I cannot even begin to emphasize how good the food is here! The absolute best indian food i've ever had! I went during the weekend buffet and the variety and authentic indian flavors are unmatched. such good food for such a good price!! the workers here are also very friendly and make sure you're well taken care of. the atmosphere here is also great!! I will definitely be back! 12/10 would definitely recommend!!

We drove from Massachusetts to try out this place. We have heard about their buffet but it's only offered on Sundays. We got a dosa to share and a non-veg thaali each. The dishes in the thaali are chefs selection, but it's a great option if you want to try a bunch of different things. The food was decently spiced, something you don't get too often in the Boston area. The chai was also very well done, withe less masala. Overall, great option for good South Indian food. You'll also get a lot of leftovers- definitely bang for the buck! Will definitely be back!

Excellent spot for lunch. Fridays and weekends they have a buffet. We went on a Wednesday and got the plate with a little of everything which ended up tasting great!

This is my first plate. There are 10 different items on this plate alone!

I'm in love. This place is fabulous. It was wide open, for plenty of room to move around. Clean, warm atmosphere. Huge selection of items to try and only $20 per person. Plus, warm welcome from a woman to explain the layout. For so cheap, I was worried the food would be limited or be low quality. Nope in every way possible. I got to try a little bit of everything. Thinking about 20+ items and still didn't try it all (by far). So many things that were amazing and I don't even know what they were! The flavors of the spices in the food was like a party in my mouth. Plus, everything was fresh and well stocked. They provide you bottled water but, you can order a drink if you like. I got my favorite, a mango lasse. Which I highly recommend. It was a little thicker than usual but, again, flavor. Wow. Also, they have little brown balls soaked in some kind of syrup as a dessert item. They don't look great but, please, try them. You won't regret it. The only tips I give to people looking for a wonderful buffet is, 1) their buffet is only on the weekends, 11am-3pm. 2) Go around 12:15, it started to fill up as we were leaving at 1:30. 3) If you're not great with spicy, be careful. It's closer to authentic Indian which has quite a kick. I love spicy but, my husband doesn't. Although, there were a few items that he enjoyed very much. The paneer tikka marsala is delicious and much more mild than other dishes. Over all, 6/5 stars. Highly recommend to anyone searching to adventure outta their comfort zone and try new Indian dishes. Or heck, just love Indian food! We're so going back.

Proof they have no license to serve food as of Saturday July 29!

Zero stars. No license to serve food. Trying to add a photo of the RI Dept of Health website that they're license has expired. Verified Saturday July 29, 2023. The DOH knows they are serving food with an expired license because I told them. All these good reviews-I got sick.

This was my first Indian restaurant in the US. Went on the first week of my arrival. .n to my surprise it did meet my expectations then.. good quality, good taste n satisfying ambience. Mango lassi was enjoyable, but I hope the cinnamon becomes an optional ingredient. Recommend Indians to visit this : yes definitely Service : 4/5

Godavari buffet is always good but the buffet at Rhode Island was exceptional. There were plenty of vegetarian and meat options and all of them tasted great. If I have one feedback its just that the chicken biriyani tasted/smelt like it was not too fresh. I took off one star for that. My favorite was the chaat corner!

I arrived here around 9:30 PM and the place was not very busy. I was seated immediately in a worn out booth (taped seats) and helped myself to the food. The selection of food was very good including plenty of seafood options, typical Chinese dishes, American food, pizza, sushi, fruits, salads, and desserts including hard scoop Warwick Ice Cream. I enjoyed crab legs (not many left), steamed clams, stuffed shrimp, stuffed clams, mussels, salmon, dumplings, lo mein, egg foo young, spring rolls, crab rangoon, California rolls, seaweed, fried rice, chow fun noodles, macaroni & cheese, stuffed mushrooms, corn on the cob, cheese pizza, mixed vegetables/broccoli, onion rings, chicken wings, chicken teriyaki sticks, and coffee ice cream with strawberry sauce bananas. I was stuffed afterwards and the total check with tax and before tip was $12.95, a very good price for lots of tasty greasy food. There was a larger party that came for the last part of our meal who were on the louder side and let their children run around the restaurant. While not Kinnera's fault it did lead to a lease than pleasant meal. For dinner we had the mango lassi, onion pakora, chicken korma, and paneer masala. I always appreciate when restaurants bring out papadums and chutneys as well which Kinnera did. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the pakora. I didn't get a lot of onion flavor in them and found the dish to be very dry. A sauce would have been a welcome addition. My chicken in the korma was cooked very well as it was nice and tender. For $16 the portions were huge and the meal comes with plenty of rice. I wasn't as impressed with my korma sauce though as I'm used to a creamier base. My significant other said there wasn't a lot of paneer in his masala either. Our service was standard but pleasant. The waiters didn't come over as we were eating and took a while to ask if we wanted the bill. However, they were prompt once we said we were ready for the check. I love Indian food and have had it around the world but I am glad this place is up and running. One day I'd like to try the lunch buffet.

When I got to the restaurant, they came to the front and asked how I was paying. I said with the gift card. The person cashing me out used some sort of card reader on their iPad kiosk he brought over. To cover the rest of the total I paid with a $50 bill I had, anticipating the total would be more than $25.00. I should have questioned why the total was so insane on the spot! Somehow, every time I've come here, the experience has been excellent. I honestly cannot remember a single bad meal. This isn't a place I visit every week or even every month. It's more of a special occasion destination every few months. Part of the reason is that every visit turns into an event. We always go for the full experience, and by the time we leave, we're completely stuffed, happy, and already talking about when we'll come back. The quality of the food is outstanding. Everything arrives hot, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Whether it's one of the signature cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, pork, or something from the Market Table, I've yet to find an item that disappointed me. Usually, by the end of the meal, I've lost track of how many different things I've tried because I'm too busy enjoying all of it. One thing that always makes me laugh is the famous red and green card system. In theory, you flip the card to green when you want more food and red when you need a break. In reality, after a few visits, the staff seems to remember what you like. I've had servers and gauchos walk by with cuts they know I enjoy and offer them before I even have a chance to flip the card. That's not a complaint. It's actually one of the reasons the experience feels so personal. The service deserves just as much praise as the food. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed warmly. Throughout the meal, someone is always checking to make sure you're enjoying yourself, asking if you need anything, and making sure the experience lives up to expectations. It never feels forced or scripted. The staff genuinely seems to care that you're having a great time. We usually arrive around 5:00 or 5:30, before the dinner rush really gets going. That timing has always worked well for us and allows for a relaxed, enjoyable meal without feeling crowded or rushed. Fogo de Chão isn't inexpensive, but that's because you're getting an experience, not just a meal. Between the quality of the food, the attention from the staff, and the overall atmosphere, I've always felt like I got my money's worth. At this point, if someone asks me where to go in Providence for a memorable dinner, Fogo de Chão is always near the top of my list. Fantastic food, exceptional service, and a level of consistency that is surprisingly rare these days. Five stars without hesitation.
