So my husband's band was playing a concert in downtown Denver, and I decided to treat myself to a blowout in order to look extra nice for the concert. I had been to a Drybar in San Francisco so I knew what to expect. Located at Park Meadows Mall in the Vistas, the salon was very cute and clean. They offer a complimentary drink with your service and I chose a Mimosa (of course!). They hand you a menu of different style options. The stylist I had was very nice and sweet. I liked the end result of my hairstyle, just wish it would have had a little more volume. But overall a good experience and if I have a special event, I would definitely return. read more

My bestie and I wanted to complement our special night out for the Eras tour with a blowout at Drybar. I haven't gotten a strict blowout in ages and was excited to relax and let someone else do one of my least favorite "chores," blowdrying! She booked appointments in advance online. Upon arrival, we were asked for a drink order and given the menu of hairstyles to choose from. I got a glass of champagne (alcoholic bevvies are included in the price) and picked out the Mai Tai style for my hair. From there, my stylist got to shampooing. We were in and out in about 45 minutes and I loved how my hair looked and felt. It was such a nice treat for a tired mom of two and a great addition to our fun night! The total was about $70 including tip. All in all, I'll definitely come back in the future for special occasions. read more

I had signed up for the membership following a surgery that didn't allow me to style my own hair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The first visit was wonderful. I am so bummed that I didn't get the stylist's name. She was friendly and the blowout was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My second visit was unfortunately a completely different experience. Both my mom and I came in for a little treat to ourselves. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were accommodating for her last minute apt and the front desk was friendly and greeted us warmly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My apt started first, my stylist was not unkind but I wouldn't go as far to call her friendly. The apt felt rushed and we didn't talk the entire time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As she was blow drying my hair I could see in the mirror that she was watching the tv, which bothered me because she also continually pulled on my hair and caught my baby hairs in the round brush. It was like she was on autopilot and couldn't care less about the person in her chair. She had to use a straightener on some pieces by my face post blowdrying to straighten them out, which I never have to do myself. The end result curls didn't look nice. They were curled in different directions and clumped together. I didn't want a lot of spray, but even so they were flat a hour later. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My mom's stylist was very soft spoken and my mom has hearing aids. She didn't greet my mom, just led her to the chair and asked "do you know what you want".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was really put off by this but even more annoyed when she got short with my mom because she didn't hear her about going to the sink to wash.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to interject to ask her to speak up because my mom had never been in and was hard of hearing, but the stylist was unapologetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In short, we both sat there feeling disappointed and left underwhelmed. This was my first time at dry bar as well as my last. I came here before a short vacation for my birthday, with the hopes that the style would last throughout the trip and I wouldn't have to do much to maintain it. I have sew in extensions in my hair (a $20 upcharge) and was expecting them to be well versed on how to handle my hair and take care of it. My stylist began ripping through my hair with a brush immediately after washing it as I listened to the sound of my hair tearing. At one point I thought she pulled my hair so hard that a portion of my extension fell out (it didn't, thank god.). [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the end of my service I asked her to fix the front pieces of my hair as they are curtain bangs and need to be styled differently than the rest of my hair, and while explaining how I wanted them to look she turned to me, handing me the styling tool, and asked me if I just wanted to do it myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I paid and left, and by the time I got to my car almost all of my curls had fallen out. My daughter had her hair done and we are both very disappointed in the results. She has curly hair that she wanted straightened for an event. The stylist complained about her hair, ripped through it and was rude and disrespectful. The end result was awful and the entire experience left her feeling awful and her hair looking bad. While I was really looking forward to DryBar, I left utterly disappointed!!! I booked an early morning appointment (far earlier than I was hoping for), so that I could avoid the stress of doing my own hair during my best friend's "getting ready" wedding festivities later that same morning. Upon sitting down, I requested my stylist make my curls more tight and full as they needed to last all day. She proceeded to tell me she was doing "loose curls with a more beachy feel"?! I'm sorry...WHAT? I have really thick hair and I have never had problems with my curls falling out right away. Not only was my end result the OPPOSITE of what I had asked for, my curls literally fell out as I was leaving the store!!! Getting ready with the girls was not as smooth as it could have been that morning, as I had to spend the majority of it re-curling my hair myself. The worst part? I was not the only member of the wedding that went to DryBar that morning and left disappointed with how their hair looked. Embarrassing! Overall - a complete YIKES! Made an impromptu appointment for my birthday. The Park Meadows location did not have a 7AM appointment but they had one after work so I booked that. The salon is super pretty. They decorated everything beautifully with pops of yellow everywhere. Even the paper straw matched. I mentioned it was my birthday and she snuck away to put a happy birthday sign at my styling chair which was super cute! I did the Mai Tai style which is messy beachy hair. The stylist was amaze. She was able to give my hair volume and she teased it real good. I def liked the style the 2nd day, the curls were less intense and looked more beachy. I felt like right after she styled it the center of my hair was super curly and the end were stick straight-it looked odd. I didn't take pics because I was rushing to get ready for our dinner ressies but the style looks amaze day 2. I'm also impressed it looked decent after sleeping on it. This is def a special occasion event. it's nice to feel pampered and get your hair did but it is a bit pricey at $45/pop. I do enjoy the little signs that show how much to tip ($10). There is a membership program of $80/month for 2 blowouts and a free style on your bday but this is the second time I've ever done this and let's be real, I don't get out much. read more

When I have the opportunity to get my hair done at a Drybar, it's always a pleasant experience. This new location is no exception and I have many to compare it to including Pasadena, CA, Houston, TX, and Cherry Creek (Denver), CO. The whole experience is well thought out and executed superbly: *First you check in and they take your drink order (orange juice, coffee, tea, water, Diet Coke). *Discuss what hairstyle you want, go to the washing station and get your hair all wet, lathered up, and clean, then head back to your chair for a blow dry and style while you watch one of the chick flicks playing on one of the multiple TVs! *They take care of you and make you feel pretty when you leave. read more

I was super excited to try Drybar for my engagement photos. While the experience was great the end result was not.. half my curls fell straight within an hour and I had noticeable crimps in the top of my hair from the curling iron/straightener. The girl who did my hair was super sweet but I really expected to walk out of there with perfect curls like I have with other salons. I would not recommend Drybar in the future. read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while! My hair has never looked so good. I ended up doing the membership which is 2 blow outs a month and any unused ones actually roll over to the next! you'll also get products at a discount with the membership. It's $85 a month and each blow out is $49 so if you'll be coming often you'll save a bit. I got an updo with a braid and the scalp scrub with massage. It felt so good and relaxing. They offer you a drink when you arrive as well, I got a coffee but I think they offer tea, juice, water or water. Not sure but maybe even wine? I also saw there were some cookies offered at the front desk. I was extremely happy with how the hair looked at the end (super healthy) and I also ended up buying the brush crush which I absolutely love! They also tossed in some free samples as well so make sure to ask for some! read more

Five star experience from beginning to end! I've been wanting to try Drybar and a Groupon for the Park Meadows location finally got me in. Booking an appointment was so easy online and so was canceling my original appointment (had to reschedule). I went on a Sunday afternoon so it was a little busy but nothing too bananas. I had my blowout with Hannah and she was superb! She went over the process and look book with me so I could get the style I was looking for and we went from there. You can add on a deep conditioning with your blow out or just the normal wash then they get to work! The process was smooth, quick and delightful. They are offer sparkling water, coffee, soda and tea to guests and have movies playing on while you get your hair done. I've been to Drybar quite a few times in the past with great results. This last time though I was disappointed to find that my curls didn't even last 30 minutes to my family photo shoot. I asked for teasing to add volume and to make sure my hair stayed, but that didn't happen. I'm a bit disappointed as I was waiting over 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment to be seen and I had hoped that I would have been taken care of better. Update-Emailed the company per their request and never heard from them. I feel that goes a long way to understanding they could care less about their customers. Will not be back, there are other blowout companies in Denver that I'm sure can deliver far more superior service. read more

I wanted to love this experience, and there were a few things that wowed me. I love the parking spaces reserved for Dry Bar clients and the tea/coffee that you get offered. Branding is on point. However, the music is terrible. Anything but relaxing and also super loud. I have shorter hair and I showed the stylist a photo which she did not even come close to replicating. I KNOW this is possible as I have styled my own hair in this manner. I don't think they stylists are trained to do short hair. My stylist used very few products and my hair- which again- holds for days- and so my $50 blow out fell the very next day. It's an expensive experience (tips appreciated!) that I don't recommend unless you have long hair and love crappy music while you pamper yourself. read more

Their hair stylists are likely not experienced enough and even when I have asked them to do a different style in their lookbook, my hair has ended up looking the same. Absolutely disappointed in my experience on 12/9. I was in for an Uptini for a black tie event that evening. My stylist appeared a little disheveled. In making small chat, she shared about her severe anxiety as well as the fact that her boyfriend struggles with alcohol. I showed a few pictures of styles I liked. I came with my hair a little damp still from showering that morning. She dried it a little bit and then started styling it. I wasn't happy with her finished product (prom curls in front, and just a bun with lots of fly always). She should have known if my hair texture wasn't going to work for a specific style. I wanted some volume. She ended up taking the whole thing out because she wasn't able to get volume without doing so. I watched several women walk out with gorgeous blow outs. I even said to the stylist I was open to a pretty blow out. She assured me they could do an up do. She got the manager who again I showed pictures to and again I told her I wanted volume. She had my hair done in 20 minutes and again it was a sloppy bun with fly aways that she just tried to hairspray. I wasn't thrilled with the style still, but I knew I was going to cry and ruin my make up I had professionally done if I said something at that moment. I had one more stop before leaving the mall and by the time I got in my car 20 minutes after leaving the salon, my hair was falling out of the bun. It wasn't even centered on my head. I've called the salon twice (once yesterday on my way home, and at 3:30 this afternoon) to speak to the manager who has been with a client both times. I've been wanting to try Drybar for a while and finally had the chance! I had my hair done for a wedding I was attending and loved everything - from my experience to the end result. This place is very clean and decorated super cute. You can sip on water, tea, coffee or soda while you're getting your hair done and they have movies playing for you to watch as well! One of my favorite things was that your back is to the mirror the entire time you're getting your hair done. It's nice not to have to stare at yourself like you do in a typical salon! All the Drybar products smell great and the stylists know how to achieve any style in the look-book for your hair type. I will definitely be back for the next special occasion! read more

My stylist was very nice, the customer service is definitely there with Drybar. The studio is cute, I found the music a little too loud and dance-hall-y. I'm not giving more starts because, as we all can guess, this isn't really worth the price. I think mostly because I don't think the Drybar hair products are of high quality. They smell great but I find the blowouts I get from my hair stylist at an Aveda salon are MUCH better. I didn't get great volume from my treatment at Drybar. I also paid extra for the Bay Breeze treatment which is supposed to be ultra moisturizing and I feel like the blowout sucked all the moisture out of my hair and it was still pretty tangled when wet even after using their detangler. If I were you, I'd pay about the same for a trim and get a blowout from an actual studio. read more

The worst experience ever. My groomer (I call her that because she had the skills of a dog groomer) had no skills whatsoever. I will never, ever, ever again. I caution anyone to try anywhere else. I went to the salon because I had an injured hand and was unable to blow dry my hair. I brought a picture, which she assured me she could duplicate. Epic fail. It was a nice and quick way of getting a little curl in your life. I just needed a few curls to enhance a look for the day. I have no skills when it comes to grooming my own hair. The stylist tried to teach me how to do things so I could do it at home myself. My beach curls lasted the whole day without any problems. I absolutely love this place. I decided to get a barfly membership and wow! It's really improved my mental health. I love coming into this location. It's always clean and bright. The staff is so sweet and welcoming. I especially love Asia! She so fun to talk to & she's excellent at hair! I highly suggest requesting her when you book. Park meadows parking is a bit of a hassle especially on the weekends so plan on at least 10 mins to park. The weekends it could take longer, especially during the holidays. I've been there a few times and have been happy with it. However was disappointed today as I had a 10:15 appointment I was a few minutes early and the hostess said they were running about 5 minutes behind schedule. I did not end up getting started till 10:37, wash with one stylist then sit and wait a few more minutes for style with another person. I asked what the delay was, if someone called in. They said that they fit in a mother with her daughter and they had to wash her hair which took longer. While that's really nice of them to accommodate the family they should have at least asked me/customers with appointments if we were ok with that. I have a family and a busy schedule so the delay set me back. I probably won't go back to this location anymore. read more

Drybar has changed my life. Sounds dramatic. But I walk in there- in hysterics- and the ladies that greet me at the front desk are so welcoming. This place is seriously awesome. Been here twice now, and both times have knocked my socks off. Update: Though I still do love DryBar, I have to update because I am becoming frustrated. They seem to have high turnover, and so their best stylists seem to leave. The remaining stylists I have been to use too high of heat on my blonde hair, causing it to become even more brittle than usual. I wish the Cherry Creek location was closer. read more
