My home with solar from GoGreen!
    Kris T.

We recently purchased an electric car and our electric bills went up, especially during summer when we ran the AC. So I decided to shop for a solar panel system and got 3 different quotes from local solar companies in Orange County. Go Green Solar's price was the best for the scope of work I wanted done. They upgraded my main service panel, installed a level 2 electric car charger, and installed a solar system. The communication with this company was great. Everytime I called someone answered and addressed my questions. The installation crew was very friendly and left a clean site everyday after they were done working. This is a big plus - the last contractor I used to do work on my home always left it looking like a war zone. Thanks to them I am able to power my car and home with solar energy. My bill is now only about $10 a month!

I had a wonderful experience with Go Green Solar installing solar for my home in Westminster. I found their company while getting several quotes for solar panels from local Orange County solar installers. When I first called in, I spoke to Linh. He asked me a few questions about how much energy my home used, and my goals and concerns about going solar. Within 24 hours, Linh sent me a proposal and explained the pros and cons of the recommended solar panels. He wasn't pushy at all during the decision making process. He just presented the facts, answered my questions, and let me make my own decision. I valued his experience since he has solar on his own home and has been in the solar industry for 9 years. The price was fair; it wasn't the cheapest but also wasn't the highest compared to other solar companies. I chose Go Green Solar because I felt they knew what they were talking about and I could trust them. After signing the contract I was introduced to my project manager Jazzmin. She's awesome! She made sure everything moved forward smoothly and secured the permit from my city within one week. Once I received the permit, the solar installation was scheduled. The installation crew arrived on time, was very professional, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. They completed the installation in 2 days and we passed inspection without any problems. Raul, the lead installer, setup my online monitoring and showed me how to operate the system. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic, and I'm glad I chose them for my solar installation. I'm happy to have a lower electric bill and will be recommending Go Green Solar to my friends and family!

I had a great experience with Go Green Solar! I did some research, but I was not sure what I wanted or needed. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and professional, reviewed my electricity usage and roof layout, explained my options to help me decide, and gave me a very competitive price. I never felt pressured and the service and communication I received from all the people at Go Green Solar throughout the whole process was top notch. Go Green also referred me to an installation contractor who also did a great job, coordinating things directly with Go Green. It was all a very smooth and painless process and I now have some great looking solar panels on my roof. Pic of a couple of my installed panels is attached. There are more panels but it's not easy for me to get up on my roof to take pics. My solar work very well and saves me a lot of money on my electric bill!

Absolutely First-Rate from Start to Finish When the fires…read morehit Southern California and we lost power for two weeks, something changed for me. I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

I was provided with a non English speaking crew, which made it hard to communicate important details. Because of this, I was never informed that my previously installed EV charger would create a solar permit issue. That oversight ended up costing me an additional $2,000. For a company charging at the higher end, I expected clear communication and a thorough review of existing electrical work. Instead, I was left paying for issues that should have been identified upfront. My advice to future customers: - Make sure they thoroughly review all prior electrical work done in your home. - Ask specifically about permit implications before signing. - Get clear confirmation on who will be onsite and whether they can communicate effectively with you. - Do not assume they will proactively flag electrical conflicts, you may be asked to pay for corrections later. The company is on the expensive side, and I accepted that cost in exchange for what I believed would be a smooth, well-communicated experience. Unfortunately, the communication breakdown and unexpected added costs did not justify the premium pricing. Proceed carefully and ask very detailed questions before committing.

My experience with Sunrun has been a nightmare from start to finish -- and it's still not over, nearly nine months later. After signing up and having the panels physically installed, I expected the project to move forward. Instead, I've been stuck in an endless cycle of delays, excuses, and mismanagement. Multiple city inspections were failed due to basic, avoidable errors, and despite repeated outreach, I was met with little to no communication from the project manager, Amanda Gonzalez, or the broader Sunrun team. The final blow came when Edison finally arrived to install the meter -- only to walk away because Sunrun used the wrong conduit. They used liquid conduit instead of the required rigid conduit, which any experienced installer should know is a basic code requirement. Because of this egregious mistake, The timeline to fix it and reschedule inspections could take another 3 to 6 months. That will make this project stretch into well over a year and a half -- and I've already started making loan payments for a system that still isn't active. This isn't just a frustrating customer experience -- it's gross negligence. The lack of quality control, project oversight, and accountability is unacceptable for any company, especially one claiming to be a leader in solar. Do yourself a favor: avoid Sunrun at all costs.
