Renter beware of online specials and this company!!!! The online special was 3 months free and then $109 per month. We were just notified that when our 3 months is almost up the monthly rate is now $323 a month not $109. We argued with an agent who finally agreed to only charge us double ($216) the advertised special that we agreed to. I feel like this is a bait and switch scam. Get people to move in all of their stuff and then raise the rates. You must provide notice 10 days in advance of moving and provide photos of the empty unit. I don't trust that the current double rate won't be changed the following month. Disappointed at move in to find lights missing in our unit. I asked to have them replaced. After 2-3 weeks I replaced them myself. Multiple lights were out throughout the hallway where our unit was, so I complained about that as well. They did fix those. As people move in/out they leave trash in the hallways, so I had to complin about that as well. They did clean up the trash. There is a person assigned to the facility for these issues, so I'm not clear why these items are not handled without me complaining. I should have followed my own advice to my kids. Anything too good to be true, is too good to be true. I'm very frustrated that my only recourse is writing this review. I would never recommend that anyone use this company. Also, the only person they will speak to is the person who opened the rental agreement, which is my wife. She's too nice, so negotiating the reduced rent amount was a bit of a challenge. Update on 01/10/26 to my original review on 01/08/26. Steve the owner responded to my post, which I had hoped would have me writing a positive update. Unfortunately, we could not contact him directly. We left multiple voicemail messages with the Go Store It AI answering bot. A human called back and asked me to text a copy of the Yelp review with Steve's response to the phone number the representative was calling from, which I did. My wife also went to the company web page and sent a copy of the same information via email. We just received a call from Omar at Go Store It. He explained that there was nothing they could do for us. He then said the price increase was across the board for everyone, because the value of the property the facility sits on went up. Omar said that the 10x30 unit we rent is now +$400/mth, and the $216/mth rate we were given was a really good rate. Our image is that the $216/mth will only be good in February and then essentially double again in March. Based on the discussion with Omar, it sounds like our storage fees will continue to skyrocket. This company is unconscionable, and you would have to be crazy to do business with them after reading this review. Update 01/21/23 We moved out of the storage facility this past Saturday. As we were leaving, we ran into a couple that had been long term renters. They said this storage facility has a history of constantly raising rates. They said that they played the company's game and opened different accounts to move from unit to unit, so they kept a reasonable rate. We decided to move about a mile away into a comparable size unit at Extra Storage Space. That company was honest, explaining the first month was free and the discounted rate was guaranteed for 4mths, before going to the normal rate. Their normal rate will still be lower than what Go Store It was planning to charge us. When we provided our move out notice, the virtual agent never asked why we were leaving. Overall, I believe we received poor service, and it appeared that the company didn't care about customers. I think this explains the multiple empty storage units that we used as staging areas for small stuff, while we packed out the moving truck. read more

So dissatisfied with the level of customer service. I have been a long time tenant and noticed the prices dropped after over paying them for about a year or two I called to ask if they would work with me to reduce the cost of my units .I was not asking for anything free but felt I should be able to get my units reduced to the lower price. I did not even ask for all 3 of them to be lowered just asked for help on 1 or even 2 . Was flat out told I would need to remove my unit to another unit to get a lower price HOW does that even make SENSE if I could get all my stuff out there today I would..DO NOT RENT here unless you like being ripped off .Customer service is awlful read more

Dont use this storage unit. Once you move in be prepared to get a 45% rate increase per month at the first opertunity. Just received my second anniversary 45% increase and moving out. Absolutely will not work with you and no concern. Was told normally 5 to 10 % periodic increase should be expected when i initially moved in, Not true. No contract and month to month, so nothing stopping an increase. read more

I have two units at this location. One is climate controlled and one is not. Have never had an issue with the property or the on-site managers. I frequently come and go thru the access gates at all hours and no problems. Thank you Chris read more

My husband and I have a storage unit at this location. I called this location to give them a heads up that I was coming down to make a payment. I spoke to Jacqueline who told me that they would not accept a payment from me as his wife. My husband has me on the account. I've never heard of such a thing to make a payment (I had the invoice with dollar amount) even if he didn't have me on the account. She still insisted and refused to allow me to come to the location and make a payment. I'm disappointed that I had to endure such a negative experience. I do not recommend opening a storage unit here. I am requesting to be contacted by management. read more

I needed a climate controlled unit in order to store things while we get our house ready to sell. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The unit is bigger than expected and well worth the price! I highly recommend Go Store it! read more

This company is a rip off with unit pricing and also scam artists with their insurance. I have been renting less than two years and the price has gone from around $80 to $199/month. In March they raised the price from $128/mo to $199. My unit is also on a slope, meaning the driveway drops down across the entrance, so you can't place a trailer there and it makes a dolly almost useless for loading and unloading. I also sent them a new insurance binder in February, which they said they didn't receive, and started charging me insurance that cost 2x as much as my policy. I am moving out immediately and will never rent from these crooks again. read more

I've utilized this facility for over 4 years now, renting a varying number of units at one time, and dealing with three separate daily management crews. I have had zero issues, and have found management to be both pleasant to work with, and accommodating. I appreciate the access hours; they're extended without being 24/7 which, based on my own prior experience in years past, can create security issues. I can comfortably refer them to friends for storage needs. read more

There should be an option to give these thrives a minus 1000 stars. They lure you in with false advertising $1 move in and 1st month free and offer you a special. The on site manager Corey Devore Came out not once but Everytime I came to my unit. He stalked me like I was his prey unbeknownst to me he was pretending to be busy all the while looking at the content of my unit. Once it was stuffed to the top. My third payment was raised although I had been specific when I got the unit that I need a rate under $100.00 Corey was like sure! We got that. I then asked for a copy of my contact. There I saw where Corey had signed my name and initials falsifying the contract. I was floored! Then they tried to strong arm me by locking me out of my unit preventing me from moving out although my unit was paid accordingly. This was done to force me to pay the new rate. They posted false reviews on their website. I filed a law suit that's pending. However according to Corey Devore and his general manager they are proceeding with taking the content of my unit. This appear to have been their goal and explain the reason for manipulating the numbers until you are forced into default. They are violating the fair business act. They are stealthily committing crimes then run to police to protect them. Their entire business is motivated by a criminal hidden agenda. read more

Nice folks but they need to pay more attention to detail and lower climate temp/humidity to protect client's belongings. My wife and I rented what was supposed to be climate controlled unit for approximately 3 months while moving between May-July 2018. At some point during the approximate 10 weeks that our belongings were in storage, there was a failure of the climate control that went unnoticed for a protracted period of time resulting in significant mold growth on our belongings. As a result, we had to throw away thousands of dollars worth of our belongings including all upholstered furniture which was ruined as a result and had to clean/disinfect many others before being able to use. Upon inspection, I realized that thermostats are normally intentionally obscured behind paper so that you can't see that the "climate control" is set to 80 which is insufficient in and of itself in the Georgia summer heat/humidity to mitigate issues. Granted, management filed an incident report but now it is up to us to pursue claims with the company that go-store it uses for client claims. Overall, I am very disappointed in our experience here and would encourage anyone considering this location to insist on confirmation up front of what temperature/humidity settings will be maintained at all times and insist on documented proof of their monitoring procedures as it was clear in this case, that monitoring procedures were either ignored or at minimum are insufficient. read more
