I went in with a very specific request... Give me Instagram worthy nails that will look amazing in a photo taken with the beach background, that are functional, and that will look beautiful every day of my cruise. Emmy did not disappoint, and I. Am. OBSESSED. The vibe of the location is cool, swanky, luxe. The techs are amazing. They have such unique curated experiences, I love going to this salon for my nail needs! read more

Enjoying blissful pedicures!! The staff was very professional, friendly, and accommodating! We all picked the "walking on a dream" pedicure. Included sea salt soak, nail trim, cuticle care, callus treatment, exfoliating scrub, hot stone massage, lotion, and color of choice! Relaxing chill vibe and loved their luxurious massage chairs during the pedicure! Very clean & upscale. read more

My son went to this salon for a pedicure, but he was refused service simply because he is Asian. This kind of treatment is unprofessional, discriminatory, and unacceptable. No one should ever be judged or denied based on their appearance. I give this place 0 stars -- it was a horrible and deeply disappointing experience. read more

This was the first time I've gotten a pedicure in over 2.5 years. My feet needed some extra TLC, and we decided to give Sassy Nail Spa a shot, since it was brand new. This nail spot is located in the Grumpy's plaza on 210, behind Culvers. Parking was easy, although it may be more challenging once more of the tenants occupy stores. We tried to make an appointment online, but there was no way of making one. We walked in, let the staff know we were here for a pedicure (3 people), and we were told to pick out our colors and they'd be right with us. If you're into gel or SNS, they had a TON of options. They had a good enough selection for regular polish, but you can always bring your own polish with you. A few minutes later we were seated back in the pedicure area. The chairs looked so new and inviting. Each chair was equipped with a massager, remote, and tray table. The staff asked us if we wanted anything to drink. I will say it's always nice when you go with a few people that you all can get your nails done at the same time, that wasn't really the case here and it may have been to being short staffed (or at least that's my assumption). We all got pedicures, but they all started roughly 10-15 minutes after each other. So not horrible and I think once they have a booking platform, the timing will be right. Most of the techs were wearing masks. The woman who did my feet was very good. She took a lot of attention to detail when it came to painting my nails. I did check out their pedi menu and it's pretty extensive. They had everything from their basic service at $32 to one that went up to $90 (and everything in between). I decided to go with the basic, which included a scrub, lotion, foot massage, nail shaping, and took about 30 minutes from start to finish. All in all I really enjoyed my experience. It was nice to have a pedicure, staff was friendly, prices were in line with most places, it was new and clean. Pros: -Staff was friendly -Wore masks -Variety of nail polish options -Variety of pedicure options -Brand new place Cons: -Wish you could book an appointment online (I did see an appt book, so I'm assuming you could probably call and make an appointment) Tips: Bring your own polish, that way if your polish chips you can easily do a touch up. read more

We had a reservation for three. My daughter made the appointment to celebrate my birthday together with my other daughter. There was "one" nail tech available! So, my oldest started hers first. 30 minutes later my younger daughter started her and 20 minutes after that, mine started. We were there an hour and a half for the basic pedicure. Yes the nail techs were friendly and we got good pedicures, but when someone makes an appointment for three people, there should be enough nail techs available that all three can get pedicures simultaneously. I won't be going back to that location. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON. DO NOT SUPPORT !! If anyone appreciates great work from their nail tech, Hannah. Who worked at Sassy Nails, i would strongly encourage you NOT TO GO BACK TO SASSY NAILS. They are under new ownership and DO NOT treat their original staff with any respect. They let her go and trying to take her large clientele following from her, sending her home and told customers who had appts with her she left on an emergency .. which is a LIE! I have referred lots of friends to Hannah being that she does an excellent job on nail's, and you know if you have found that nail tech, just like your hair person, you want to keep them. So Hannah will be at another salon and I will post it when/where she starts! Support great people, NOT THE SHIT BAG OWNERS that treat employees like a piece of crap and try to steal customers for their financial gain! read more

Love this Salon! Very clean, easy to walk in or make an appointment. I have been coming consistently for 6 months after I followed Emmy here from another salon. I recommend her and her husband Kevin to everyone. I am in the beauty industry so I have high standards, I love the service and visiting with her every month. read more

Decided to take my sassiest one here for her very first mani and pedi. She was adorably excited getting glammed up in that little pedi-chair. The care they give is phenomenal! The attention to detail was incredible and you won't leave dissatisfied. This is now my go-to nail spa and I'm definitely bringing sassy back! Also, ended up bringing my husband for a MAN-icure and Detoxifying Charcoal Pedicure. Now I'm adding this to the date night list of ideas! read more

I usually enjoy getting my nails done here, but today's experience was like one that i've never had before. I came around 2 hours before they closed, which i know and understand once a business is slowing down for the day, they all would like to get out of there. My nail tech was rushing very noticeably. I asked for a simple french tip with a layer of chrome, the job was done but very poorly. They look horrendous. I did not have the courage to say something, but any nail tech should know that this work is not acceptable, and it should not cost $75. Not to mention , she was coughing up a storm in my face without covering her mouth. read more

Scrubbing hurt and paint job not the greatest. They were friendly people though. Traveling through on vacation so won't have to return.

Please do better about scheduling appointments. If I make an appointment with my nail tech, we should avoid sitting her with another customer minutes before my scheduled time, knowing that it would run over.... The person who scheduled a time should not have to wait 20+ minutes to be serviced... It is not fair to the customers nor the technicians! Great nail salon, but needs better organization. read more

This is an awesome nail salon!! The staff is kind and friendly and they do awesome pedicures!!

They did okay on my toes. However, none of there colors match their dip and gel. I got gel on my nails and it looked awful. It was all over my hands and chipped off the next day. Plus none of my nails were shaped the same. I went home and shaped them myself. Totally it worth it and I will never go back. I have no idea how this place has the reviews it does read more

Worst nail job ever. Got half of the nail painted with metallic paint, it's not the original color/paint i chose, they just put the metallic paint on and said it will be better, NO, it's a lie! They never told me that the metallic paint won't give an even or smooth finishing, it will smear with the undercoat (you can see every single stroke of the paint marks). Now imagine half of your nails look like they have been painted by your 9yrs old niece. read more

I suddenly decided I wanted to have my nails done at a salon even though I've never gotten acrylics before, and I am SO GLAD I came here. It's been awhile since I've actually been in one but I would definitely recommend this place. Hannah was so kind and did such a good job with my nails and making sure I liked them in the process. I cant think of any complaints here, I love my nails and would definitely come here again if I decided I wanted acrylics again. Such a cute set for Valentine's Day! read more

Unfortunately i have to give a bad review because the new ownership completely changed the whole vibe at Sassy. They "fired" the best nail tech because they wanted her clients ... I won't be back & I won't support that kind of ownership. Hannah was my "go to" girl since Sassy opened & they completely disrespected her & mistreated her. read more

When I moved to st Augustine I left a nail salon that I grew to love in New Jersey. I shopped around but nobody cared to make sure my nails were healthy. This nail salon reminds me of home! The technicians are friendly, the salon is clean, and I can usually get an appointment when I need one. I also like that I can request an appointment online. I usually get a quick response. They don't try to upsell me either! I've brought my mom and mother in law to the salon, and have recommended it to other moms in the area. New salon in new, relatively upscale group of shops near a medical complex off State Road 210. In the same complex with a popular casual restaurant called "Grumpy's" and a sophisticated, expensive bakery that employs a true pastry chef. Down the road from burgeoning residential developments and from a Publix shopping center. Because some of the shop units are not yet occupied, parking is ample. Getting into and out of the complex, however, is horrible, as the area is under construction and near a major intersection, with LOTS of traffic. When leaving, if you want to go left, you may need to instead go right and then make an adjustment when traffic permits. Communication at the salon is challenging as English is a second language for all who work there. Scheduling same-day appointments over the phone, however, was manageable. I understand from other reviews that it is also possible to schedule appointments online. All of that having been said, I have had excellent pedicures during the two visits I have made here. Hannah is meticulous in her attention to detail. The regular nail color from my first visit lasted longer, with no chipping, than any nail color I have EVER had (and I am old!). The leg massage was lengthy and relaxing. The salon, while simple in design, is very clean. Prices are comparable to those in the area. I plan to return for a third visit. read more
