Service requested: signature pedicure $55 (I switch from signature Gel pedicure $70 and the signature pedicure. Let my nails rest between two months gel and two months regular nail polish) Service given: Very nice. Everyone speaks english and is very friendly. (There was this one older lady one time that was a little rude but in life there is always one and everyone has one bad day.) this is nicest nail salon I have been in a veeeery loooooong time. I now love coming only here for my pedicures. They are always nice and friendly. (Except for that one older lady ) Quality: Clean. Organized. They put plastic wrap over each basin. Keeps things clean. Vibe: More open and modern. It is welcoming-feel. Also, it feels and smells clean inside the salon. It doesn't smell dirty like some nail salons. You will like it. Very cute salon. Love the all white aesthetic. Bathroom: Clean. Always a plus. Hygiene: Very clean. Very happy with their cleanliness. Which is a MUST with doing nails. Price: Fair pricing and worth it as you receive good service. Highly recommend. I have come here each time without an appointment and they are always very good of welcoming and accommodating. They even sometimes give you a gift after your service. They are great.

This is my first time here. I took my mom to get a mani & pedi for her and myself for a wedding and we are very pleased with the results and level of customer service. First off, the place is big and very clean. Everything looks so new. The store has an elegant/classy look to it with all the white chairs. The owner and staff (Crystal, Kayla, and Nancy.. I think those were their names) were very friendly and inviting. They all greeted us with a smile when we got to the front desk to check in. Right when we sat down, Crystal asked if we wanted anything to drink since it was a hot day . I'm not sure if they usually ask everyone or if it was because I was with my mom (she's in her late 70s). She was very attentive to my Mom. She gave us a pillow to rest our hands on and get comfortable. Then they gave us some color samples to choose from (I forgot to take a picture of the rest), they answered all my questions and also gave some good recommendations. Crystal even asked my Mom and I what our outfit for the wedding looked like and helped us picked a nice color to go with it. She suggested cat eyes or chrome since it's the "new trend". Crystal tried doing cat eyes then chrome on top since I wanted to try both but then it lost the effect of the cat eyes. I told her I didn't want chrome anymore. She agreed that it didn't look good with both cat eyes & chrome so she took off the chrome without hesitation and fixed it. ( I know, I'm like the worse customer ever.. asking too many questions and changing my mind ). After the mani & pedi, they put some lotion and oil on our hands & legs and gave it a nice massage. I don't usually leave reviews but I thought this place was deserving of it due to the quality and customer service they demonstrated. I highly recommend this place to anyone that lives nearby. I didn't post a pic of my pedi because I don't like people looking at my toes. Lol.

I'm really happy with my daughter's acrylic nails. We came in last minute and they were so nice. The salon is very clean + trendy. Tin's attention to detail was on point. We had an idea for her Christmas nails and he made it come to life. Artistry is his strength! We will be back for her fill in the next 3 weeks.

Fantastic experience. Kris does such an incredible job with my long coffin acrylic sets.. She not only fixed my shape, but she really focuses on the details and you can easily tell that she loves what she does because of how dedicated she is. ( As shown in the images, attached. ) Kayla is my go to for pedicures and she does such an amazing job, too.

I've been coming here for over 5 years and cannot recommend them enough. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and very experienced. They are always responsive and helpful with scheduling. I see Kris for acrylic and Mai and Mina for pedicures, and they all do an excellent job every time. I'm so grateful to have found such a reliable nail salon.

Had high hopes for this place from the reviews. The lady doing my nails was quick,which I think most of us can appreciate! These are my nails after two days, they look so insanely grown out, the cuticles weren't touched, and the nail polish simply wasn't pushed to the cuticle. It's a bummer to get your nails done not as often and to have poor quality. When did nail salons stop cutting cuticles? A basic necessity to doing nails? The French mani turned out great and just as requested but they already look like I'm due for a hard gel fill.

I got a Gel X set for the first time with Angie and she walked me through the whole thing to make sure I was comfortable with it and they look AMAZING!!! I got the Dream Pedi from Nancy and it was just what I needed!! I definitely recommend these two ladies when you go get mani or a pedi!!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The service was amazing -- super friendly and professional. Prices are definitely more affordable than other places I've been to, which was such a nice surprise. The salon itself is really clean, spacious, and has a huge selection of colors to choose from. Kris did an incredible job on my nails (photos attached!) -- exactly what I wanted and super detailed. Nancy also gave me one of the best pedicures I've had. I left feeling so relaxed and happy with how everything turned out. I'll definitely be coming back, and next time I'm bringing even more people with me!

The best nails by the best artist, Kris :). She did my nails about a year ago, but I unfortunately couldn't remember her name to request for her service again when I booked the appointment this time around. I felt bad because this other nail tech was supposed to do my nails, but I decided to request for Kris instead since the other artist said she can't do the complex designs I was wanting and luckily I saw Kris working today. I'm so glad. She does SUCH BEAUTIFUL designs and beautiful, intricate 3D art. You can tell she's a perfectionist and really cares. I rarely get my nails done these days, but if I need some nail designs for special occasions, I'll be back. See photos. She nailed my vision. I'm sooo happy. I have been coming here for my pedicures recently and just wanted to submit some feedback. I have had a lot of pedicures done and the pedicure chair is comfortable, however where you rest your feet for the pedicure is not... its plastic and there is no cushion. After getting my pedicure done my foot was hurting from having to be rested on that area for over an hour at an angle. I am contemplating coming here again just due to that, most chairs have a cushion where you lay your feet and although it a small detail it is uncomfortable for the client. Other than that everything else was great and the techs are very nice just wanted to give some feedback. Ty! read more

Great vibe, good service, and most importantly clean! I got the jelly pedicure which was nice because you soak your feet in a jelly wash - it feels like orbeez or little gel beads and is pretty relaxing. The new gel menu they have includes chrome polish and jelly polish and I'm so happy w how my toes turned out. read more

Since I live close by I decided to try this salon to get my gel nails taken off. It was the longest removal I have ever experienced. I then asked for a simple manicure to let my nails breathe after months of gel. My nails were cut uneven lengths as my real nails grew out quite long. The manicurist did not put each nail on each hand side by side as all other places do. They were very nice, and place was large and very cute. I just don't know if I will come back due to my issues stated above. read more

Update from my previous review. Made reservations for me and my daughter for Friday afternoon, requested a tech and everything was good. Got there and they don't have my reservation and were rather rude. I gave them the benefit of doubt. I then asked them about the Tech and was informed she is here. She was sitting right across from us, doing nothing, I told her we had an appointment and she says I don't have time I have a client coming. My daughter looks at me says let's get out of here. After soaking my nails in 100% pure acetone and filing them down it has taken hours to properly take them off. Either they're using something weird or she make my nails way too thick. I'm gonna go with the benefit of the doubt and say she made them way too thick because they honestly do look thicker than when I usually get them done...I also hate the excuse I was given that "my fingers are crooked and why they looked a certain way" a good nail artist would adjust the shape to Match the nail not say "fingers crooked" I ignored it though because it was my birthday and my mom invited me to have a good day. I tried my best to love this place because it's cute and they were pretty nice, but honestly I can't justify the price and overall service. read more

I have yet to find a nail salon in this area that I actually love and it's a reasonable price. Took my daughter here and she is nine. They charge her more than they charged me and I don't even know what I paid for quite honestly and the quality of painting they did was pretty bad it look like a toddler could've done better. I don't think I'll come back here. Was hoping it was good. Great location, but disappointing. read more

I harken back to this salon under its old name. I needed a basic French pedicure, so I figured I would give it a shot. I chose the basic pedicure. The technician asked if I wanted callus removal and I said no. She asked if I wanted 5 more minutes of massage for $1 and I said yes. Somehow the bill jumped to $53 at check out. The extra 5 minutes was $8, not $1. She didn't do that great a job at massage. Not sure why it is an extra $10 for French. I miss Diane and the old salon crew! read more

it makes me so so sad to write this review because i was originally a ginormous fan of "the nail…read moreboutique," but after the service i received last week, i feel that i have to say something. last friday i had an appointment to get my prom nails done at 2:30 PM. when i arrived, i waited for over 45 minutes to receive my service. i was never offered water or anything (which honestly isn't a big deal but i just felt it was worth mentioning) but was also never really acknowledged. i almost felt like they forgot about my appointment. when my service finally began, i showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she was confident and excited to recreate my vision. however, what i left the salon with is far from what i asked for. i left with a flower that is sloppy, none of the petals connect, and that has a big red circle with black lines, which is nothing like what i asked for. beyond that, i felt like my french tips were somewhat rushed and a bit sloppy. i don't expect perfection by any any any means, but i just generally felt neglected as a customer and a bit rushed once my service began. beyond this, by the time monday came, which was 3 days after my initial appointment, one of my nails had fallen off. this was a full acrylic set that i paid over 93 dollars for, and less than 5 days later, they were already falling off of my fingers. again, i feel really bad writing this because i dont want to tarnish their reputation or make them seem like a terrible buisness, but im just really unsatisfied and upset with the service i received, and really frustrated that i spent close to 100 dollars for a service that does not meet my expectations. i know that 100 might not be a lot, but im still a teenager in high school, and i work really hard at my job to make that money, so losing that much of my money is just hard. i just would advise that if you go here, you definetly keep your designs simple, and make sure to go at a time when you know they won't be busy so that your appointment is not rushed.

I could have done a better job painting my own toenails which I think I'm going to do from now on instead of paying $35 for some whack job sloppy work. The photo I posted of my big toenails shows the horrible paint job. Granted, I took this photo 1.5 weeks after I got the pedicure, but the sloppy paint job is exactly what it looked like when it was freshly painted (minus the growth from the cuticle area). I can't believe I paid $6 more for the worst pedicure of my life. Sorry, Polish Nail Spa, I will not be coming back.

BUT. I just had my first treatment with Spela and I'm sold. I have always struggled with very dry skin and I also have lot of food allergies- (especially gluten). Despite being super conscientious about what I eat and what I put on my skin, I kind of resolved that my best skin would always include redness and bumps on top of the dryness. Then, in the last two months, I got a new member to the club- I developed some serious issues with the edges of my mouth being constantly cracked and then my skin all around my mouth basically cracking off. gross I know. I hadn't told Spela any of my gut issues or allergies and she read my face like a book- immediately pointing signs that out that my gut must be very upset with me lol and my gross mouth situation was peri oral dermatitis and possibly a B12 deficiency (which I know I have). She was immediately so encouraging we were going to fix it all (if I promised to do my part of the work- she was very clear on that lol). She sent me home with a regimen and I'm not kidding, it's only one day/ 2 regimens later and my gross mouth is already like 50% better and my skin is glowing. I can't say my skin has ever felt "nourished", and that really is the only way I can describe what my face feels like. Overall, her whole space and the experience was so relaxing. Love that. Location is convenient too, especially if you're already around Lake Forest/Irvine. It's just an easy place to stop by without turning getting your nails done into an entire afternoon activity. I've always had a good experience with the staff and I genuinely think there are a lot of talented nail techs here, so this isn't to take away from anyone else at all. Tina is just my personal favorite because she matches my pace. Fast, efficient, consistent and my nails always look good when I leave. Definitely one of those local spots you end up becoming a regular at. If you're particular about your nails but also don't want to spend your whole day getting them done, ask for Tina. Just don't book up all her appointments because I still need mine.

I went in there not knowing what to get but they were nice enough to give suggestions on designs and what to do. At first I want the swirly trendy design but it didn't look nice so Vivian helped come up with an ombré glitter design. They also sell homemade kimchi in boxes if interested!

it makes me so so sad to write this review because i was originally a ginormous fan of "the nail…read moreboutique," but after the service i received last week, i feel that i have to say something. last friday i had an appointment to get my prom nails done at 2:30 PM. when i arrived, i waited for over 45 minutes to receive my service. i was never offered water or anything (which honestly isn't a big deal but i just felt it was worth mentioning) but was also never really acknowledged. i almost felt like they forgot about my appointment. when my service finally began, i showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she was confident and excited to recreate my vision. however, what i left the salon with is far from what i asked for. i left with a flower that is sloppy, none of the petals connect, and that has a big red circle with black lines, which is nothing like what i asked for. beyond that, i felt like my french tips were somewhat rushed and a bit sloppy. i don't expect perfection by any any any means, but i just generally felt neglected as a customer and a bit rushed once my service began. beyond this, by the time monday came, which was 3 days after my initial appointment, one of my nails had fallen off. this was a full acrylic set that i paid over 93 dollars for, and less than 5 days later, they were already falling off of my fingers. again, i feel really bad writing this because i dont want to tarnish their reputation or make them seem like a terrible buisness, but im just really unsatisfied and upset with the service i received, and really frustrated that i spent close to 100 dollars for a service that does not meet my expectations. i know that 100 might not be a lot, but im still a teenager in high school, and i work really hard at my job to make that money, so losing that much of my money is just hard. i just would advise that if you go here, you definetly keep your designs simple, and make sure to go at a time when you know they won't be busy so that your appointment is not rushed.

The technician seemed completely uninterested and did the 15-minute massage so halfheartedly that I actually asked her to stop partway through. I understand having a busy or tiring day, but customers shouldn't receive a service that feels like the technician simply doesn't want to be there. There were several other things that made the experience feel careless. Everyone around me was offered a drink, but I wasn't. I didn't receive the usual pillow with a towel for my lap, and very little attention seemed to be given to my cuticles or the care of my nails. When the gentleman at the front desk asked how everything was, I told him, "It could have been better." He didn't ask any further questions or seem concerned. The front desk was also very disorganized, with the employee repeatedly leaving the desk while customers were waiting in line to pay. I've always liked coming here, so I hope this was simply an unusually bad day. But today's service was not at all the experience I've come to expect from Golden Nail File, and I left very disappointed.

After reading reviews, I booked an appointment and was greeted by Nina when I arrived. I would be lying if I said I wasnt worried. Nina and I spoke about the style and length I wanted which was ombre and to keep my natural nail length. I also had a pretty bad broke nail (I'm rough with my hands) and was worried we wouldn't be able to match the length to the rest of my nails. Nina recommended to get builder gel since I am prone to using my nails and hands. This would help keep my natural nails strong while continuing to grow them out. Once Nina started, she was very gentle and I was fairly surprised she did not need to do extensive work on my cuticles like pushing them back and cutting off excess dead skin (I do basic nail care at home so I'm hoping this means im doing a good job). She did pull my skin to expose the sides of my nails but she wasn't rough and I didnt feel any pain. After everything was finished, the end result was beautiful. Beautiful ombre wedding nails, no cuts or nicks around my nails/cuticles and overall my nails are comfortable. I will definitely be returning as I've already booked my appointment two weeks out, a few days before my wedding day, to get my nails freshened up. Thank you, Nina!
