What I got
Candace G.

Please avoid getting your nails done here. Ridiculous up charges. Pedicure was $44. Gel is additional $15. French tip is $10. Total was $69 for pedicure after all up charges. I don't mind paying for the service but my French tip wasn't even straight. My gel builder was $70 and it is so botchy and thick. The ladies are nice but the service is horrible. To top it off they charge an additional 3% for using a DEBIT card which is illegal. Debit card surcharges aren't allowed. I've reported that to the OC consumer affairs. My inspo pic is what I wanted vs. what I got.

I needed a mani and a quick Yelp search led me to Nail Boutique in Foothill Ranch. The front desk receptionist was very friendly, got me seated right away, and introduced me to Candy, who specializes in gel manicures. You can tell this salon hasn't been open very long it looks like they took over the old Happy Nails space (you can literally see where the old sign was peeled off the wall). That said, everyone here is genuinely kind, and it's obvious they already have a lot of regulars. The vibe feels welcoming, almost like you're part of the family. Candy took her time and was very careful with my nails. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work and rightfully so. I'm really happy with how my nails turned out and will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area! If you're looking to try a new nail salon with friendly staff and great service, look no further and make sure to ask for Candy!

it makes me so so sad to write this review because i was originally a ginormous fan of "the nail boutique," but after the service i received last week, i feel that i have to say something. last friday i had an appointment to get my prom nails done at 2:30 PM. when i arrived, i waited for over 45 minutes to receive my service. i was never offered water or anything (which honestly isn't a big deal but i just felt it was worth mentioning) but was also never really acknowledged. i almost felt like they forgot about my appointment. when my service finally began, i showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she was confident and excited to recreate my vision. however, what i left the salon with is far from what i asked for. i left with a flower that is sloppy, none of the petals connect, and that has a big red circle with black lines, which is nothing like what i asked for. beyond that, i felt like my french tips were somewhat rushed and a bit sloppy. i don't expect perfection by any any any means, but i just generally felt neglected as a customer and a bit rushed once my service began. beyond this, by the time monday came, which was 3 days after my initial appointment, one of my nails had fallen off. this was a full acrylic set that i paid over 93 dollars for, and less than 5 days later, they were already falling off of my fingers. again, i feel really bad writing this because i dont want to tarnish their reputation or make them seem like a terrible buisness, but im just really unsatisfied and upset with the service i received, and really frustrated that i spent close to 100 dollars for a service that does not meet my expectations. i know that 100 might not be a lot, but im still a teenager in high school, and i work really hard at my job to make that money, so losing that much of my money is just hard. i just would advise that if you go here, you definetly keep your designs simple, and make sure to go at a time when you know they won't be busy so that your appointment is not rushed.

Came to the new Nail Boutique ( formerly Happy Nails) they are under new ownership but the staff is still the same . Salon very clean and nice with new chairs , they are still remodeling but the staff are very friendly including the woman at the front counter Sahn with the beautiful blue mermaid hair! She's lovely . Definitely coming back again .

Thank you Christine and Tony for such a beautiful job on my nails and toes today, specifically before the holiday weekend!! I had called 3 or 4 salons in the area that could not fit me in, however was running errands in the plaza and decided to see what the wait was as this nail salon did not show up in my Apple Maps. They had customers, but quickly accommodated me and treated me with such a welcome and so much kindness. They were professional, fast and did exactly what I showed in the picture.... I'm so thankful I found this nail salon. I'll be back in a few weeks!! THANK YOU Christine and Tony and "The Nail Boutique" ~ Heidi Joy :)

I have been here many times. Today, I was surprised because the owner or business manager is very friendly and kind. My pedicure spa technician did a great job with my toes. I would recommend this place to anyone. I found out that the nail salon is under new owner.

Christine is my go-to and always gets the shape right! And my nails last a long time when Christine does them. Ask for her!

My nail tech has been great. On two occasions, while she was traveling, I was scheduled with a different tech. Both times, my nails broke within a week. The first time this happened, it was under the old management and they handled it beautifully. The last time it happened it was under Key's management. He not only charged me for nails that lasted less than 6 days but he charged me again to remove what was left of them. The attached picture is what $80 will get you at GT nails under his management. I decided to go back when my tech returned so she could help with repairing the damages caused by the incompetence of the salon. The appointment was made weeks in advance. Confirmed via text. Altered, by the salon, via text four days prior. As I was driving to the appointment, I got a call to confirm I was coming. When I checked in, my ticket had my name, my tech's name, and the time of my appointment. I was seated with my tech and discussing how we should proceed. That's when Key popped up to ask if I was Lena. He asked 3 times and each time I told him no. He said Lena had the appointment time. He rudely tried to argue with me about my time stating that I had a "general" appointment and would have to prove to him that I was scheduled with my tech via text confirmation. then followed up with "or don't!" don't what? "show me the text or don't argue." mind you the same text I have is available to him on the salon's phone but he wanted me to provide further proof that it was in fact my appointment. It was now 15 minutes into my appointment time and Lena was nowhere to be found (also, the salon has plenty of seats available if she did come). After he thought he could speak to me like his mommy speaks to him, I told him his management skills were terrible and walked out the salon without getting my service. He has now messaged me multiple times, admitting to handling the situation wrong, but because his feelings got hurt, I can no longer return to the salon. I would rather dig my bare nails through a garbage dump than to ever allow an overgeown child try to test his adult voice on me again. KEY, YOU ARE A TERRIBLE MANAGER.

I checked their website to book the appointment and the price was still listed at $29 for the pedicure but when I got there, they didn't notify me about the price increase. When I told them that their website listed $29 for the pedicure, they said something about not having had time to update the website due to the weekend. At that point, they should have honored the $29 that I thought it was going to be with a caveat that I would have to pay $35 next time. But no such offer was given. I felt like this was false advertising and I have to call them out on this. Furthermore, this had to have been the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I could have done a better job painting my own toenails which I think I'm going to do from now on instead of paying $35 for some whack job sloppy work. The photo I posted of my big toenails shows the horrible paint job. Granted, I took this photo 1.5 weeks after I got the pedicure, but the sloppy paint job is exactly what it looked like when it was freshly painted (minus the growth from the cuticle area). I can't believe I paid $6 more for the worst pedicure of my life. Sorry, Polish Nail Spa, I will not be coming back.

I absolutely love this place for both nails and hair. But I have to say, no one does a blow dry…read morebetter than Abby, she is truly amazing. Last week she did my daughter's hair for her birthday and it came out exactly how I wanted. Even though we were running late Abby didn't complain at all. She took her time and made sure my daughter's hair was absolutely beautiful for the special day. Every time I need my hair done I always go to Abby. She just knows how to fix it and bring it to life, she really does have magic hands. On top of her talent her customer service is unmatched. She is kind, professional, and makes you feel so comfortable. I would never ever go anywhere else to get my hair done. Abby is the best and I can't recommend her enough.

DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE I rarely write reviews, but…read moreI feel compelled to share my experience to warn others and hopefully save them from going through what I did. I went in for a manicure and pedicure and decided to try something unique, specifically the cat eye nail effect. Abby assured me she could do it, so I trusted her. What followed was nearly three hours of work that resulted in something completely different from what I had asked for. The extensions were poorly applied, with noticeable bumps where they were glued on. Abby seemed to sense my disappointment and offered to redo them, but with my limited availability, spending even more time to fix something that should have been done right the first time just wasn't feasible. She charged me $57 for both services, and I assumed she had given me a discount considering the poor outcome. I still tipped her well, acknowledging the time she spent. However, less than a day later, one of my nails broke. In all my years of getting my nails done, that has never happened so quickly or without reason. I had no choice but to return just to fix the broken nail. As someone else was repairing it, quickly and with noticeably better quality, Abby informed me she had forgotten to charge me the full amount and asked me to pay the difference. I found that extremely unprofessional. And to make matters worse, another nail broke the very next day. I will not be returning. It is clear she took on a service she was not qualified to perform just to make a sale. Completely unacceptable.
