She was amazing and had me come in for a consult first to make sure she understood what I wanted and that we were on the same page. Yes!!! I recently moved to the area and was not jazzed about having to find a new stylist. But I did my due diligence and read a million Yelp reviews on my drive to move here and booked with Anna. She is AMAZING! I have long hair that is quickly turning grey and I thought that I needed to start highlighting again to blend it. I don't love putting bleach in my hair as it turns to straw. Anna immediately saw my hesitation and instead suggested a reverse balayage where she kept my natural brown and weaved it into my long strands in some places to make it totally blend with dimension. It looks so beautiful!!! And it's still super healthy. It got the effect I wanted without the damage, I am beyond happy! She is super knowledgeable about her craft and takes the time to talk with you to figure out what will work best and to ensure that you have the right understanding of reality and the grow-out process. I really appreciated that and will definitely come back. She did a beautiful cut as well and even styled my hair prettier than it looked on my wedding day, no joke. Received a haircut from Anna a couple weeks ago, and I just got home from my first balayage appointment - I AM IN LOVE. I've been to amazing stylists and great salons over the years for color/highlights/balayage and never, EVER has my hair looked this amazing. She takes time to ask and answer questions about what you're looking for to make sure you get what you want. She consults you and gives you multiple options of things that would look good. Expert hairstylist!! She named her business well because she is truly an outlier when it comes to skill, enthusiasm, and customer service. On top of that she genuinely wants to help people. I came to her with a true hair disaster- color I'd been trying to have corrected for nearly 4 months. She explained to me my options and set expectations for what she could and could not do, would and would not recommend. Honestly it was like a consultation with a physician (but one that checked for understanding before moving on)! For the next almost 5 hours she meticulously placed what looked like 400 foils, toned and cut my hair. It was a long day for her but she insisted on styling it to make sure it looked just right. When she turned me around to see the outcome I was in utter disbelief. She had taken what had felt like a hair tragedy for 4 months to me, and turned it into something straight out of a magazine. I was prepared for my hair to look better but I wasn't imagining how fantastic it would be. Moral of the story, don't let anyone but Anna touch your hair again.
