It is clean and well-maintained, and there's a coffee bar as you come in. I have my hair done by Carmelina Kramer, and she is such a hair blessing. I moved to Colorado in August 2013 from North Carolina, where I had the same hairdresser my entire life (14+ years). I have never been very picky about my hair because it grows so fast, but I wanted to find someone I could trust to do it for me. Carmelina is honest; if she thinks your cut/color idea isn't going to work for you, she'll tell you so in a heartbeat. She's passionate about what she does and incredibly technical. She always wants the final product to be the best product. She once re-shampoo'd my hair because she wasn't happy with how it was moving. She's personable, easy to talk to, and incredibly sassy. The first time I got my hair cut here, she mentioned as she was cutting that it would look beautiful with highlights and started explaining the different colors she would use, etc. She was just thinking out loud, but I liked the sound of it so much, I said what the heck. The final product was beautiful and nuanced. I just cut four inches off of my hair and had summertime highlights put in this weekend. At this point, I basically just bring in a photo for her to see what shape I'm going for and leave the rest to her. She's a master, so I figure I should just let a master work. She always seems to be having so much fun. I'm glad I found Carmelina!

I've had fine haircuts, from all over the world…read more When I got to my appointment, I found out my appointment was with Priscilla, who is not who I made the appointment with. I'm a male, who just wanted a few highlights in my bangs, and a trim, which was $35. We didn't discuss the cost for bang highlights, but if I had gotten half my head done, it should still have cost only $105. During the process, she put half the foils I asked for, and ignored me when I said it wasn't enough, saying 'it would be fine.' I asked her to please give me platinum highlights, and when she pulled out the foils, my hair was orange, which she said would be fine, because she was going to tone it (which I didn't want, I wanted platinum hair, as I asked for). She finally finished the cut, after hacking away at my hair. -Not like a razor cut, which is evenly uneven, but from short, to long, back to short again, in a hideous, rat's nest of a cut, which had no shape to it. By the time my hair was dry, I saw it had been dyed to an orangish brown, and was an uneven color along the hair strands. I went in for a cut somewhere else, and didn't even say anything, but my new stylist immediately asked who destroyed my hair. She seemed to think I had cut it myself.. With the tip, I paid Priscilla over $200!! For the highlights in my bangs, and a men's haircut ($180 for the services). She said she would redo it, if I wanted, but it would be during some other appointment time, which I did not want to have to go back for. I was also not going to let her touch my hair again, and needed to get a decent cut somewhere else, in time for a memorial service. I used to do hair for a living, so, I'm very aware of when I've gotten a hatchet job, by a bad hairstylist. I would not recommend Priscilla to my worst enemy. If you want a hairdresser who listens, addresses your concerns, and gives you an even haircut, do not see Priscilla. I am very angry and disgusted, at the hideous hairdo, and the $200 I was overcharged for, and will never get back- I have seldom been quite this disregarded during a procedure, and I don't think I've ever had a cut that was this raggedy. I looked like I had mange.
