The technician rushed through everything and didn't even bother to remove my cuticles because she was in a hurry to go finish someone else's nails despite the fact that I had called ahead to confirm they could take me at a specific time. I also asked her to take care of an ingrown nail, and she flat out said no. I'm extremely disappointed and will never return. I strongly urge others to avoid this salon as well. What makes it worse is that my gift card was for $40, and the pedicure cost $35--I let the remaining $5 go as a tip, and I'm honestly mad about that. Why did I even tip!? I arrived and they didn't acknowledge me because they were chatting. The salon was empty. I took a chance but I saw after why it was an empty salon. They accept cash only. They did not have the tools freshly sanitized like other salons that open up the sanitized bags of tools. They only had a few colors for dip. Mitchell didn't use the drill like other salons after she was done dipping my nails. I asked for a darker red and she wanted to put a gel color over the dip and I said no. When she was done I looked at my nails and they were so bumpy she told me it was because of the dip powder she said that's how it is. I was looking for a new go to place to get my nails done , the shop is super cute and chic , although this is my first time ive ever regretted getting my acrylics nails done they ache badly from the lady who pressed down while putting them on as well from filing them down too much. Each nail is a different length it seemed as if she was new im not sure. She was very nervous while doing them and left them quite bumpy i didnt ask for her name and i was late to work ; keep in mind i came in at 2:20 and left at 4:30. This place was horrible!! I went to get a full face wax and they were so expensive and didn't give me a deal for everything I was getting done . And secondly, they RIPPED MY SKIN OFF. I asked for a very natural manicure and no fake nails (I personally don't like fake nails at all) and Vivian the owner did them and they are SO pretty, she was so gentle and so friendly :)! My mother-in-law has been coming here for a while and turned me onto this place. It is not your typical salon. They do a consistently fantastic job every time. They all speak English. I believe the owner is Filipino (not that it really matters--just noting another difference from typical salons). They have two big screen TVs playing music videos. If you get to hear the owner sing along you will be in for a treat! This place has such a fun atmosphere! In addition to the excellent customer service, I extra stars because of cleanliness. If you get regular pedicures you will be given your own box of tools (with a box number you should remember) that will be stored there. For a classic pedicure, including callus treatment, sea salt scrub, paraffin treatment, and an extended massage I pay only $35. Other places would have charged and extra $5+ for those treatments!
