I went to see Michelle Pace for the first time last night and had a tall order to help me get to a specific result with my hair. I wanted to add in ashy brown lowlights and tone down the blond parts that were not as ashy as I wanted. She really listened to me and did exactly what I was envisioning and wanted. My sister and I went to get our hair done at the Prana Beauty & Wellness Salon with Jessica De Somma. She did such an amazing job on both of our hairstyles! My sister was just expecting a quick basic cut on her undercut but came out with a well done, evened out cut with a well-done design. I was just planning on getting a basic trim, but after seeing how careful and meticulous she was with my sister's hair, I had way more trust for her to handle a big chop off of my hair. She handles your hair very gently and makes sure that you leave with you completely satisfied with her work! She uses amazing products too which left my hair feeling nice and soft. If we lived in the area, my whole family would make her our primary hair stylist to come to regularly! I highly recommend going to her for your hair needs. read more

This building is built up of different salons with many other services! As soon as you walk in there's a little store with snacks and refreshment! went here to C Our Beauty to get a Brazilian wax and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I had Charis for my wax and she was just amazing she made me feel so comfortable and it made my experience so much better! The wax lasted about 35 minutes in total with a hydro jelly mask and I totally recommend getting the hydro jelly mask after, it was so soothing! This is now my go to wax salon! read more

Had a voucher for a root touch-up, haircut and eyebrow wax with Janine (Suite 212). Just an amazing experience and I left the salon feeling like a fashion model. The only thing I needed was a fan in front of me to give me that hair in the breeze look! I go here because the person that cuts my hair rents a space at Solera. For those that don't know this is a facility that rents out spaces to private salon specialists. I would assume that if it is Salon-related you could find someone in this building that can do it for you. There may be massage and other health services like that as well. I'm not totally sure because I only go here for haircuts. It is a cool concept and those that rent the spaces for their businesses seem to enjoy the model and the independence. I'm sure that you can find a directory online somewhere of all the various services that are offered in this building. read more

I am so pleased that I found Solera Salon and Spa. The place consists of booths which are rented out to different people who specialize in different things. It is clean and well-maintained, and there's a coffee bar as you come in. I have my hair done by Carmelina Kramer, and she is such a hair blessing. I moved to Colorado in August 2013 from North Carolina, where I had the same hairdresser my entire life (14+ years). I have never been very picky about my hair because it grows so fast, but I wanted to find someone I could trust to do it for me. Carmelina is honest; if she thinks your cut/color idea isn't going to work for you, she'll tell you so in a heartbeat. She's passionate about what she does and incredibly technical. She always wants the final product to be the best product. She once re-shampoo'd my hair because she wasn't happy with how it was moving. She's personable, easy to talk to, and incredibly sassy. The first time I got my hair cut here, she mentioned as she was cutting that it would look beautiful with highlights and started explaining the different colors she would use, etc. She was just thinking out loud, but I liked the sound of it so much, I said what the heck. The final product was beautiful and nuanced. I just cut four inches off of my hair and had summertime highlights put in this weekend. At this point, I basically just bring in a photo for her to see what shape I'm going for and leave the rest to her. She's a master, so I figure I should just let a master work. She always seems to be having so much fun. I'm glad I found Carmelina! read more

Kathleen (Le Style Studios) is the best hairstylist I have ever had! I have been to a lot of hairstylists in the last a couple of years and it always seems that whenever i go to one of them they don't listen to what I want and always end up doing what they feel it should be. Not Kathleen! She is a professional at listening to what I want and implementing it into my haircut! She does an excellent job!!! I just left this place in tears. I am new to the area and after calling multiple places finally booked an appt with a Desiree here at Solera Salon and Spa. I arranged for someone to watch my 5 month old infant and got to the salon...only to wait and wait. After an hour and calling her cell phone multiple times it was evident that she was not going to show. The receptionist didn't seem to care that much that i had been stood up. I asked her if anyone else could do my hair since I already went through the trouble of driving there and someone to watch my baby. After asking her ...she did go and try to find someone else but everyone else was busy. She seemed way more concerned about making Frappuccinos (yes the receptionist is also apparently the barista there) than she did about anything else. She smiled and laughed and just said "sorry" when she couldn't help me. No apology. Really great first impression. I am sure there are other great stylists at this place who aren't flaky but my unfortunate experience with the unprofessional receptionist and the flaky hairdresser Desiree will not have me returning:( UPDATE*** I was contacted days later by Desiree and was told she had an emergency. She apologized and offered to do my hair free of charge. We set up a date and time. An hour before the new appt she called to cancel because she said she had a car accident. She asked if we could reschedule again. Another appt was made and I had my hair done. She did a good job. read more

I started coming here because my stylist, Amanda Michael, moved here. I have been going to her for at least 8 years. My mom also goes to her. She does amazing blonde highlights. I have long hair and love the way she layers it. She also uses great products in my hair. Love the salon. I like that they have a little food/drink bar when you walk in. I always get the complimentary flavored iced green tea. Always friendly staff. They also sell things like gift cards, clothing, and accessories. I bought an awesome purse there once. I like that the salon has individual and shared rooms instead of one big room with a ton of people and commotion. It's a much more relaxing experience. Right off of the highway and easy to get to. Bought a Groupon for Jennifer at Solera Salon on Arapahoe Rd. After various time of trying to set an appointment I finally got a hold of her and she told me she would have to call me after working hours. That never happened. I finally texted her. She gave me one opening in a two week time frame. When I asked about a few other days her rude response via text was: I gave you what's open sorry. Then she texted, I think you should just get a refund as this is not working for us sorry. She obviously did like doing the groupons that she offered. Ray has moved on to greener pastures and following him is his cult like clientele base. Walk ins are welcome, but not recommended because this guy is usually booked up the wazoo! It's a true testament to the amount of work he puts in to insure his clients are completely satisfied. The precision and meticulousness is evident regardless if he's busy or not. The passion is there, this talented guy is not only great at what he does, but he also loves what he does! He's a visionary, and you can sense it and not be compelled whenever he talks about his work and his ambitions. Sure you can go shell out $8 for a cheap haircut elsewhere where the barber will just snip here and there to rush you out the door, but if you want someone who will really take their time to make you look good, you come see Ray. I have had my hair cut and colored by Amanda Michael for years. I have very fine, thin hair that I usually keep at a medium/short length. I consulted with Amanda about the possibility of hair extensions because I have always wanted long, full hair. Amanda explained everything to me in detail and she had all of my questions and concerns answered for me right away. Putting in the extensions was very easy and they are a perfect color match! I absolutely love my hair and it looks great! They are very easy to maintain and I can style it in many different ways. I highly recommend Amanda. They suggested Raquel Avila with Suite Alegria. She was absolutely fabulous! She listened to what I needed and gave me a cut and style that was absolutely perfect.
