I was in there over a month ago and was skeptical about writing a review about a business, but I realized this is the only way that to let other people know how this place treats people. Initially when walking into the spa, I was greeting but never once throughout my wait or treatments was never offered water or anything else to drink. My facial done by Ella was beyond HORRIBLE. I could tell she was new and did not do anything mentioned in the facial description I chose besides two masks, then she practically scraped face off my face. I did not receive an upper body massage or any extractions, as mentioned in the description, as well. My massage there was great. While at my spa day, I had two different altercations with the owner, Laylonie. After my facial, she confronted me about "chickening out" about not getting my eyebrows done. I explained that I decided not to get my eyebrows waxed because Ella was shaking and after one strip, I realized I didn't feel comfortable with it. Laylonie began arguing with me about it and I decided to still wait for my next treatment which was a massage. Laylonie then went to the back and began to gossip to my massage technician about our conversation. After the massage, Laylonie was at the front desk to check me out and she began to argue with me again over the bad services I received for my facial. The conversation consisted of many condescending comments and a passive aggressive attitude by the owner. I paid for my treatments and angrily left. I called back later to get my money back for the facial part of my spa treatments. I couldn't stomach the fact that I paid for a facial that I was supposed to receive. After I had to endure another unprofessional conversation (or debate) with the owner, she agreed to give me my money back for the horrible facial by stating "I guess you can have your money back." I am greatly disappointed by this spa because it is very beautiful and has so much potential. I was planning on making this place my "go to" for my regular facials and massages but with a spa ran this way, I won't be returning. read more

I had a unique experience at this salon. The technician was very warm and welcoming, which I appreciated, but the overall experience wasn't quite what I expected from a place of this caliber. Since I was the last client of the day, the salon was empty, and the other staff were cleaning up around me, which made things feel a bit awkward. The pedicure itself was okay--my cuticles weren't cleaned up, and the gel polish started chipping in less than two weeks. The dim lighting also made me wonder if the technician could see my toes properly. The conversation was another unexpected element. While the technician was very passionate about what she was discussing, she carried the conversation to the cashier, who looked visibly uncomfortable, especially as the topic was ethnically focused regarding avocados. It just felt out of place for an upscale salon. Overall, it's a cute space, and I might try again with a different technician to see if the experience is more in line with what I'd expect. read more

Wow! Just wow!!! This place is amazing. I have been wanting to check this place out, for awhile. They had an open house event on July 18th, so In dropped in to see. I was able to watch a live demo; Lauren (RN) was injecting a clients lips with Juvederm, she did an amazing job! I was able to put my name in for a drawing and I actually won. I won a Restylane treatment. I spoke to the owner Lonie and she was great, I asked about this product, because I have never used it before. I really wanted the Juvederm. Lonie, offered to let me trade the Restylane for Juvederm. I scheduled with Lauren, right away. Lauren is an artist, she took her time and really worked with me to get the results that I wanted. I am thrilled with the results! My lips look amazing! I will definitely be back, for Botox with Lauren and other services! The staff was great. They really make you feel welcome and no high pressure sales tactics. Thanks Jani D read more

I went to glosshouz for a root touch up, high and low lights and the colors look gorgeous. Services provided were professional , friendly and yet I felt like a part of the family. It was like a wonderful girls day out. The owner was polite and very professional , my stylist superb and all the staff I met from stylists to nail tech, estheticians were friendly , greeted me with a smile and a welcome to the salon. I can't wait go back. I live in DFW, Tx and Glosshouz provides all the services I want and more in one locale. There was no pressure or uncomfortable sales pitch just great customer service , a rarity. Coming back in 3 weeks for a little face work , can't wait. I'm now a exclusive patron of Glosshouz. Give it a try and if I were u I'd ask about their membership program it pays for itself . Very smart business owner and yet provides such a great service to customers. There is no down side. read more

I hate that I even have to write a bad review on any place, but I had the most worst experience at this spa. Although the spa is beautiful, I would never return due to the horrible services and the attitude I was given by the OWNER, Lani. After my treatments, I stated to the owner my concerns with the services... she quickly began to get very defensive and "didn't understand" why a person would be upset over getting horrible services. She talked over me, interrupted me and never apologized for the horrible service I received. Needless to say, I will never be returning here. Unfortunately, the services I paid for were not the quality you would expect at a "high end spa." Not to mention, the unprofessionalism that went on in the front and behind the scenes here, starting with the owner, Lani. read more

Where do I even begin to start... From the terrible attitude of the front desk manager Nicole, to the abysmal efforts and job done on my hair by their hair technician Laura- I've never seen a full beauty spa with such poor practices in my entire lifetime. It was jaw dropping to say the least. Not only is it the worst experience I've ever had out of the 100s if not 1000s of trips I've had to beauty facilities, but downright near the worst experience I've ever had in general from ANY business I've stepped foot into. I can't believe the owner hired these people to begin with. Literally some of the worst people I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Wouldn't come here again if you paid me to. read more

honestly I've never been much of a spa person so i was quite hesitant to go for a massage. oh. my. goodness it was wonderful. it's absolutely worth it, the staff was so wonderful, everywhere was clean, and i left feeling incredibly relaxed and smelling wonderful! i ended up coming back two days later to get a facial and some spa treatments. it was absolutely godly wonderful. Got a sugar scrub at my massage and left very silky smooth. Their staff are so sweet and are very very good at their job. My aunt got a massage therapist that helped her back pain so much that she convinced my mother to get it. they were both very happy. 10/10 would recommend! read more

My mother and I came here today for a massage and a pedicure, and we were both blown away! Kaitlin gave my 91 year old mother "the best massage of her life", and Kay gave me the most deluxe pedicure I have had- she is super sweet with high attention to detail! Anna at the front desk went out of her way as well to make us beautiful lattes and went over their membership option with us which looks like a very good deal. To top it all off, I left my reading glasses there and they were able to find them in my robe and Shelly called to let me know- definitely over and above! I couldn't be happier and highly recommend this place! read more

I have been seeing Bianca for eyelash extensions and she is awesome!!! I have been getting eyelash extensions at other places for over one year and they have never lasted long and usually start falling out within the first week. Bianca is the only person who I have seen where my extensions last. Bianca has a great personality and is very flexible and will give you exactly what you ask for. I love, love Bianca and she is the only person from this point forward who I will see for extensions! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! When I moved from California I dreaded finding a place to get my lashes, wax, and facials done. And this is the PERFECT place. It's drop dead gorgeous in there (for all if my content creators), clean, and customer oriented. Not to mention the service! Selma will make you feel like you've been coming for years! And to top it all off, I sit in luxury while I sip on my flavored mimosa. Thank you Glosshouz! read more

Return visit (9/19) for brow shaping and tinting and lash tinting. Alexis was amazing and took great time and care in training a new member of the team. It was great to learn about her over 15 years of experience, and the attention to detail she takes when shaping brows and tinting them to make sure they are exactly what the client wanted and needed. Absolutely recommend her and can't wait until my next service. read more

After moving back from Nashville, I needed to find a new spa/salon to call home, and Glosshouz is it. Im extremely picky about where I'll spend my relaxation time, and I literally can't imagine going anywhere else in Denver. Upscale and beautiful. Great services and amazing staff. My mom and I come here once at least once if not twice a month and we'll never go anywhere else! read more

I went as my friend's +1 for their Open House and had a great time! Beautiful, clean facility. Great customer service. Selma was so warm, welcoming and professional. As busy as it was, she took the time to give us a tour and answered all our questions. We felt special and well-taken care of. Great atmosphere and the mimosas and food were delicious! I'll definitely be back. read more

Amber the injector is unskilled and unprofessional. Don't waste your money!!! Everything at this place is overpriced compared to similar local businesses. Also, much less RACIST and CLASSIST behavior at the other salons. Only God can judge me and you! Whenever you point your finger at someone ride you get 3 more pointing back at you. Word to your MOTHERF*CKER. read more
