. The vegan chicken dish was great, too, although not quite as memorable as the tofu curry. The Vegan Naan bread was insane. It was SO GOOD. I literally could dip this in anything and be satisfied. It was both crispy and soft (right?), flavorful and simple. It was, in a word, unforgettable. In closing, yes, if you're reading this review, you need to eat here. This is my new favorite Vegan Indian restaurant in NorCal!

First visit to Gogi's, Covid has made dining a very different experience, and car dining really stinks! However, Gogi's provided a wonderful meal with fabulous flavor, and friendly personal service! I enjoyed the two dish vegetarian plate with a aloo gobhi, chana masala, with a side plain naan, and a side of samosas that also included a small serving of chana masala and sweet chutney, and of course, a mango lassi. I am a business traveler and have an opportunity to sample all kinds of food from all around the country, Gogi's is definitely top shelf! I will come back here next time I am in Chico.

14.95 all of this food is vegan and is delicious. Well worth the money.

Pricey for the quality and size of the meal you get. Also cafeteria style so I assume the entree has been sitting out for awhile- not fresh

I love this place. Simple, fast, healthy and tasty. It doesn't stick out as a great place but it has become one of my favorite lunch spots.

Ordered both the #1 Dhaba Classic with chicken and #4 Smoky Tandori with beef. We inhaled both so fast!! The chicken had this rich amazing butter sauce that was to-die-for but the tandoori steak was insane!! This was fast / casual but their team members kept asking how we're doing and if there's anything else that we need. You just don't see that level of customer service nowadays! Cheers!!

The food did taste pretty good but the rice to meat/entree ratio seems to swing heavily more on the rice amount. Still, it was good food. We started with the Veggie Pakora which was fried perfectly, not greasy, and highlighted the flavor of the peas, carrots, onions, and cauliflower. Since this was my first time here, I ordered my favorite Indian dishes, and the Star of India versions exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed a cup of Chai Tea that had the perfect sweetness and spice. Our photo was taken after our meal, but I believe our plates are evidence of how delicious the food was. OK, I checked it out a few weeks ago, but just sort of got around to doing a review now. Normally, I only do Indian food at restaurants that offer lunch buffets, I dunno, I guess that's how I started eating Indian food and I have my fave dishes. Oak Creek Ranch offers no buffet, but since I live here in Red Bluff, I gotta give it a try. Oak Creek Ranch is located out of the main part of town in the south. You can find Montgomery Road off of South Main Street. Turn right just before the freeway and it's like a frontage road to the freeway. Keep going, and it's on the right. If you get to the end of the road, you passed it, go back. I ordered to go since I was by myself and didn't wanna eat alone in a restaurant I never been to before. I ordered my fave Tandoori chicken that came with two drumstick and two thigh pieces. Also, tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and got some basmati rice to go with that. I spent way more than I would at a buffet, but the nearest Indian buffet is all the way in Sacramento over 2 hours away! The wait for the food wasn't too long and it smelled good in the car. I forgot to get some naan, but oh well, next time! I get home just maybe 10 minutes away and open up the food. I put the rice and Tikka Masala out on a plate. OK, I gotta say, the Tandoori chicken was really good, very tandoori tasting and tender, no struggling to pull the meat off with my teeth. The tikka masala was good, not too spicy and went well with the rice. I had leftovers for later. No leftovers allowed at buffets, so there's that. I'm glad I found a place for Indian food right here in Red Bluff, a town not known for restaurant diversity away from chain restaurants. I wonder if many people actually play golf here in the summer?
