Despite having a confirmed appointment, my friend and I were left sitting ungreeted for 7-10 minutes. When staff finally appeared, they stated they had been in the back with face masks on and still had visible remnants on their faces. Our nail technicians never introduced themselves, never confirmed the service we booked, and immediately began working. The service we received did not match what was booked or what is described on the salon's website. The massage portion lasted no more than a couple of minutes and was so light it was barely noticeable. Complimentary items listed in the service description were never provided. At checkout, we were incorrectly told we had booked a completely different service, despite providing our email confirmation. At no point were we told the actual price of the service before checkout. We were simply rung up and told we were receiving a "20% discount." However, the total charged ($61) does not align with the service we booked, which should have been in the low-$50 range with the advertised discount applied. Instead, we were charged for a more expensive service without explanation or consent. After leaving, we realized our feet were still extremely rough and returned to the salon. I was forced to explain our concerns in front of another customer because a staff member refused to speak with me privately. During this interaction, I was spoken to in a condescending manner and questioned about whether I was "educated in nails." We were told a manager would call us regarding a partial refund. No call was made, and when we followed up, we were informed that our complaint had never been documented. When we finally communicated with management, specifically Greg, the situation escalated further. Greg repeatedly misrepresented our complaint, blamed us for issues unrelated to what we raised, and ignored repeated clarifications. During both text and phone communication, his tone was dismissive and unprofessional. He raised his voice, spoke over us, and accused us of "threatening" him simply for stating that we would be leaving an honest review if the issue could not be resolved. He also implied we should be grateful for a discount that was already being offered as a standard promotion. This was not a single mistake. It was a consistent pattern of poor service, lack of transparency, and unprofessional conduct from both staff and management. Based on how this situation was handled, I would strongly caution others before booking here.

I did need a rebase, so I decided that I might as well get one. Then the tech, Trudy, began taking off my nails! She said that I needed a new full set, at $20 more than the rebase. She did a wonderful job, actually, and my nails look great. But she should have asked before taking off my nails. One thumb did need to be redone, but I had had two nails redone during my last rebase. It was the same price for 8 nails as it was for 10. The four stars are for the great job that she did. I had forgotten why I stopped coming here for mani-pedis. They are relentless upsellers. I was wearing a mask, and another employee immediately tried to sell me microblading for my eyebrows, at $350. My eyebrows are already tattooed. I barely escaped 20 minutes later, after laughing at $350 for a touch-up. If my nails hadn't turned out so well, I would have given three stars for the annoying upselling. I was shown pix on the eyebrow lady's phone, and she does do a great job. But $350 for a touch-up? That's ridiculous. It's a nice, clean space, with high ceilings. The chairs are comfortable. Trudy didn't use cuticle oil, which surprised me. They have a large polish selection, although I brought my own. They offer several pedicures, starting at $30 and going up. I have no doubt that they push the more expensive pedicures. If you do go here, be prepared to either spend more than you planned, or resist the inevitable upselling. The eyebrow lady pounced on me as I was paying for my nails.

He is amazing and did an amazing job on my nails! I wish I knew her name because another lady was as well that did my snowflake pattern on my nails. Bi was gentle with my nails and did an amazing Christmas themed French tip. This salon is smaller but it's clean and the techs here all seemed super nice. I felt so bad getting there so late and making them stay but I couldn't take the nails my previous person from another salon. They didn't complain once and I did tip him good for doing an amazing job and for me making them stay! This is such a great shop and I'm so happy to have found my new nail place close to home.

The location is very modern and open. I started going to Nest about 2 months ago after a horrible experience at another nail salon (a cheapy nail salon you see in every shopping plaza). I wanted to find a place that's clean and reputable. Nest is a bit expensive but trust me, it's better to spend a little extra to avoid future headaches. I feel my nails are safe at this nail salon. They give you a goodie bag your first visit (cuticle oil and file). I've been using the oil consistently and my cuticles are much better! I love that they make you wash your hands before you pick out your colors. Every nail salon should do this. After each person they wipe down their stations and change files (disposable ones are used). Sanitation is key and Nest definitely felt clean at both locations. I had Monique today and she did a wonderful job! She was very friendly and experienced. The only downfall with Nest is that you have to be on top of your appointments. Before you leave, schedule that appointment. They usually fill up quick so make sure you are on top of that. I didn't have an issue scheduling appointment with this location but with the Lakewood location is so much harder. Will be back.
