Gloria Jeans is located inside the South Hills Village Mall. It's very affordable. I got a frozen coffee drink which was the caffeine kick I needed. Wasn't too sweet. My friend got a boba coffee and loved it. That is the drink they are known for apparently. This isn't a coffee shop where you sit down and do work. There are a few tables in the front near the entrance to the mall so it's not quiet. So just FYI! read more

I've heard great things, but I wasn't the biggest fan! Maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I got a strawberry matcha latte, it was okay. It definitely wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again, especially for how expensive it was. It was very cute on the inside though and they have tons of drink options and baked goods! read more

Their coffee just doesn't do it for me. They absolutely scorched the milk and the espresso tasted bland.

I've only come here a few times, but every experience has been okay! I love all of the goodies they have around for you to look at. They have tons of mugs, flavors of ground coffee, a huge tea selection, coffee syrups, and more! I wasn't so crazy about my recent order unfortunately. I tried the chocolate turtle mocha, but I decided to get it on ice. Definitely would be best served hot. My mistake on that one. Last time I got another iced latte (forget the flavor) and it was delicious. I want to keep trying things on their menu! At this point I would rather support Gloria Jeans over Starbucks. I know it's also a chain, but it's definitely a smaller chain I'd like to support more. I'm hoping I can find something on the menu that I absolutely love. I'm pretty picky about my coffee, but I'll keep coming back to try more when I can! read more

It seems like everyone in the South Hills Mall, whether young or young at heart, has a cup from here. While recently shopping about, I popped on a Starbucks jaump, but upon visiting the second floor saw where all those cups were coming from. The shop is very small- in fact if you blink you'll miss it (I nearly did). It is a coffee shop by trade, but also has a wall of coffee cups and gift sets, as well as the opposite wall having a variety of gifts and coffee etc. What was huge was they had a person out front giving out samples. I believe what I got is what is pictured (woman across from me in a sitting area had it) - a cookie crumb macadamia nut chocolate some or other. I don't think this item is coffee based- more of an iced frappacino that you would get somewhere else. Very sweet and tasty - I only had a small sample of it, but as you can see it looks very good. read more

Excellent coffee, bakery items, and a wonderful staff! Very clean and organized cafe, and an awesome place to have a drink and do some reading or chat with a friend. I really like coming here. There's a wide selection of drinks to choose from for both coffee and non-coffee drinkers. The place has a good vibe to it, nice music in the background, and customers are a mix of regulars and those grabbing a drink or treat while shopping. This is inside the South Hills Village Mall. I've never had to wait too long for my coffee. Definitely fast/prompt service. There are a lot of different options but I personally still like Starbucks over Gloria Jean's. There are a lot more ''Chiller'' (frappuccino) options here though that are fairly tasty. There was a seasonal flavor - Pistachio chiller - that was really delicious. It tasted like a mix of hazelnut and toffee. It's not offered now in the late summer. I usually get an Iced Vanilla latte, and that sets me back around $4.00. They also sell a variety of biscotti, pre-packaged cookies and other pastry items. I haven't tried any but they look decent. The store here is really cute with ceramic cups lining the wall. There are only a few tables inside but I've never had a problem finding a seat. There's also free WIFI. read more

This place smells soooooooooooo good, like really delicious fragrant coffee. The store is really narrow and long, so it's easy to walk right by it in the mall, but if you walk less than 10 feet from all the storefronts, the smell will make you do a double take. The drinks don't taste quite as good as the store smells though, but it's pretty good. I wouldn't really consider this a coffee shop though, because I'm pretty sure no one gets coffee here. The frozen treats are really similar to Starbucks but there are more inventive options, and at least one with a lot of caffeine (best of both worlds!) - the owner had to warn me and make sure twice that it's what I wanted. They're pretty much perfect for shopping fuel. Beware! The drink sizes are above your head when you order at the register, and they are bigger than Starbuck's! A small here is a grande. (If I remember correctly) I don't really remember ever having gotten a warm drink here either, but if I have, it's just not that memorable. The italian soda here is also really good and sugary and carbonated. Seems like every mall needs to have a coffee shop, and they're just wildly popular due to demand for caffein. I'm glad this is the one this mall has though. I've seen a lot worse. read more

Love the new layout in the store. Great frozen drinks, deserts and 'best price' for K- cups especially that you can pick a variety of 22 different ones for 14.95$. Only drawback is some of the newer (probably seasonal) employees are not skilled in making the hot or complicated drinks. I used to order an Americano but after 4 separate attempts over a few weeks ( when prepared by newer employees) my Americano has tasted like heavily diluted coffee. I have now resorted to only getingt a regular coffee now. Case and point, last Friday I ordered a 16oz Coffee with one Expresso shot and the new ( seasonal ) employee looked confused and, in the end gave me what tasted like a very expensive cup of coffee :-( Next time I am going to ask Mike ( Owner/Manager I think) to make my Americano because he knows how. Lately, because of the busy season, he has been working the register and directing the seasonal employees. read more

I love Gloria Jeans every time I stop at the mall! They have unique seasonal flavors and are always friendly and efficient! They do not place as much junk in your coffee as places like Starbucks does which always gives me a headache and bellyache. I love their mochas and lattes! If you are in the mall I definitely recommend stopping here instead of Starbucks. Sometimes they are even giving out flavors to try as you walk by which is nice. Personally I believe that Gloria Jeans is much better than other coffee shops in the South Hills area. This little coffee shop is a small business owned by some of the kindest and caring people I know. I have been coming here for years now and always see them greet everyone in the kindest way possible making their experience there worthwhile. I have never waited for a drink for too long and never had a problem with any of the drinks. Some of their drinks are extremely tasty. I recommend the Triple C other wise known as the White Chocolate Caramel Cookie Chiller. read more

I enjoy the coffee here because it is always just the right temperature. Starbucks coffee is always so hot I have to wait 20 minutes to take a sip or risk boiling my tongue. I can sip this coffee right away which is important when getting my morning started. The pastry selection is always good too. Overall a good place for a scone and a cup of joe. read more

I soooo wish I lived closer to South Hills Village mall, just so I could go to this could go to this cute little coffee shop all the time. The customer service was wonderful, they were very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed looking around at the coffee mugs. I ordered the Peach Tea Lemonade. It was perfectly sweetened with ice. I think the thing that was the craziest to me was, as time went on and the ice melted....IT WAS STILL SWEET!!!! Usually, at other places it lacks sweetener and as soon as the ice begins to melt, it tastes like colored water. So I am totally impressed with their tea. The Asiago Bagel was also delicious. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely stop by again to try out the coffee. read more

They now carry lady locks and cookies from bethel bakery. Had a wonderfully fresh and delicious lady lock and fresh delicious coffee today. Place was clean , nicely decorated and employees were friendly! I prefer Gloria jeans coffee , always perfectly brewed and now with bethel bakery sweets only makes it more of a bonus!
