Best Breakfast Burrito? Hands DOWN! BEAUTIFUL GIFTS for…read moreEveryone? Absolutely! Variety of treasures to choose from? Galore! Service with a SMILE? Always! I went in today for my 1st time after reading about their mission and I was not expecting the level of serene and friendly service I received. I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! Whether you stop in for a quick coffee or find a gift for someone special, or let's be honest, even for yourself (#selfcare) , this is the place to spend your $! Every penny goes back into the special needs crew and their vocational training and the services provided to the community. Oops! I should have lead with that! It's a non-profit! Helping adults with special needs share their super powers with the world! So you're getting pampered, filling your belly, AND scoring treasures for loved ones while giving back to a great cause. What are you waiting for? Go.

I went there, yesterday, the Food was delicious! The Cashier Girl, I believe her name is Alexis (we…read morejoked about being called Alexa), recommended me the sandwiches (maybe it was The Club? I forgot...) The Ambiance was quiet when I got there, but when I left, it was busy! I walked around the restaurant surroundings, b/c I had some time to kill until my Pick Up was scheduled.

First of all, let me start by saying this is not review of the food which was great, this is more a…read morereview of the staff. One in particular... This was our first time visiting the Georgetown location, we were over that way and hungry and decided based on previous experiences with this chain that we would pop in and have lunch. We ordered via the mobile app at the table, as my wife is disabled and has trouble standing for extended periods of time. Now, there were less than a half dozen people in the entire restaurant including one extremely loud member of staff, an older lady who obviously had family in the restaurant at the time as she kept coming over to the table opposite us and sitting and talking with them very loudly with zero filter, and absolutely no consideration for the other patrons. After waiting about 20 minutes (again, the place was almost empty), our food was brought over by her, she then proceeded to yell at a coworker that as they run out of small cups just to "throw their drinks in a large one" referring to us, and don't bother charging us the extra for it, which is kind of strange considering you get free refills no matter What size drink you buy. She then sat down and proceeded to have a very loud conversation with her family members who'd obviously popped in for lunch and to see grandma, then she shouted across the restaurant "yo bitch, bring me a big to go box" at her younger coworker who was walking over with our drinks. This is extremely off-putting and very unprofessional in what is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant, her grandchildren were maybe 10 and 12, is that the way she acts in front of them at home? WE WILL NOT EVER be coming back to this particular branch, and I will be emailing McAllister's corporation a copy of this review. The food was great, the place was obviously an older branch and is in need of a little bit of modernization, it was clean and tidy and other than the yelling grandma was OK. I have noticed other people's reviews mention the exceedingly long waits for food and the varying standards of food preparation; however, I cannot speak to that. All I know is it took an exceptionally long time to get a meal considering there was hardly anybody there. WE WILL NOT BE BACK

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the treatment I received at your Round Rock…read morelocation on June 30 at approximately 12:55 p.m. I am requesting that this incident be taken seriously and reviewed, including any available security camera footage from that time. From the moment I walked into the store, I felt unwelcome. Instead of being greeted or treated with basic respect, I was met with an extremely rude and hostile attitude. When I was asked for my compartment number, I was trying to understand what was being requested. Rather than calmly assisting me, the employee--who identified himself as the District Manager--raised his voice and yelled, "LOOK UP ROUND ROCK LOCATION!" in an aggressive and embarrassing manner. His behavior only escalated from there. He continued speaking to me disrespectfully, shouted at me in front of others, and used profanity while addressing me. No customer should ever be cursed at or made to feel as though they do not belong simply because they are asking questions or need assistance. The interaction left me so upset that I cried as soon as I got back to my car. I have never been treated so poorly by someone representing a company, especially someone holding a leadership position. A District Manager should set the standard for professionalism, patience, and customer service--not create a hostile environment where customers leave feeling humiliated and intimidated. I find it extremely concerning that someone in a management position would believe it is acceptable to yell at, curse at, and disrespect a customer. This experience has caused me emotional distress, and I am deeply disappointed by the way I was treated. I am requesting that corporate conduct a full investigation into this incident by reviewing the security camera footage from June 30 at approximately 12:55 p.m. I believe the footage will clearly show the manner in which I was spoken to and treated. Depending on the outcome of your investigation, I will consider pursuing further action regarding the unprofessional conduct and emotional distress caused by this interaction. No customer should have to endure verbal abuse from a District Manager while simply trying to receive service. I expect to hear back regarding the steps being taken to address this matter. I hope your company values its customers enough to ensure that no one else experiences the same treatment I did.

The food is decent quality for what it is, for what' it's worth, but not on par with the price charged. The fries are good. I didn't hate my burger. I did get heartburn by the time I left, though, of course. I miss their old menu from when they opened, back when they had table service. That menu had a steak. Of course, their old flat iron steak was also reaching up into Perry's prices, so I can see how that made its way off the menu. The yard at Camp Briteside is pretty cool for a kid. That's why I'm giving them four stars--It has a alright ambiance for a family. I go here for my four-year-old to run around and make friends. If it weren't for him, I'd never return, though. But, it's nearby, and my kid likes it. So, it's a four star social yard for my kid with subpar while overpriced concession food.

I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, and it was honestly one of the worst salads I've had at a restaurant. The Caesar dressing tasted like a cheap imitation rather than actual Caesar dressing, the chicken was lukewarm, and the lettuce was limp and tasted spoiled. I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The fries were decent, but it's hard to go wrong with frozen fries in a fryer. The burger was okay, but after seeing the condition of the salad, I wasn't exactly eager to eat it. My kids' mac and cheese came with a pre-packaged fruit cup instead of fresh fruit, which was another letdown. The margarita was also disappointing--very weak, too sour and upset my stomach I didn't finish it. The outdoor space is nice enough for kids to run around, but don't expect a traditional playground with swings or climbing equipment. It's mostly an open grassy area where kids can kick a soccer ball or throw a softball. What really stood out was the lack of ambiance. There was no music playing outside, so the atmosphere felt oddly flat and quiet. A little background music would have gone a long way in creating a welcoming vibe. We didn't stay long because of it. The one bright spot was the service. The young woman at the front was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the bartenders got our drinks out quickly. But nothing overly impressive to be honest. Overall, I would *not* return. Food: 1/5. Atmosphere: 2/5. The decent enough service was the only part of the experience that saved this from being a one-star visit.
