Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

I could see it. And sure enough, by the end of the same day, that nail had already cracked and was looking overgrown. Same-day results like that tell you everything you need to know. I paid good money to leave feeling dismissed, hurt, and with nails that were already failing before I got home. I'd strongly recommend requesting a different tech if you visit Latouie -- or doing your research before sitting down.

I was initially told a nail design would cost $40, but after I declined, the price suddenly dropped to $10, which felt misleading. The worst part was that I was left with my hands under the UV lamp while my technician walked away to do someone else's pedicure. I was sitting there for several minutes, and the heat became so intense that I had to speak up because I couldn't keep my hands in the lamp any longer. She only returned after I complained I was going to leave. When I explained my negative experience to the man working there, he only asked about the clear gel on my feet and ignored the rest of my concerns. IT WAS CLEAR how can I show that? Overall, the customer service and attention to clients were very disappointing. I left feeling uncomfortable and unheard, and I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi. I saw a flyer for "Forever charmed by V" which is a pop up shop that they have where you can get "forever jewelry" while you wait for your nails to dry. She kinda moved very quickly and felt she could have spent a little more time. Once I was done, she attempted to charge me $5 more than the usual rate, I objected. The lady next to me tried to justify but the manager who knows I come regularly said something and they corrected the amount. I am contemplating going back to Lina's across the street due to this. It was utterly disappointed with the experience. The service itself was mediocre at best, but what truly ruined it for me were the hidden fees and unclear pricing. There were numerous charges that were never mentioned upfront. For example, basic services like cuticle care and nail shaping, which I assumed were included, were billed separately. The staff was not transparent about these extra costs, and when I questioned the final amount, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It felt like they were deliberately trying to keep these fees hidden until the last moment. This kind of dishonest pricing is unacceptable, and I left feeling cheated and frustrated. I was going for a friend's birthday party last week and visited this place to get my nails done. They had a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. I wanted something fancy and colorful for my nails, something that grabs attention right away and they didn't disappoint. My nails looked absolutely gorgeous and everyone at the party was asking me where I had got them done. This place is amazing. I come here almost every month to get a complete manicure and they always do such a terrific job. I have never felt rushed or experienced bad service from them and you can tell how much they love doing nails by the level of detail they put into their work. I usually work with Vicky because I have clicked with her from my very first visit but I think the other girls are just as good. I had an absolutely terrible experience at Glorious Nail. Not only were their prices outrageously high, but I also felt completely scammed by the male manager. He was incredibly unethical, adding hidden charges and refusing to explain them when questioned. The quality of the service was mediocre at best, making the exorbitant prices even more unjustifiable. I love Blooming Nails been twice. Had my nails done by the gentleman and the lady. Both did amazing. I got my nails done on 03-23-2023 and today 04-08-2023 they still look new just some grow out from my nails. I wish I could give 100 stars! I am a big fan of this place. I visited them for a complete manicure and pedicure about six months ago and have been going here regularly since then. All the girls that work here are sweet and friendly. They are also very experienced with hand and foot care, especially Joyce and Elina who were amazing. The charges are reasonable and they are pretty quick. A full service takes about an hour and this is the place to go if you are in a rush. read more

This is a nice little salon in the middle of New York. I have been here 3 - 4 times and to get my manicure and nails done. The staff is experienced in their work and quite skilled. The charges are ok. Cindy, who gave me a manicure, is one of the best nail technicians I've ever had. She can work magic on your nails and always creates the most beautiful designs. Total crap place. Expensive for no reason and over charge for every single detail. Rush you to get out, won't even do the design that you want because "they don't have time", powder is laid on way to thick and they get upset when you tell them to redo something or don't like something. I just recently went back to getting my nails done after years of doing them myself. I went to many salons and was disappointed, was recommended here and love it. I have ocd my nails are a petpeeve that is why I did them myself for so long. I got powder dip over my nails and it is beautifully done, neat and clean and even. She speaks English and Mandarin Chinese. Gel French tips manicure and pedicure were about $27 (20% tip is $7) and $37 (20% tip is $9). Included with the service is a small hand back, and feet massage. They also offer powder and normal nail polish, and many designs. There are two rooms in the back for wax services. Bring cash. They charge a 14% fee for credit card.

They had a good amount of color selection but they don't have them painted anywhere so you'd just have to tell the color by the bottle. I wasn't satisfied with my previous nail salon so I came across Nails on U. I got a UV gel refill with a micro french tip design and it was 35$+ tip. Van did my nails and I have no complaints. The shape is not thick and the edges are really clean. I finally found my nail place. Will be going to them from now on.

They do a wonderful job everytime. I usually get SNS done, and my nails last for about 2-3 weeks, and still look as great as when I first got them done. At the end of your nail session, they do a mini shoulder massage to relieve any tension, which is nice after sitting in the chair for so long. They also give you a stamp card, so after 10 visits, you can get a free manicure, which is a cool plus!
