I was greeted kindly by the owner and she gave me a tour of the beautiful spa. It is very beautiful inside. I had a consult appointment in the Med-Spa with Lauren. She was so friendly and open with good information on the services they provide. I have some experience with receiving Botox myself in years past. I was extremely pleased with her expertise. the team members are very nice and welcoming people!! the service was great and a very relaxing experience!! i got classic eyelash extensions and overall the process went great the only thing is that when i got home i realized one eyes lashes were fuller than the other side and i immediately noticed a couple lashes falling out after less than 3 hours, i went back to get them filled and it was free since it was a day later which was great but they didn't look too much different my extensions didn't even last a week and they made my natural eyelashes soooo much shorter than they were pre eyelash extension. don't recommend if you dont want to waste money and ruin your natural lashes read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I don't know where to start except I was taken in by the promises of first class service. This place was built by an ex- engineer, and she treats it like a math problem. Customers are slotted in for her to manage her business in the easiest way possible. How does that translate to you? I had experiences where I was given the same tech all day even though she had no real experience as a nail tech. she painted my nails like a fifth grader. Why was she doing nails? because, as she explained, the owner likes to schedule the same person with a customer throughout the day-it's easier. Also I have asked for specific tech's and when I showed up was given someone who had two months experience providing the service. Really?! After I went to the trouble to find out who was more senior, asked for that person, and then was given the switch on the day I showed up? Don't even ask me about how difficult it was to cancel my membership. Ended up with a "heartwarming " call from the owner after my tech called her and told her how upset I was and wanted to cancel. This place is pretty on the outside, don't get fooled, they just want to take your money and don't care about the level of service they provide. read more

I have come a few times for blowouts. Great and can usually fit me in the same day. I haven't tried any other services other than blow outs and hair mask treatment. The tub soaks/wraps/facials while they sound dreamy are too over priced. I have read several reviews and have to agree with the staffs professionalism, a lot of the girls are very young. Often times talking to eachother or about their lives rather then being one on one with their client. Last blow out my girl didn't speak to me most of the time, which was better than having to listen to two employees girl talk but made me feel like she didn't want to be there. It has a nice modern, all white feel. Before washing my hair, we talked about my desired look. She created the exact look I was hoping and my hair has never looked better. And I hold her responsible for entirely responsible for ruining my experience - I will never return. Just prior to my appt. I received a '$10 'coupon from them' which states, 'Save $10 on your first appointment...Just show us this note at the front desk...$10 coupon can be applied to services of ANY type - you just cannot combine any service.' Noteworthy: My appointment consisted of only 1 Service: strictly BoTox. I walk to the front to pay, show the so-called Coupon and the so-called Owner says 'oh, we can't accept that coupon - you can't combine any services'. I say to her, um - I got 1 service, BoTox, so I didn't combine anything. She proceeds to say, 'Oh, sorry for the miscommunication - maybe I should reword the Coupon or something...' Um, do you think we are idiots? It's a scam and a ripoff, plain and simple, honey. And while it is only $10, that is SO not the point. She lied, plain and simple, and she did it to me today. Don't think I'll be returning. The girl who did my facial smelled like cigarette smoke. They told the person I went with that their steam machine was broken, so she didn't get any steam. That's the whole reason you get a professional facial! There was also some skin-shaming going on since the girl doing the facial was rolling her eyes afterwards saying things like, "Wow, what a job that was!" among other things that didn't seem very nice or professional. 2/10 do not recommend their lash extensions nor their membership!!! Not only is it super overpriced, but the quality isn't great either. I used to come here ritually every 2 weeks to get my lashes done, not only did the owner judge my long acrylics, but the lashes never met up to my expectations nor did they last the two weeks! The lash techs are nice, but I wouldn't say they're trained enough for the price of the lashes, none of them would clean my lashes before application and they would rush the process. One time my lashes got blepharitis (although I washed my lashes every single day with the lash bath they have there) while being unaware of it my lash tech still did a fill without noticing or letting me know. This shows how uneducated this facility is with lash extensions, I think they all should take some more training classes and use better lash glue and products and they'll be good to go. My lash tech now is qualified and her lashes look 10x better and last way longer, she always cleans our lashes and lets us know how important it is to make sure they're clean. When I had my sister transfer from Glosshouz to my girl now, she noticed that the lashes Glosshouz put on her were SHORTER THAN HER NATURAL LASHES, like wtf ?? And they have this weird rule when you can't use your membership discount on certain days ?? Like they never told us that, very odd... but anyways it may look pretty and fancy but overall I wouldn't come again. Sorry. read more

Normally I love this place . Today I scheduled a blow out with one of the two girls listed as available for the evening time slot I was looking for. Not only did the front desk girl try to change me out with a different girl that I hadn't booked .. but when I came back to the counter she informed me that neither girl could take me this evening and I would have to reschedule for tomorrow or another day. I never comment on these boards .. but seriously what they heck kind of customer service is that. I drove half hour to get there and had an important meeting tomorrow morning I wanted to look great for. First don't have two time slots open to book and neither girl is available and then not even say how sorry you are that the online system let me book the appointment.. and secondly you didn't even offer to have some sort of perk or service on the house for the mess up and inconvenience caused .. Visiting our son in Denver, my husband and I wanted an afternoon to relax and be pampered. Our son suggested Glosshouz. We were warmly greeted by the owner who gave us a tour of the full-service spa. The spa is beautifully decorated and designed. In the front where hands, feet and hair are expertly worked on it is all windows creating a bright, happy atmosphere. Walking to the rear of the spa through a door the atmosphere completely changed to soft lights and soothing music. After changing into one of their luxurious spa robes I was handed a mimosa and escorted to one of the many massage rooms by my massage therapist Stevie. She got to work immediately on my aching back. She is very skilled with gentle but firm hands. Next I had a manicure by Courtney. She opted to work on my hands and nails after I told her I had tried to give myself a manicure. She was confident she could make my hands and nails look normal again. And she did! My husband decided to have a pedicure and a manicure. Bailey was assigned to help both of these troubled areas. He met me out front at the nail bar and couldn't stop talking about how great his feet felt. He proceeded to tell me everything that Bailey did and everything she used to accomplish her magic. Bailey worked on his hands next and performed the same magic. He was more than pleased with the results. We will be visiting our son often now that he's living in Denver. Every time we come back for a visit we will be sure that Glosshouz is on our calendar for things to do. read more

Beautiful and modern facility with an upscale feel. Employees are very friendly and we've been given complimentary drinks during our services. My entrance first time in though was awkward. I was not greeted by anyone immediately and had to sort of figure out who to talk to to check in. I had my hands full with coats and bags and would have liked it if someone would have offered a place for me to store them while I toured the facility, and had services performed. My shellac manicure only lasted just less than a week. Anywhere else I've had it done and it's easily lasted a month. The top coat had all chipped off and I literally peeled the underneath coat off, when typically you have to go in to have it removed. Pedicure services here have been great though. The person who performed one of my services talked about how she was looking for work elsewhere though because of the owner. She said read the YELP reviews and you'll understand. So I have mixed feelings about this place as much as I want to love it. read more

I have been to Glosshouz over the last year for: blowouts, pedi, and facials. When I first tried Glosshouz in January 2017, I had a great experience. Sunny did my blowout for my holiday party and it turned out amazing. had a braid to the side with my hair curled. I didn't feel rushed and she took her time perfecting my hair. The place was so girly, I really felt like I was being pampered. I went back during the summer (June 2017) to get a blowout and pedicure for a wedding. At the time I booked the appointment online, i don't believe there was an option to add on Shellac. I had the pedi first and asked to upgrade to shellac which would be an additional $10, no problem paying that. I forget the lady that did my pedi but she was really nice and did a great job. But apparently by me upgrading to shellac, made me be late for my blowout appointment which was following the pedi...and everyone made sure I knew that. Destiny is the one that did my blowout...and the entire time, she complained about how if one person runs over on their appointment then that messes up everyone schedule for the rest of the day. Well first of all, how unprofessional. Second of all, maybe the way appointments are scheduled for more than 1 services should be reconsidered. While Destiny was doing my hair, she was rushing the entire time. I had her style my hair half up with a braid and curled. Honestly....I could have done my hair better myself, blind folded. I had to go home and re-curl it because you could barely tell my hair was curled. I left, pretty unsatisfied and disappointed...at this point in time, I realized this was just a pretty place, but maybe it would get better... Around Aug/Sept 2017, I was having the worst migraine. I really wanted to get a massage but the place I normally go to was booked. The only available appointment to help me relax was a facial at Glosshouz. I booked a 60 min facial. This was the first time I have EVER had a facial. The person I booked with ended up being someone different that gave me the facial. I ended up getting Destiny again. The facial was relaxing except whoever was in the room next to us was extremely loud...I could literally hear their entire conversation. The deal for your first facial was like $40 back if you book the next one within 90 days. Well, I figured since my birthday was coming up I would go back...which ended up being fine. My sisters and I were going to have a sister weekend so we decided to all get 70 min facials at the same time on 1/12/18. Both of my sisters have received many facials in their lives. My sister Allison has very sensitive skin and by looking at her face, she need extractions. When she went in, the lady that did her, said she was not an "RD" and had no idea what she was talking about. She said she was just a "cosmo"...well my sister is also a cosmo so basically it would be like her giving me a facial. All they do is run some product on your face and wash it off....no one is looking at your face to extract because they are not qualified to!? Also, 70 mins is really maybe 60 mins? I am not sure who is keeping track of time because both of my sisters got out right after me, in which I went in first...Also the 70 mins states it includes a massage and extractions which I got neither. No one even checked if I needed extractions because again...they are not qualified to. We all 3 left very disappointed. And now I know I have never had a REAL facial. What a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I really feel like I threw my money down the toilet. For a place this fancy, they should have 5 star service. I would recommend to get certified people for the services you are providing. A cosmo should not be giving mani/pedis or facial...I am scared for whoever gets actual botox at this place. At this point, I am going to try Ella Bliss who has had top notch review for any new services I need. read more

I was so excited that this place finally does dipped nails. So I made an appointment. Omg was I so disappointed in the dipped nails. On the website it says dipped manicure. When Carmen did my dipped nails last week she did not give me a manicure at all.after she took my other dipped nails off she just said is the shape good. So she didn't really do anything with my cuticles or shape of my nails. Once she did the dipped powder she was missing my sides. I told her that all my nails were missing on the edges. She added more to the nails but instead of looking to see which ones. So I kept telling her the ones that needed more powder. Even though she did add more still look very crappy. I was so unhappy. And after filing rough on a finger I started bleeding I twitched because I was in pain. She only said did that hurt. When I was bleeding she did not say sorry or put anything on my finger just kept working. Once she applied the top coat it even looked terrible it was not set and had bubbles. After it dried she just said it's done. She did not give me any lotion or massaged. I paid and even tipped her because I was nice. Once I got into the car i had try to fix my nails myself by shaping it and taking off the horrible top coat. I would not recommend this place. This place is high ended service is terrible. I felt like she was not happy to do my nails. Like if you don't like doing what your doing than find something better to do. Oh and I called today to see if they can take my ugly dipped nails they wanted to charge me another 10 dollars. Like are you freaken kidding me. Oh and the owner laylonie is not friendly at all. I went in for a girls night with my daughters, they had nails done and I had lashes applied. My youngest (10) had a great service with exactly what she wanted, my oldest ended her pedicure with polish allover her toe skin and a very painful gel removal on her hands. Additionally her nail tech was not a nail tech but a cosmetologist. My lashes look fine but she used "crown" extensions which I've never had before and are still uncomfortable today. They also look like false lashes rather than a more natural extension. When I googled crown lashes it said said they are used to more quickly apply extensions and that they are not applied to the lash which is technically what an extension is? So I'm not sure what I paid for? \. Its a beautiful facility I just wish that you could make sure you were booking someone who is well trained in specific services instead of someone who just has a bit of experience. Don't think we will be back. Later today day I had 10-15 lashes from each eye fall out despite following the aftercare routine suggested...grumpy about wasting money. read more

I went here over a week ago and I really had to think about the rating I wanted to give this place to me a pedicure that earns five stars has to be spot on in every way. The atmosphere of this place is absolutely beautiful and the cleanliness of this place deserves five stars. The techs were very friendly and my end result is a beautiful pedicure they also deserves five stars BUT To me one of the best parts about a good pedicure is the chair as well as the massage and both of these lacked here. The chair that you sit in is just a regular swivel chair (somewhat uncomfortable actually) and I love a good massaging/heated chair and the technician barely rubbed my legs let alone could I call it a massage. And the overall reason for my three stars is the price.... $50 for a pedicure. I really want a wow on every level for such an expensive pedi. I wouldn't go back for a pedicure that's average for an above average price however i do plan to go back to try their other services though. read more

I found this place on yelp. I came for a full spa birthday celebration for myself and a family member and disappointed is an understatement. We were running a bit late and called ahead of time to see if we would need to reschedule they said no we can still accommodate your services please come. So instead of my family member and I doing everything together we split up for one to soak while the other massaged and vice versa. I've Traveled and spa'd quite a bit never to experience a soak where I had to run my own water. There was no botanical treatment or oils in the water just bath salts which I couldn't even smell in the water (cheap). There was no table to sit your magazines or drinks on during the soak. They offered only one mimosa the rest were $6 each. The towel to dry off was hard and uncomfortable (cheap) not plush like I'm used to from a luxury spa. My 60min massage was only thirty minutes long. There was a lengthy wait between each service to the next however we were rushed to change clothes and get a pedicure which was the worst experience. My family member had Takiya who was AWESOME but I had another girl who walked away after putting on one coat of paint and left with no warning. I didn't get my feet massaged, no cuticle oil, no second layer of nail polish or top coat and there was polish left all over my toes. I had to ask another technician to complete the job. When I brought up my concerns to the manager she defended the technician stating that she was rushing to get to another appointment. She offered no discount and didn't even give me the first time 10% off discount that they advertise for my $400 bill. It was my first time there but I will not be back they charge luxury prices but they have no idea what that means at all. I do not recommend this place for a spa day. read more

First time at Glosshouz today - absolutely beautiful facility! Blow dry bar, manicure bar and pedicure section. There is a gorgeous room off to the side with a lounge for private parties & food. I thought it was just the salon/mani/pedi part of the business, but, through another door was the entrance to a full service spa - brand new upscale spa rooms with full service facials, wraps, massage, exfoliation and specialty baths. I had a blowout with the adorable Aimee - she did a fantastic job just before I headed out of town. I would totally host a bridal party or girls retreat here! Very upscale overall design & feeling, great customer service centric spa and salon with excellent options for snacks & beverages. I highly recommend!!! read more

I set up what I hoped to be a nice massage for my 12 week pregnant wife who had been feeling horrible her whole pregnancy. I called to make the appointment, told the receptionist that I needed to book a prenatal appointment and was told all of their massage therapists were trained in prenatal. Only needed to pick a time and specify that it was for a prenatal massage when my wife arrived. The day came, my wife showed up only to be told that the massage therapist was not trained in prenatal and would have to wait an hour for a therapist that was. They gave her a free smoothie (the reason for one star, would be zero otherwise) since it was right during lunch time and she is pregnant. After waiting over an hour and a half in the waiting room... no such thing as a spa here... they finally called her back at 12:20, with the original appt booked for 11. We had signed up for a 60 minute massage, they gave her about a 30 minute massage and luckily comped what bit of pathetic massage she did get.. the massage therapist was rude about it, saying she had another client and to talk to the front desk... clearly did not value my wife as a customer. So disappointed. My wife came home crying. If you are looking for a good massage where they treat you well, this just isn't the place. read more
